That requires a small amount of intelligence and skill TBH I'll actually be suprised if the average Derpitz driver will even notice. They are probably still wondering what that line is on the minimap that points out of their current target. It appeared after the last update so it must be a bug, right? Or maybe they need to upgrade their graphics drivers.

Tier 7 definitely feels like a sweet spot a the moment. T8 is a massive step change with all the T9 / 10 's. It's a step change I'm not used too at all at the moment, but grinding T7's atm that I want to take to T10 so I'm gonna have to put my big boy pants on, and step up to he challenge.

The OP's suggestion would work if WG simply gave players with say fewer than a few hundred battles protected MM in those tiers. The seal clubbers wouldn't be able to scare them anyway then. We could have some WW1 and dreadnought based Operations.

We in clan think they did a quick dirty implementation and used the Obscurer code around smoke. So Is target obsecured by smoke or island = yes, ok any hydro or radar in range override it and render. It's not tied into the line of sight code at all

So would I, the problem is I don't think it's as easy as everybody thinks. In fact in order to implement and have radar work properly i.e dependant on Line of Sight I think is quiet alot of work for WG and they have other priorities at the moment

WG have tried several things to break the campy meta, that now appears to exists at all tiers. So far nothing has worked, the player base has learnt and adapted and changed game play to maintain earnings (XP and credits). Hopefully WG will soon realise that the only way to effectively get players to change the way they play and be more aggressive and less campy is by changing the reward system to reflect a greater emphasis on team play and achieving the battle mode objectives. Of course thats not going to happen anytime soon, especially with the CV rework and AA changes that are coming at some point this year.

Those are quiet server times, so to try and boost the server population they time gate the rewards
