No they don't (probably). I'm not putting any hopes in my t7 cruisers (AA wise). if you pick the best t6 cruiser AA wise, Cleveland without the consumable it's mediocre at best. All the rest got inexistent aa capabilities.

they are not, and it's exactly my point. apart of campers and what not, often, bb drivers say that it's very difficult to them to choose the way to go because their ships are slow, etc and once they are committed they are committed but it's difficult to choose a bb to support, are you supporting the right bb? and you can say the same for all the others ships. But cvs are the fastest things on the map, they are perfect for support. Except they aren't right now. Lemmings parade? if we don't split ourselves, how we avoid crossfires, or flanking, manoeuvres? or prevent the other team of capping two points? Agreed, recognizing what the others intend to do it's difficult and position yourself between that is even more. (in random). So, you're saying that to "play intelligently" A.K.A , follow the cv moves or play in such a way so we don't need the air cover, avoiding the red planes and/or go for AA. After all this topics, yes, the cv can be a bit predicable but in an random environment that is a little bit difficult. Don't you agree?

I'm not blaming cv's of anything, just saying that cv's are in need of an overhaul, to be able to do their jobs properly. (A.K.A. more fighters squadrons in addition to what you already have). And that would chance nothing, all would remain the same balance wise, but put you in a position capable of providing air cover. And certainly you also ear in your games the requests for fighters. (ok, it's a hotkey but 90% of the requests are for fighters). A ship that chooses hydro becomes more independent on the field but more dependable of the cv. Maybe with the duke of York, that will chance because he's got no heal, cruiser repair party, AA and Hydro, etc that makes him a cruiser. (î finally saw what you talked about.)

yes, but 8 squadrons would stop those strike bombers. there's simply too few squadrons in a cv, any cv. and that's the problem. What's a cv ear the most in a game? Provide AA fire support (fighters) What he have the least amount of? fighters.

Well, I can say that I don't like the map, way too many islands, the first one, a big one in the bottom map shouldn't be there at all, Open water would be better. Second I don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing there, what to do, etc. the only video I saw so far was one made by Jingles and what I saw there has nothing to do what I experienced so far, others youtubers must be asleep, or distracted. T7 ships, I don't play them for a while now, and did just a few battles in them before I turned to t6 again. they suck, they are slow, have bigger guns that they should, what a difference, from what I've been playing. My stock Myoko with a captain in the red, it's the worst one, the guns are so slow to do everything (I loose interest quite easy) , nice HE, thou. my best score so far was around 40k (2 battles) Algerie, well slower than LaGal, didn't liked it very much either(lost some focus, too), my best score so far was around 40k (2 battles) (fully upgraded) The "Turd", well, still the "Turd", still don't like the guns, shoot ap against everything but dds, my best score so far around 40k or 50k (2 battles) (fully upgraded). My stock Shchors with a captain in the red, was the best one so far, agile from the get go, fast guns, my best score so far, 140k in my second attempt . Need two or three shchors per game, thou, I always need to do a pit stop at the "gas station" to refill it with hp again. I know, I know, I got to get used to t7 again but, what a difference they made to t6 ships . Surely the nations represented in game had or have CL's to fill tiers higher than t6, US alone wouldn't be enough. The new patch, well, I didn't see one after battle score once, even in random the game it's always or almost always disconnecting from the server. Still haven't the slightest idea what to do in there, etc. The operation itself could be very good overall, once I get my bearings in there.

Done some more missions. I'm readjusting to the t7 again, my best score so far was made with the Shchors, the only one (of those that I have) with 152/155 mm guns. (more on the lines of t6, perhaps that's why). Yes, I know, it's a new mission, never played it before, etc, so nothing new so far, but in all the other missions I got used to watch it first on youtube, then play it . This time I'm completely blind. Apart of the RU cruiser, the others don't deal very well with dd's at close range (when I'm in the repair point e.g.) I don't know who or what is whiskey, it's ours? it's theirs? I don't know, that message appears when I'm trying to deal with the Cleveland or Alabama. yeah, the first time I saw that Aoba, thought a t6 in here? how? next battle I'm going to get one t6 too. Going to play some more.

Two of my ships are stock versions, so not quite in position to do that (range wise). But yes, that repair point it's very similar to the op. operation new Port one's, you can take advantage. Very fast paced, very intense, I like it, but way to many islands. Easy I don't say just now. and Myoko's HE, well, wtf was that? fires from every where, 2 fires in one salvo, etc, but the rest hem. Like furutaka, a great brawler wasted.

I have too few battles in t7. But, so far my favourite it's Budyonni.
