I think has more to do with the angle you are seeing the reticule. In the case of the German the reticule is more far away and in a shallower angle. Perhaps that's the so called German style reticule

How can you say that?... ok, if you forget the planes, damage output is kinda of meh. Rhein, can gun down a Langley in a decent time, it can give you secondary hits, it's not slow and it's somewhat manoeuvrable, it has good AA My best so far is 52 planes (being side by side to the other cv, helps a lot). I wasn't expecting that, i was caught completely by surprise, especially with only 4 x 88mm guns, 4...wtf... It's a Lol ship, a ship to put you in a good mood. Full secondary build , BFT, AFT, IFHE, the works. Against other Rhein it's a stand off, nothing happens I'm definitely going for Wesser to be able to do missions. As long you don't take it serious it's a great ship, all but meh

@Inappropriate_noob You have to get this one. My first Rhein game was just laughs, OMG. rocket planes are a bust by the time i dive in the reticule it's already half way across the map. Torpedo planes are ok. Dive bombers, i kinda like it, they climb so high and the reticule it's just beneath them, at least, you see where your reticule is. (the dive time it's a bit short) The planes are tough as hell (but i think that's more to do with the ships tiers than with something else, so, don't quote me on that.) The best part of german cvs are the guns, they don't do jack crap...but feels good. Full secondary build and will do wonders in the hit X times kinda of mission. I very much doubt that. there's no reason why t4 cvs have the amount of players that it has, especially when compared with other tiers. Perhaps some of t4 cvs don't go up because of AA, that starts at t6. this i assume.

It's a place where you can find old ghosts staring you back into your eyes. the last time i went there, Salomon islands map, i was in the kuma, stealth firing into the red flank and all was fine, then i saw a team mate charging into that flank into a massive crossfire it didn't last 30 seconds. Something must be done, but sometimes doing something is doing nothing. I was softening them up, but no, there, they don't want any of it. And we can't get angry or frustrated it's just the way things are We had the upper hand but we give it all away. I just don't understand low tier dynamics, in one moment it's in the bag, closed and sealed, the next moment it's a sounding defeat. It's completely unpredictable. I remember a division that was quite regular in t1, back in the day. They were good. And then i saw they had t10, t9 ships, thousands of battles, stats wise they were average at best but at the same time they had a buttload of low tier battles, surely they already were playing high tier when i was just in t1. @HansRoaming I don't know if Nelson is fun or not. i don't know the ship Just be aware. Nelson has worse armour than Bayern which is a t6. 26 mm bow and stern, deck (middle section it's 32 mm) so, pretty susceptible to fires. The monster heal is there for a reason Plus, you might have a rough experience when bottom tier

Low ROF 25mm upper bow (not very reliable) You know what? in Contrast, Mainz seems like a better proposition and Hipper, a more reliable option. Tallin has nothing in it's stats that would draw me into it, i look to that ship and i see underwhelming all written on it. Most probably i will just skip this one

Overall it looks like less reliable than hipper. 25 mm bow and a whopping reload time. You just punch me twice in the stomach, i don't have any breath left to lay that ship right now. Maybe in a future. How a ship with 180's can have a longer reload than a ship with 203's ?

I forgot, but in my defence. it used to be, make x mission or a chain of missions and win whatever. Now, it's more, to win whatever buy bundles. I just received a notification about a collaboration with azur lane and i have to buy stuff to get it. My hipper captain it's an anime character called hipper and i got her by grinding.

@Duke_1128 Thundered it's a glass cannon, a big glass cannon. to do well in it you have to be good at glass cannons, if not it's just another frustrating ship where you spent a lot of coal. hold on to your coal, not long ago wg removed some ships and some of them will return. Especially if you will not have sufficient coal when they arrived I meant to go for Salem but then as JB was to be removed, so i went for JB in time. I still want Salem but i'll wait for Flint first. (i only have 266 k in coal and around 70 coal containers i will open them in the right moment) Don't go for captains if you don't have a coal surplus because they cost almost the same as ships, and they will lose their value if you can't unlock their special abilities (check that out first)
