  3. I had the honor last night, in one of my first T6 battles, in my Warspite of meeting @EsaTuunanen on Hotspot, standard battle. He was in his Shiney Horse, defending his base, I had the joy of watching our Fuso drive into an island in the first minute of the battle, and then watch the KGV that was holding our left flank with me stick his nose into an island whilst giving the enemy a stationary broadside. I managed to take 35k off EsaTuunanen before he an NC and an Akatsuki took me down. My team had been deleted in the eastern island group. It was a glorious defeat, and a good learning exercise for me, and I shall keep the replay of the match of a while I think, lots to learn from in that battle.

    Thing is tho Sub_Octavian mentioned in a different Q&A a few weeks ago that cruiser survivabilty at mid to high tiers was a problem and they were working on a solution, God knows what it is, but I hope its sensible. But base don past evidence anything is possible!

    Ok, nothing is gonna happen to USN cruiser range for a while, because of this (see below) from a recent Q&A USN cruisers: if stats showed that a range increase for main guns is necessary they'd do it, some ships may require these buff, but currently they don't want to touch USN cruisers because they're working on the long awaited USN light cruiser line, if that's ready USN cruiser might in general be looked at,

    Didnt that used to happen? but at quiet times there werent enough in the MM q and you only got one or two player T10 teams.

    Id love to see them balance the capital ship classes first through MM before fiddling with the symptoms of the real problem. But that is never going to happen.

    I hope not, if I go broadside I deserve to die. Personally I'd like to see them split the citadel into modules, each with an equal share of the ship HP spread over them. At least then when the rng gods decide you are gonna eat a shell fired from a long range sniper/camper, you wont get insta killed, but go broadside and you deserve to meet Davy Jones in his locker.

    I've got Clemson, just starting on her, but I've been told that Nicholas is the ship to get to give you a feel for what the rest of the line is like. Not sure if thats true or not.

    Fixes that are required for the game to be healthy again.

    Lots in there and all seems to make sense, the bits I can relate to at my level anyway. WG need to fix MM first, then balance after that, tweaking mechanics and adds new ship gimmicks is just addressing the symptoms of the most fundemental problem, imbalanced classes / game changing feature ships due to MM being focused purely on keeping the Q time down.

    In the 6.11 portal notes this is quoted. Nelson, Podvoisky - fixed bugs with some Main Calibre towers. Now, when turning in prohibited areas for shooting, the guns began to circle the ship's elements. While correcting this error, the minimum angles of horizontal guidance of the towers for some ships were revised. This will increase the angles of aiming at close distances - up to 1.6 km. List of ships: Kolberg, Karlsruhe, Yorck, Roon, Hindenburg, Ishizuchi, Atago, ARP Takao, Novik, Bogatyr, Kirov, Dmitry Donskoy, Izyaslav, Kiev, Khabarovsk, New York, Colorado Looks like something got lost in translation. Can somebody explain what the fud they mean? I assume the second bit is about barrel depression when aiming close, but the first bit I'm lost. Thanks in advance
