Its really not that hard to guess the price of a ship, you see its tier and compare with others in premium shop and armory, whatever it be a coal,steel or doublons, prices are always in range with others of the same tier.

You said you like torpedoes, well Kaga has them, and a lot. a lot of torped planes in reserve also, so you can sp torpedoes almost whole game without even using anything else. It has 4 torps per drop,nd they hit hard. Kaga has bad rocket planes so you wont use them anyway, if you need second option you can use HE bombers. In short ,if you like torpedo planes buy Kaga. If you want a tech tree CV, you can try Shokaku ,it has hard hitting torps,or Lexington who has more of them.
