Hell yes !!! I started playing nearly 2 years ago and wouldn't start CV's because there was going to be a rework. I couldn't see the point of learning the class if it was all going to be changed. I've tried CV's on the PTS, and I can't wait to start learning them on live.

Basically everyone gets them when CB is on, and you complete the mission criteria by playing a T8 plus battle. I always assume it is so if you do join a clan you don't have to wait to start CB if they allow you too.

Don't get me wrong. I think WG have made a right royal mess of this, and the issue has been bubbling since before I started this game almost 2 years ago. I'm just hoping that they get this right, because they can see what impact getting it wrong will have. Get it wrong and lots of players will walk. For that reason and that reason alone I'm trying to stay positive

And the issue was they new it was going to be a huge game changer and would piss people off. They didn't know what to do or were terrified to do it. The only reason we have a rework is that when Blitz dev started, WG had 2 stark choices, rework CV's and drop the RTS interface, or drop CV's altogether from the game.

If you fire torps from 2nd or 3rd line and you force a friendly to have to turn and expose his broadside, that's your fault. You should be aware of your team and want they are likely to do. Not turning and taking a friendly torp is a lot better than and more survivable than turning and exposing broadside to be citadelled to death in one salvo. What I do see sometimes, is torps fired from the 2nd line and a friendly ahead deliberately turning into them, sometimes because they have yolo'd ahead and are going to die anyway, and sometimes just to be tw@t. Also happens if yo have a face full of reds and you have your hands full. The last thing you expect is someone to torp from behind because once fired a torp is nobody's friend, hence the saying "your Torps. your responsibility".

Wow, so much hate going on here. Understandable but .... WG know CV's and AA under the rework are NOT balanced. They have stated as much, but people seem to to forget this, Everyone is talking about the balance we see now. But that is not going to be the final delivered result. 0.8.0 delivers the core CV and AA mechanics, that WG want to introduce, but it won't be balanced. Over the next few months, as real gameplay data is collected, balancing will be done. WG have said this. So, It's going to be painful, It's going to be stressful. But there is still a lot more work to come on the CV rework after 0.8.0 lands

You don't even have to do a fresh install. Win10 will let you do the equivalent of a factory reset, you lose all data and apps. Then you can install your GPU drivers and install all your games again.

Ulcer's and high blood pressure, not sure about PTSD.

Try removing any mods you have installed. If that doesn't help. check your client integrity. And of course make sure all your drivers are up to date.

I think some are marketing campaigns as well. So if you haven't spent anything in the premium store for a while they can be triggered. The really annoying bit for me, is when they say - can only be redeemed on selected purchases, but the shop does'nt tell you what counts until you actually start the payment process.

Yup happens here as well if commander is changed or a new div created the game defaults to Alpha team. Annoying as hell.

I'd say try all the lines up to T6 at least. USN are slow upto T8 when their game play changes. I curently have NC KM dispersion is annoying and you have to try to get into your enemy more before you get consistent damage Again I have the T8 Bismark. RN's have the infamous HE but AP is suprising if you use it a the right times. The Frenchies are fast, but armour is suspect. I'm only on T5 but damn her guns hit really hard.

Mine have tied in with game start anniversary dates. So I got one after a year.

More changes to the MM are planned to help T8. The biggest would appear to be turning the MM on it's head so that it builds T8 matches first. Currently the MM builds matches around T10s as historically there weren't that many of them about and queue times were long. Since we have lots of T10's now, the MM is pulling T8's in to regularly. WG hope that building matches around T8's in the queue will give a more banced spread of +/- 2 games.

As I'm a Bismark owner with a 12pt captain I'd say go IJN. Bismark in the current meta and MM doesn't cope well at T10 at all

Your fish are rotten dude - land one or more torps on an enemy before they have a chance to arm. Deep Sea fishing - launch DW torps at a targeted DD, and have at least one pass under the intended target.

Bismark sucks if you are in a T10 game, it's really hard to get yourself close enough to brawl without being spotted, and in a T10 game it's hard to provide fire support from range with your dispersion. And I think she is suffering a bit from power creep.

New comers get protected MM. And when WG give away and sell premium ships in those tiers, why can't experienced players use them? The counter argument is that new comers shouldn't be allowed to buy a high tier premium until they are experienced. But I don't hear any new comer complaining about not being able to play in a shiny T8 boat and failing

Ok example from me. I just bought stock New Orleans T7 Until I have all the modules fitted I just play her in co-op to get a feel for her abilities etc. I've done 3 battles in Random all losses but by then mounting the special flags for XP and credits, I'm already close to getting the B Hull and range upgrade.

Give us a balanced MM in general first, i;e don't put 3 or 4 radar boats on one team and leave the other team with none or 1. Balance the ships and their abilities first, then we can worry about the players.

So another SC yesterday. 15k Coal. Makes a change my previous 3 SC's were all 50 Halloween camo's. Thats 4 SC's gained in as many months. But even with SC's and Santa crates, that I have bought or gained through missions / directives, I have never ever gotten a ship, in the almost 2 years I've played the game.
