Better not play at all. Moskva gets farm DM, lots of skill. Or you play a ship that you have and do the best you can and know or you don't play that mode

After, patch 9.2 I really don't know. No, they do not. you can recover 100% of fire damage. The damage that one takes, most of the times it's when one gets focus by multiple ships, or when one triggers RP to soon. one can have 1/4 health left, and recover almost half of the ship worth in health or more. Real damage will be after patch 9.2. FP will be useless after that, 4 points wasted, and if there will be a reset skill period, I hope it's not like the last time. Because WG buried that option somewhere and I didn't found it in time Result. My Gneisenau still has AFT, so, 4 points wasted, 4 points that I could use for something else

Just be careful, you may seen a cv afraid of a dd, but that doesn't make the norm. If you rely on that in the future, you may be put in your place by a cv. Just saying...

Random games are better now, no more steamrolls defeats, even during the last weekend, we can actually enjoy a battle even if it is a defeat in the end. I was wonder why... can be because of Ranked? It's nice to see in the minimap , 5 minutes into the battle the other flank still there.

Changing the economy? I can only speak for myself I like 150's/155's I'm not seeing myself changing to 203's in those tiers. I have them and I don't play them. In fact, once I reached t8 I started to drift more towards BBs. The way I see it. - I'll be main something else or - As I don't have my favourite ships anymore (because IFHE rework ruined them) to fall back for whatever reason I just lose interest in the game and play less and less until I stop playing it eventually

@RamboCras I understand. Bayern was a zero to me than it became a hero, it completely stole the show from Gneisenau and Bismarck

A thing i learned with my breaks was not to make too many grinds, not putting myself in your and what was once mine position. take a break/ease on the play Be more selective which event you go for. Play casual between the events you decide you go for. Enjoy what you have in port, you mind find something interesting. After my breaks I picked up Bayern, a slow BB, but guess what? From Zero to Hero, then a ship I hardly played, now it's one of my go to ships, a "work horse" with a 19 points captain.

Sorry for the long post. I noticed a huge difference from Schohrs to Chapayev, in paper they are very similar ships, but, there's something off with Chappa, while both can kite, with Schohrs you can dodge and duke? incoming fire with more ease than with Chappa, and I struggle a lot for range with Chappa or Donskoy. Spotter plane can make all the difference, it may be a very situational thing but it's perfect for targets of opportunity to hit that BB or that DM in the other side of the cap and start some fires, to soften up the support of dds/or make that ship move from cover and so on. After I get my Moskva i'll return to chappa and get the previous hull, the one with spotter plane, to experiment, to try to see if I can narrow the difference between them. But the lack of speed will remain there I have way more battles with Shchors than with Chapayev, I don't know if it is because of that but I feel more comfortable in the t7 vs t9s than with the t8 vs t9s. Either way Schohrs will remain one of my "work horses" I was talking about Donskoy, at t9 I get my speed back, but I lose on the guns, surprisingly the squishy reputation don't bother me at all, way more tankier than Shchors or Chapayev if you ask me and I get heals. When the split was announced I rushed to get Moskva, so I started with a 8 point captain in chapa, now he's in Donskoy with 13 points, 2 more points to get concealment. That video can be outdated but only partially. Can be still relevant. Flamu talks about the amazing radar but he also talks about the trade off, chappa, gains radar but loses in other fields, loses in things that I actually miss. So far and IMO, the pinnacle of RUCLs line is Shchors and Budyonny, mine share the same build (PT, IFA, EM, DE, IFHE, RPF and CE) It's not only the other lines that will have a rough time with the RU split, the current RU ships will have it rough too if the new ships are release as they are. specially after the IFHE rework. I don't dislike the French but... too many buttons and in the wrong places, I'm always activating the wrong consumables, the reload booster e.g. WG could built in that thing buffing slightly the reload time instead of creating one more consumable to be activated in the wrong time.

Well, as I'm getting closer to Moskva I cannot stop thinking in this vid. Long story short, I think the "trade of" do not pay. If we see t6 and t7 RU Cls and compare with t8 and t9 RU cls, I think the major difference is radar. While Chapayev has good concealment , his handling is bad, feels stiffer, slower and slower to respond than Shchors. With DM Donskoy you lose the insta detection or almost insta detection, when you have 14 km concealment and a 12 km radar. If we compare both to Shchors, they have the same concealment and worse concealment respectively, both of them have less range, and because of the guns calibre Donskoy have a lower ROF. And earing Flamu's review I'm thinking if it was possible to drop the radar, the t9 ship ( I cannot comment about Moskva) would receive a concealment buff, and perhaps Moskva as well. and Chapayev would be faster Chapayev and Donskoy aren't bad ships, but at the same time they are not as memorable as the previous ships are.

I'm at DM Donskoy, and so far, best ships of RU line . Budyonny and Shchors ,by a mile, hands down. Up there, with them, Bayern and Nurnberg, Bismarck and Gneisenau I also like Kuma, furutaka, Helena, Baltimore That's MY line up of ships, it's incomplete .

A long, long time ago I made a similar topic asking for advice to which light cruiser to get, at that time the cruiser to beat was Kuma. That topic was of immense use for me, great advices and great ships followed Kuma. I had so much enjoyment. So, I ask you. Which Gunboat to get of which line. This time the "Kuma" it's Nicholas, I just unlocked Farragut very fun 5 turrets, with, what seems to me, beefier guns. Thank you.

Sorry to say, but there is, Shchors. In a head to head (both of them shouldn't do that) Shchors win almost every time. Call me crazy , but for me it's a selling point, Guns oriented ship, there's nothing like a torpless dd to convey that idea @OldschoolGaming_YouTube i'll check you out. I think I already saw two of your vids, one with Khaba, the other one with Atlanta. I just checked Khabsstock stats, 11 sec rudder, ouch. My Bayern has the same rudder time. Actually it's what I'm thinking about Akizuki, how would it do with such competition. I think I saw that in a CC video (about Haida)

I don't know why people feel guilty to play Smolensk, yes it's a broken ship, when it fires seems like it's taking a piss in the wind and if one is taking the shells it sound like it's raining outside. But if you are doing well it's by your own merit. there's a lot of smolensks at the bottom of scoreboards, this included (see OP scoreboard).
