I've been helping a lot of players on NA improve their DD play, or deal with meta shifts that make things difficult, like the US CL spam, CVs post 8.0 and just about any ship I see guys asking questions about, or maybe just each guys what I have learned from around two years of playing DD for top 10 clans. I had a minute to stop by EU and saw this thread and thought maybe I can help. I took my TRB Kagero out trolling for CVs to try to help a couple guys that had commented how hard the boat was to play. One of the lessons I talk about is positioning, and how to do it on the fly by using your concealment circle on the mini map. This gives you a pretty decent idea where your allies AA is located. Ideally position with ships on either side, so a CV has to deal with AA on both sides of the attack run. I dont post often here, not sure why I cant embed the video, but heres a link.
