Simple question(s). 10 point captain on a KIrov, what skills should I take ? Plus I'd like to take him on up to T6 at least, so are skills for both t5 and T6 the same?

@OP Because this was early morning I suspect what you got caught up in was server resetting. We play on a cluster of servers. I think WG reset them - reboot, during the quiet mornings. So they go round resetting a single or group of servers in turn until the whole farm has been done. You start a game on one server for it to start it's reboot, and you get kicked off. You log in WG declare match a draw to be fair on both teams. You start a new battle on a new server, it starts it's reset, and the cycle continues. I used to work for a large retail chain and the same thing used to happen to our night shift workers. We had to reset the servers daily but did them one at a time to maintain a 24/7 service. They knew that they would have to log off and on a few times every night. The only time the whole farm was taken offline was for software updates, as we get on a patch day. However we used to be a bit more graceful in getting people off.

They are prominently an english language speaking server. We are not. Hence they have the time to produce content with more detail. Our guys have to get multi lingual content out in a similar amount of time. That's the way I see it anyway. Also our playerbase seems to be 'better' and hence needs less hand holding (server clash results as proof).. -
You are right try your luck has higher chance. You can get them on other options. My clan mate picked more credits and got a super container with 5,000,000 credits

If you said nothing in chat and were reported multiple times you could submit a support ticket. All chat logs are kept I believe. -
They also have the University corporation (think of it as a clan) which will train you in all game mechanics etc.

Try angling against that sort of HE potential, that's burning and incapacitating all those juicy secondaries, AA mounts and modules on your decks. Add IFHE and it could be a lot of barbecue fun.

As a new player can I throw something into the discussion? Lots of you experienced players started the game at a similar time. You learnt the game together. The best of you built good stats. And here I come a new player keen to learn the game but not rush on up the tiers to get the 'pretty' ships. But I'm being matched against players with 1000's of battles under their belts, who get frustrated at my lack of knowledge as I try to learn, and frequently express their feeling. I'm ok with it I understand their frustration, we all want good games, but how do WG give us that? It's a bit like experienced drivers getting annoyed at the learner in front of them during rush hour..

Been p[laying since march had two supercontainers. 1st was 75000 free xp. My last according to mxStat was on 17th May and was a Defensice AA Fire Mod 1. Fat lot of good to me when my top tier was four at the time. Sold it for 650K which was better than a kick in the teeth,

410 damage. That's over penetration isn't it? Everything I've read about Kirov (not far off getting here myself now so I've been looking at how to play her) says stay at range. Could be you are getting too close to ships with thinner armor. .

Love naval history and history in general. Really just starting out in the game so I have LOTS to learn. And as an Englishman who has come right out and said it, greatly to my credit, (sorry Gilbert and Sullivan pun) Heart of Oak sends shivers down my spine with pride every time I here it. @OP I'm in a similar position too you. As my first premium I bought the Konig Albert T3 German BB. There simply don't appear to be any good premium cruisers at our tier, and the Albert is actually a lot of fun If you want to brawl the US T3 St Louis is pretty good. Slow but good. Also the T4 Karlsruhe can be fun if you play her as Flamu does in a video he posted last year. Get in amongst the DD's and cap use hydro to dodge the torps and negate the smoke and eat DD's with your guns and use your torps too. You will die but you will take a few of them with you.

Killer Whale seems actually very easy, once you understand how the objectives actually work and that only one ship needs to enter the victory zone near the top of the map. Other operations seem like they are 'doable'. The problem isn't so much balance, it's the fact that a normal PvE gameplay style just will not work in this mode. The step change for most PvE players will be too big. My suggestion is not to dumb down the operations, but ramp up the standard PvE battle mode. Instead of facing a mirror image team, use the current MM tier matching rules but only up tier the bots, keep class mirroring and match CV for CV, but everything else can be up tiered. This makes PvE a bit harder and will give slightly higher rewards (by virtue of the existing reward scheme for dmg and kill to a higher tier ship). What to tier up is up to you WG you have all the stats to work it out. If you want you can keep the existing PvE mirror matching as a training mode, but too much battle queue diversification will result too few players in each queue.

Notser has this badly wrong! You don't pay to play, you pay 20 doubloons IF you want to override the 30 min cooldown on taking the same ship into an operation. -
First off, I love the concept of Operations, well done WG. In terms of balance, I'm not sure you have this right yet. Success or failure is very much down to team composition, so it looks like this is a mode for divisions, Random team selection really does not work. People are going to play an operation a couple of times to see how the bots spawn and where they go etc, and then build teams with their friends to complete the mission objectives. If that is how you see this mode working WG then good. If you think this is going to work for the PvE players who choose to play alone or don't have friends who play WOWS then they are going to struggle. Also air superiority seems to play a huge role. Having CV's on a team is a must AND they must be a competent CV player. I think others are seeing the importance of aircraft as I'm now seeing more Cleveland in a team because of her great AA ability. Love Defend Newport Base works well. Aegis. Hmm. I've not won this one yet. Spawning in the west on top of each other and having to move predominately in an eastward direction against a numerically superior force moving north south means you have to present your broadside quite often. Its very hard to get to a position where you can cover the transports from the cruisers than spawn NE on the map towards the end.

I've played since March of this year, and had three super containers so far. I do nothing but Try your Luck. Even got one yesterday on the public test, first container opened.

Played four battles last night from 19:00 BST to 20:25 BST No issues with MM waiting times. At start of 2nd battle 19:28 BST after team was built there was a 58 second wait time for the battle to start. All others were usual 30 second wait. In all battles game 'stuttered' for approx 0.5 seconds as each new attack wave was announced.
