I totally agree play it and learn, but when the low level ship guides we have talk about mechanics that don't work the way quoted, it's feeding misinformation to the community. Case in point I watched a guide from Flamu just the other day on US DD play where he was going on about stealth firing, and spotting mechanics. People watching and listening to that guide will have completely the wrong idea of how spotting and detection now works. The game has moved on so should the guides we have.

Yes we do. All the ship guides are at least 1 to 2 years old and the game has moved on. new players need the CC's to show them the skills they need to learn to progress. The argument I keep hearing is' we don't want to seal club', Screw that play some low tiers and get some low to mid tier game play guides out there. plus as has already been said - low to mid tier is sooo much fun to play.

More importantly, what will be the new lines trait? If it's RN DD's what is going to be their playstyle?

My only alarm bell with this whole thing is that people with deep pockets - they bought shed loads of containers, each one giving 10 oil - will get shed loads of coal. This actually makes container purchasing a double win, get the contents plus get coal (via the conversion) to buy even more consumables and goodies.

^THIS^ Also I'd add that a 3 man div made up of ships that complement each other, can be a factor. Choosing three ships that cover all the consumables and fill in the weaknesses found in each other, leads to a balanced fighting force, which is coordinated in their actions. If the MM would balance AA,Radar, and Hydro across teams, we would all have better matches. The only time I think divs are an issue is when I see 2 divs on one team and none on the other, I cant see why the MM doesn't take this into account and simply move one div to the other team, especially since we now have class/tier balancing.

Until we have better inventory management in the game I suggest a post it note stuck to the side or your desk is your best bet.

We have BC's already in the BB tree's except of course the RU tree where they are cruisers, because of 'reasons'
