With the new MM you still can get both situations you referred. The thing is that you won't get a team with 2 DDs an other with 3 DDs with the team with 2 havint one TX and one T9 and the other having all TX. They will be equally in number and tier, but still can end up with a team with 2 gearing and 1 Z52 an the other with 3 shimas...

Are you telling me that when you try to change the aspect of a captain you get a school girl or a space captain? This is new for me... In other order of things, space captains are related to a temporary event for april fools and they will dissapear. The school girls are related to events that you can't avoid doing completing. They are in the game because some colaborations that allowed WG to promote world of warships and increase the playerbase (increasing the playerbase of WOWs is very important, look the amount of effort they are doing with their YT channel, for example). Also, with update 0.7.4 you'll be able to sell all these captains and also their related ships and not see them anymore.

I don't thinks so. Also, during that era I doubt that there was any black captain on any world Navy. I googled a little bit and on US Navy, during WWII only a destroyer and a submarine had crew compossed largely by african american and is not stated that their captains were african american... so this could be the main reason why you do not found any on the game.

As no date has been anounced yet, I guess it will be soon, but coubt of 0.7.5 as at leas worchester has not been tested in live server yet. However, as they announced on the new Youtube series "Waterline" the update release will change from 3 to 4 weeks, so still can be possible that 0.7.5 will include the split. Also, on the same videos, they explained that the split will be handled similarly to the RU DD line split.

Campbeltown and Gallant where pulled out of premium shop and tech tree as lots of other ships of other nations. They will come eventually as WG decided that instead of having all the ships available to purchase, left less available and change them periodically. Cossack has not been released yet (it had 2 live tests until now). The main DD Line should appear this year unless WG decides to change their plans.

I have Amazon prime and had the twitch port (activated all with the Kappa captain promo). Then, with the last patch I changed my port for the space port and it remained as it until I changed it again. So at least doesn't seem a generic error with twitch port. Send a ticket to WG support or put it at the bugs section at current update subforum.

I'm dissapointed to be honest. I was expecting more T8 premiums with discounts and we only got 3. The only one that could be useful for me right now is Pinz Eugen because I'm grinding the KM CA line. But I'll prefer to have Scharnhorst and use it to train both BB and CA captains. So I'll wait until Tirpitz gets a discount or Scharnhorst comes back to the shop.

OP, I like the idea, but has lots of issues to be implemented in game. These are the points i'm thinking of about your idea (some are pointing issues, others Having moving icebergs could be interesting. But as their movement needs to be random in order to avoid learning the paterns and take advantage of that is necessary. Having random moving icebergs could potentially affect the balance of the map. All the points that Icebergs and Icemases you listed should do puts a lot of processing effort on servers (specifically ability to pack and break). Agree with @El2aZeR about not using this map on competitive game modes (Ranked, CW and Tournaments). Iceberg colisions should cause floods. This could be a good place to test if viable. Also, I think that it's the best game mode where moving icebergs could work as intended.

I did not thought that these captains could be used to farm Elite Commander XP... This changes my opinion about playing space battles.

You calculated HE but not AP salvos. If you add them to the data then you can see why shooting HE over AP on FR BB is worst than doing it on UK BB. Alsace max potential damage per salvo: AP: 142800 HP HE: 62100 HP Lion max potential damage per salvo: AP: 113400 HP HE: 59400 HP HE damage difference between them is 2700 HP favouring Alsace. However, Lion still has a 10% fire change advantage and slightly better penetration values. AP damage difference between them is 29400 HP favouring Alsace. However, Lion should have more penetrations on bow on enemies. If we took AP vs HE for each ship, you can notice that AP on Alsace can deal 80700 HP more damage per salvo. However, Lion AP can "only" deal 54000 HP more damage. Lastly, As @Commander_Cornflakes stated. The fire chance calculations you made where incorrect.

Well, If someone starts spamming HE with a FR BB because my comment, then its a potato far beyond I'm right now. What I wanted to point is that you need to choose wisely your targets not that you should spam HE. Although, we all can agree that a BB should shoot HE in some points (all enemy ships are properly angled or only surviving ships on enemy team are DDs...).

I've been watching Flambass playing it and seems correct. Yes, he is an unicum player, but he really likes it. The issue with Alsace and most of the french BBs is that their gun caliber is the worst among same tier BBs so they cannot penetrate so relliably. So with French BBs you really need to shot AP only to broadside targets.

Well, guess I'm lucky. Yesterday completed the last mission of the second part of Vive le France. With the 7 containers I've received I got 2 missions for French BBs, Bretagne and Normandie. So I'm very happy about it. Also completed the collection to get the french captain :)

Yes, you get XP for assisting on capping and also you got XP for this other things like these: reseting caps (When a ship is trying to cap, if you hit him he'll loose 50% of capped points). Damage upon your spotting (on BBs , this tends to be very low to none). Potential damage (all the incoming shells, bombs and torps that are aimed to you but not hit you).

There's a future T7 DD, Cossack, and as far as I know, still work in progress. About the DD line, I cannot provide any information as I'm not able to remember is something appeared.
