Perhaps, they say what they say because they've got or had Colorado for measure? I abstain myself of any commentary because i'm pretty low in US BB tech tree, where all of them are slow. But i'm one of those that turned 180º overnight. I used to hate slow BBs, but Bayern showed be if i go slower i'll stay afloat for longer. Having weaker armour than other tiers (t7 and t8) it's not entirely a bad thing, it kills over confidence and forces you to me more focused and anticipate more which can make you life longer But , that slow...i don't know...

Alabama, never lost a single life due to enemy action (it suffered an accident where 5 lives were lost and 11 were injured, i believe), also served in the Atlantic, Mediterranean and Pacific Both ships have good things and both ships have great historical credentials. But as I'm well stocked with brawlers. Alabama will be the first choice for me.

I just went to look at it's stats again when i saw this mention about Florida, and i didn't want to be caught by surprise and thanks to @CptMinia's topic i think. Alabama keeps looking good so far.

Nothing special, really unless the adrenaline rush that came from it. Bottom tier, not knowing what i was going into (and i bet the dd didn't knew either). What seemed a clear and early defeat...

The norm, was 4/5 dds per match Lately there's been a drop in dd numbers like never before. I can't say for sure if it's the majority of games ( i don't have graphs or excel sheets but, certainly, even you noticed. One thing I'm sure, There's been much more games with much less dds to none at all than what used to be. I just had one more with 1 dd per side.

Actually was more, in this game (the one of the screen shot) i was mentioning the last game i had before this one. So, two games with one DD per side, should i refer the games with NO dds at all? Games with only two dds are far too few, there isn't enough, if something happens and a lot could happen... they are just not enough. three dds are enough but just. practically no room for errors. The spear is losing it's point.

@SeaWolf7 My advice it's to do some co-op first to "learn the ropes" or to solidify what you already know. - Where to smoke up in relation of your fleet and the red fleet( to not block your team mates view and yours ) - How to stand in the smoke. - where to stand to make a hastily retreat if needed things like that. I would not go to + t8 or above t5, at least for now. Don't mind doing badly in co-op because games like this will get you killed in an heartbeat in random (get 71 destroyed or capture or assisted in capture ribbons to get a Graf Spee which i did) Spare yourself from last hurrahs, we need more dds not less players or less cruisers.

If my memory is good you are a cruiser main, a RNCL main to be more exact, and if i stretch myself, i'll go on a limb to say your favourite ship was Fiji..... From a cruiser main to another Poor choice of class, it will be your last hurrah, a very short and quiet one. It's easier to kill one than to survive in one, or to protect one if you come from a break, i only hope that you have a relaxed posture and opened minded one, because you will need it, especially if you go to be a dd player. If you want to play dds, stay at t6 the most, at least for now. There are fewer and fewer dds players in every mode now, dd mains are going for other classes, and that affects other classes too.

Now, Before t6 could put an amazing AA ship on the field. For the cv, the clear answer would be Cleveland, and the MM would not needed to be saturated with Cleves to see cvs giving up after a while. How i miss Cleveland. t6 was the strongest tier, populated with the most well balanced ships in the all game

i used to think that way back then when i was in Omaha (4.5 km) but then i went for the RU line. Now 5.5 km torps, like the ones in Nicholas or Farragut seems like a luxury ...but i still have the habit of launching it too close. And i still get nervous when i launch against a target 4.5 km away. Hey, the shorter the range less chances you have to miss the mark. I was under the impression that farragut was ok at AA and considered the best t6 DD

Indeed it is. the sad part, they only remember t6 when they need testing or cannon fodder. Nah, my top picks will be Bayern and Nurnberg they did a great job in t6 sprint. Budyonny it's also top pick. And i have other options too, even Ranger.(just kidding, but i could if i wanted to) After all, we are talking about t6. I expect dds to do the spotting. And i got tired of waiting for my flank, 2 BBs and 2 cruisers standing there waiting, so, i went first, the others followed me, i was in a "dd" with 15 km detection range.

I'm not so sure of that. 1 - in the old days, after get deplaned, was common habit for cv players to go charge into the red team and give more 65 additional points in a silver plate to the other team. 2 - Nowadays there are cvs with better secondaries than BBs secondaries, and at least a good portion of games with Graf Zeppelin in them , you can see cvs trying to brawl with BBs, trying to cap in the late game brawling everything that comes in their way or even pursuing dds (which may not be a bad policy, they spot dds with planes and wreck them with secondaries) and by the looks of it, it's a new german cv 3 - Being in the old days or in the new days, certain cvs always try to find better position to keep the pressure on and reducing flight time.

6? you like to live on the edge. Most of the times it's only 4 and most of the times they go all wonky, at least in Gneisenau. How i understand you today 6 guns? Gneisenau is enough for me. Today I'm a bit tired of the German dispersion and trolly guns. Today Georgia and Massa (roughly a german BB without turtleback , with bigger guns but trolly guns)they got old pretty quick today. At the same time i tried other battleship in the last rental, and it remained in my mind ever since. ( perhaps was a buffed MM and RNG) It has 9 406 guns with 1.9 sigma has nothing to do with German BBs or with French BBs (guns on the small side) A oldie that got revamped ( they lowered the citadel) but it fell good, you point, you shoot, you hit and hit hard. Downside it's secondaries and the armour is not German grade. the upside, i can focus in survivability. It will be a different thing I hoovered over the buy button several times now. I'm talking about.. Alabama
