There is a whole list of ships that have been brutally powercrept. It could go on. Honorable mentions: - Mid-Tier premium light cruisers like the Ducas, De Grasse, Boise. They got hit hard with the IFHE nerf for no reason. Many times they just don't do damage when uptiered. - Graf Zeppelin, Indomitable, and Saipan. Those ships need a rework.

Just today i stumbled on the CapnFox video where he calculates the actual odds. While he is limited to only his own boxes, he still makes a fascinating point: The surprising thing is, WG is not lying about the odds. It's just that having few boxes to open will skew the results, so people opening only a few boxes will have pretty bad results on average (30% chance for camos and 40% chance for signals). For whales though the odds even themselves out.

They were selling a steel campaign back when Prinz Eitel Friedrich was the Christmas boat. So? WG is a business, they want to make a profit. And as one of the CMs said, giving steel for having all the ships in the port is a "thank you" to the whales who support WG with their money.

Well, TeamKrado says it in the vid, new players should expect lower tier premiums to drop. But pulling a Kidd and Indomitable isn't that bad, besides the load of mid tiers. PS: He opened 100 mega boxes for a veteran player and pulled a lot of high tiers.

There are three possibilities here that led you to this conclusion: First, you are new here and don't understand the community's history with WG and Christmas boxes. Second, you simply lack a sense of humor. You are being mistaken for a German in daily life. Petro has an incredibly low freeboard, which negates a lot of hits. It has 220mm guns that have the values of 380mm guns. It has 360 degree turret rotation. It's a badly balanced ship with too many strengths.

Well, WG says there is no shortlist. And I believe that. Here's why: First, the odds have been published together with an important news that the ship list is divided into 3 lists with varying roll chances. This means that getting a real rare ship is just 1% out of the Mega box, 0,5% from medium. The typical Joe Average will roll on the T5-7 list and get a ship there. The "short" list is the 61 mid-tier premium list. Only whales like me can expect rare drops on the reg. Second, as Flamu said yesterday, WG doesn't want to piss off people with hidden stuff. They have had enough "miscommunications". Now that every percentage is in the open, WG can earn goodwill from the players. Anyone complaining about getting bad drops can be pointed towards the odds and told he's at fault for high expectations. Third, the general communication about the boxes from CMs has been very honest. They are surprisingly frank. Just look at @Seraphice feed, he's been talking about this without the typical WG runaround from the last few years. This looks like they just put out everything in the open, it's on you if you are disappointed.

Everyone, please give what you can, so that WG can shave the children. PS: The bundle in the shop is really nice.

Not gonna lie, this is one hell of a drop for free small boxes. Belfast alone would make it awesome. But you also got an Exeter too. Congratulations.

Finally summed my boxes up. 80 boxes. 50/50 large and medium. -11 ships, including Groeningen and Salem. -60k coal. -9500 dubs. -~600 assorted camos. -705 special signals. The one ship I wanted, Tone, has not dropped. The ship I really wanted, Chkalov, was not on the list this year.

The game does not a have a cursor lock in port. Missed that one, in battle the game locks the cursor if in windowed mode.

Even those from previous years? On a more serious note, I whaled this year, and I'm not finished tallying up. But I got some good stuff. The drop rate of camos was a bit higher than last year, at least the felt rate. Didn't get any premium time. Was a victim of the pity drop in one pack I bought. And the ship I most wanted wasn't in. The Chkalov. PS: Only buy the boxes if you can afford it and want to support the game.

Expected something, anything, got garbage instead. Typical WG.

The gimmick is that the main battery is accurate with bad sigma, and the secondaries have a fast reload and good range. You pay for it with durability. @totally_potatohas a good build, although for 1p I'd take the better fire chance. But it's a question of taste. That's what the fast DCP is for. And you should always use your concealment to avoid being focused so hard that you have 4 fires.

Zieten is not garbage, she is ugly though. The ship exemplifies the need for captain skills on the German BCs. You need 18p for a working build. You need the heals and the concealment, besides the secondary accuracy. And even then the ship requires a smart player who will not yolo in but try to ambush and flank.
