Welcome to our clan @StalkerSoC
-
Because WG wont adjust the MM for a single cluster, they will only change it if ihere is an issue across all regions.
-
And you now no CV will be touched until the rework is finished
-
You do know WG are still working on MM changes right? They gave us mirrored MM, a few patches ago ans said they were looking at further improvements. And yes they could apply the balance changes you ask for, but queue times would increase, particularly at non peak times. And the big thing WG keep the MM process doing, is getting people into matches as quickly as possible

Hi Stalker, Sorry for the delay, been a busy weekend in the real world. I'll send you a private message later today, once I've sorted you a place :-).

The ships are the price they are to ensure you don't rush up the tiers too quickly. Yes it's a pain in the bum, I never have any credits at the moment, and I have ships fully researched and unlocked the next tier but I cant afford to buy. Hell I even have Atago sat in my port which I bought in the summer sale (with 3 other premiums) which has no modules fitted because I don't have the credits to kit her out. But .... There is a reason, I'm a casual player, and don't have marathon gaming sessions. You earn credits by playing more. And more battles equals more experience and learning - or at least it should. If you want more credits, play more and play premium ships in the tiers 7 & 8 to maximise your earning. Mount the camos with the best credit multipliers, and use the economic flags available, and you can start to make a decent amount of silver. Another good credit earner is playing Operations, especially if you go out in a full clan division, and mount camo and flags, you really can make alot of money quite quickly. Or if you cannot wait, spend some hard cash and buy one of the credit chests available in the premium shop.

Ok that is sort of what I expected, as it does make a lot of sense. Thank you for responding

I think most people just remember those games where - OMG I'm the only T8 in a T10 game. Being bottom tier just means you have to be more cautious and play more conservatively. That goes against some peoples preferred aggressive play style. Personaly I just play more aggressively when I'm top tier, and conservatively when I'm bottom tier. But I also adapt my game depending on my team and the enemy,

And the longer you stay in your headless clan the more oil you are wasting, that you could be earning and building up the benefits of in your own clan. And forget the clan recruitment is difficult, comments at the moment. If you create a clan and it offers an experience that players want or need, then you will expand easily. A clan is basically a 'brand name', make it something enough players want and they will come to you. Advertising and marketing are your friends when it comes to recruitment.

I have been that cruiser. My fingers hurt from all the WASD haxing
-
Also is that study specific to the EU cluster? You need to look at whats happening on all clusters and compare the results.

#stopfusouabuse (but not in the way u think)

So what's the point of your post? I don't understand. If you were detonated, you get 10 flags for a reason, use them, or face getting detonated again. It's not just shells that can detonate you, a lucky torp hit can cause enough splash damage to detonate a magazine too. -
Is it in your inventory? Or when you demounted it did you sell it, instead of paying gold to keep it?
-
Not sure I have a cursed ship - but I have ships I've never learned or adapted too. Blessed ships, Wyoming and Nurnburg - I just feel so comfortable in them. Although I have to say atm the whole German Cruiser line I love - even Yorck with it's terrible gun arcs - although I just ground through her as quickly as possible, hence my crap WR in her.

Let them go off the map, but they cant shoot, spot or do anything to contribute to their team. After 30 sec's off map, start applying a negative multiplier to their Xp and credit earnings, all the way to zero if needed, and if still there after a minute give them an achievement ' White Feather'; for cowadice in the face of the enemy, and turn them white for the next 'X' battles. Similar to pink status for team damage / killing.

Au revoir, you old standalone launcher. The "Wargaming Game Center" will be forced upon us all in the near future
Fat_Maniac replied to MrFingers's topic in General Discussion
The thing is, most people simply don't for whatever reason, do what you do. That in no way means what you do is wrong, It fact it's probably a very secure way of dealing with the outside world, and yes everyone is free to do as they wish. The problem is WG are catering for the masses. On this we can most definitely agree. I'm afraid WG's reputation precedes them yet again. -

And if you planned in the future as an organisation, say to consolidate your servers, into say 1 world wide cluster, but to have regional specific marketing, how would you do it? This would be a logical step along that road. If you needed or wanted to do it, having a common Game Center makes that task much much easier. -

So do you complain to Steam and Twitch too? And as for hefty premium offers, the game is free nobody makes you spend cash to play WoWS, that is something you chose to do. Alot of the cash we give them goes right back into the game as continued development, and in maintaining the servers that we play on for absolutely no cash. If we had to pay a monthly subscription fee I could understand and support what you are saying. There are some free games/ etc on steam, but in the most part you have to pay cash to play the games on there -

It's called consolidation. If you have a launcher / updater that covers all your products, you only have one application to maintain, and you enforce common working practices and procedures, under your Service Delivery Umbrella. In short it's cheaper and cost effective, as its easier (less effort) to deliver patches. -

I must admit, WoT and Arena patches seem to have a heavier impact on my modest 8Gb rig. You do know that you can pause those updates, from the center to, under the 'Queue of WarGaming.net game center processes' tab. You can play WoWS without issue and then restart those updates when your PC is free. -

You can tell the center not to auto update your titles. You can tell the center not to pre load patches ready for you to update when you want to. You can tell the center to reduce computer load during update. The center gives you the ability to manage how and when you receive your updates and when you install them. As for RAM eating, it's no more RAM hungry than the old launcher when it patches the game. I'm sorry, but I really don't see what the problems are, -
Ahh but .... WG allow any clan to change it's tag and name. Tag change costs 2500 gold, and the tag must never have used before anywhere, even if that tag is currently not used by anyone anywhere, name is free but same as tag it must never have been used anywhere before ever. Player name changes also cost 2500, but as long as name is currently not used yuo can take it, even if it has been used somewhere before. I can understand the logic of clan names to a point - say OMNI abandon the tag, somebody else could take it, and people might think it's the original OMNI clan, but the same can be said of player names. Why is one allowed but the other not.
-
@MrConwayhow come players can reuse names, but clans are not allowed to switch tags or names across a caln group. When I tried this I was told by support a clan name and tag could only ever be used once and if changed to something else they were gone forever. Surely it;s the same principle with player names . If player A, JoeBloggs changes his name to DaveJonesm and another player B called FredSmith who does not know player A in any form decides to change his name to JoeBloggs, why is that allowed but large clans with multiple tags are not allowed to swap there tag names around ?

Everything I've read so far, is talking about engaging a single target whilst withdrawing. A raider would most likely meet multiple hostiles, Either the task force sent to intercept it, or the multiple escorts tied to a convoy.

What is the point of the GO NAVY competition
Fat_Maniac replied to it3llig3nc3's topic in General Discussion
This whole event plus the daily rewards for playing we've had last month and starting again today, and the Indy Marathon all suggest WG's strategy is about getting us to play more AND on a daily basis.
