I saw Flambass play this on his twitch channel over the weekend. He was using the Benson torps. He played one battle and decided in its current loadout, the ship is useless... 55knt torps are too slow to be useful, so she cant be an effective torp boat and reload is too slow with 2 guns, she can't defend herself or be considered a gunboat. Basically as soon as another DD spots you, all you can try and do is run, because you cant defend yourself or fend them off.

I play alot of co-op and frequently use the battle on button if I'm grinding, but I've never been thrown into a random battle this way. The only way it happens to me , as other have already said, is if you hit continue mission. That's the only way I've seen the player selected battle mode overridden.

Amd WT is bringing ships to the game starting with Italian and RN light cruisers

And of course it changes slightly when the US cruiser split comes in, I believe.

Best advice I can give you ... 1 - Go slow and steady up the tiers, spend time in the low mid tiers to learn the game and meta. Don't free XP past anything, every ship can teach you something about the game and how you play. 2 - Div up with as many people as you can to gain knowledge from their experience. 3 - Learn and realize what your play style actually is, and accept it, don't try to force yourself into a play style, because others say that is how you must play. 4 - Play ships and classes that suit your style, once you find it. 5 - Turn on replays, and watch your defeats again more than your wins. By looking at your lost battles you will be able to learn where you went wrong, or what you could have done better. 6 - Most important of all - have fun and enjoy WoWS, don't get ragey or arsey when you have a poor streak, we all have them, its part of the experience.

Having played many battles with @mcgoldrick1991 as a clan mate, I can say he is a good guy, and anyone joining his clan will have alot of fun.

Take the credits and XP and move on.

Time for WG to force divs to be same tier ships then.

Basically what you can see - the white cone on the mini map - is increased by 20%, so you see spotted enemies at a greater distance. The mod does not affect enemy ships concealment values. At least thats the way I understand the module works.

This is so easy to achieve, Don't reward failure. A player can lose every battle they play in a ship and still - all be it over more battles and time - progress up to the next tier

Its just like randoms all on one flank, happens on this map sometimes. What you can be sure of on this map however is that at least two bots will always travel down the center channel, giving you easy kills if you wait to ambush them. Then you will see where the rest of the bots have gone, and can easily move to that flank to mop up.

And I thought the point of testing was to find things like this.
