Can someone explain something for me please. I've just logged into game and received a notification that I've been awarded the Junior Collectors Emblem. I checked the description and it says its awarded for having 100 ships in port. I have no filters on my ships on the carousel so everything should be visible, yet the game tells me I have 96 ships. I counted them as well and yup it's 96. So how can I have been awarded the Emblem? Either I have 4 ships hiding somewhere, or the game has glitched. Last new ship I got was yesterday when I unlocked a silver T5.

With that many ships how do you decide what to play? I'd be like a kid in a sweet shop.

Will this do ? Not just a whale, a spouting whale, for those who buy nothing but Admiral Packs.

Checked all that and nothing.

Funny you should mention Thunderer. A few days ago a couple of clanmates and I decided to see what we could play as a counter to the campy meta. 3 Thunderers pushing on a flank worked remarkably well. Before anyone says it, the whole match we fired mostly AP, something the red team definitely didn't expect. 2 Yamato and a Shikishima worked well too. The campy meta can be broken/countered it just takes a bit of teamwork, which is sadly lacking these days. -

I think WG know the return on this is gonna be small, and have priced it to cover the large licencing fees they will have paid for the image rights -

42k dubs? Really WG. -
Probably because WG could do this give it a new name and sell it for money.

wargaming you cant be serious now Balance Changes for old Premium Ships its coming
Fat_Maniac replied to KamiKatze_Streamer's topic in General Discussion
Absolutely agree. I used to work for major high street retailer. Customer Service was key to success. I remember a conference or course we did where we were told word of mouth was very important. One person telling you they got good service was likely to have them recommend your company/product to a couple of friends at least. On the flip side a customer having a bad experience was likely to tell up to 25 people. People like to complain and tell others of their bad experiences. In this internet connected world that sharing can now reach a global audience very quickly. In terms of changes to old prem boats. Its more likely they need to be buffed, to make them viable again given the power creep we have, except of course for the OP boats removed from sale because 'they were too popular', they will probably be reintroduced with nerfs in an effort to drive sales for the new players who don't have them. Nice for new players, bad for those of us who have stuck with WoWS. -

But they did tell you and they do have the right. The terms and conditions in the EULA have always said, WG reserve the right to remove or change all content at any time at their discretion. It might not be best customer satisfaction to do it, but they can if they want too. -
What I can't work out is. With all the sub 50% players we are seeing more of, who is actually gaining? A lose for one player is a win for another, so someone's WR must be increasing. Everyone can't lose, the worst we could all end up with is a straight 50% WR

How to get twitch containers if they don't arrive automatically
Fat_Maniac replied to SeehundChrille's topic in General Discussion
We have regular issues at the moment with twitch rewards arriving. For me it can take up to 48 hours for one to arrive in game. I think once you have collected all 14 free KM DD rewards the panel disappears. It certainly has for me since I collected all 14. Also don't forget to collect your free daily rewards (assuming they aren't locked behind you needing to be a certain account level before you see them). -
"new Adjustment Firing mechanic"/"Superbattleship Event"
Fat_Maniac replied to MrWastee's topic in General Discussion
Lots of things that have made it into the random game, were tried in special events first. Submarines for example are a work in progress of that. Don't mind if super BB's come, but as long as they come at higher tier like the T11/12 concept that was discussed on a dev live stream last year. Please lets not have them for T8/9 to face, with so many big calibre overmatching ships out there already we don't need more, in those tiers. -

If WG could just balance radars and hydro, that would be a good start.

We the players have a huge part to play in that. WG give us new toys (some clearly OP, some not), we (well the sheep & potatoes actually) then try and find new and novel ways to force them to work in the campy static meta. WG try to give us a toy designed to be played with a particular playstyle, but since most of the player base only understands one playstyle - they have to play BB, shooting HE from max range, whilst camped, nothing ever really changes. Players with a brain cell know different playstyles exist, can work and give good results if you take the time to learn the game and its mechanics. Such a shame WG don't try and enforce that more, and provide game guide video's for new boats themselves. Instead they leave it to the CC's who (the ones with big followings mostly) play with the toys to make themselves look good to their audience.

On live stream, I just asked @MrConway how we will be awarded the anti detonation flags after encountered that fun and engaging mechanic. With the new achievement system, how will detonations work. We used to get the 10 flags straight away. Do we now have to complete a mission and risk detonation again to get the reward? His answer ... Simply go to the armoury and buy detonation flags for coal, and you will never have to detonate again. So basically you want me to pay to avoid the fun and engaging mechanic that everyone hates. I can see the benefit of buying the flags for competitive modes, but for casual fun I don't like the idea of another 'micro transaction'. Just getting the 10 flags was enough to guarantee 10 det free battles and was ok. What do you all think?

[Poll] Did you receive the WG e-mail with Bonus code (= 5 Containers)?

Got my code too. Looks like it was sent about 5pm Yesterday (UK time) -
So is this the future of not detonating?
Fat_Maniac replied to Fat_Maniac's topic in General Discussion
Well we all just got 14 days premium time https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/general-news/14-days-of-premium-account/ And it looks like an email has splashed out 5 free collection containers. Add in finally nerfing ships we have called OP. Is this WG finally admitting they got some things wrong, or is it because revenue is actually starting to fall, people spending less or leaving the game? -

From people who via the CC program get a shed load of free stuff themselves every month, including a battle reward earnings modifier. Lets not forget the free stuff to give away too us to encourage us to watch their streams. -

OMG WG!! ... What Are You Doing?!!!
Fat_Maniac replied to VeteranGamer84's topic in General Discussion
Read the small print in the terms and conditions . WG reserve the right to change anything at anytime. The game is not static and is changing all the time, so the content has to change as well. Investing time or a considerable amount of money is a risk in a game like this. I agree with you it's frustrating to have invested time and cash, only then to see the thing you have earned nerfed. From a customer point of view it doesn't look very good, until you release the game is constantly evolving and changing, mostly to keep us spending. What you are experiencing here is very similar to what happens to every silver line you grind. You invest time and maybe some money to get to your chosen T10 or favourite boat along the line only to see it being powercrept out of the game and meta over time, by ever increasingly more current meta relevant premiums and silver lines, with additional toys and features.- 109 replies
