Sęk w tym że gracze podchodzą to każdego trybu w grze z podejściem "co mi to daje?". Homo oeconomicus się kłania. W wypadku brutalnej walki sama unikalna mechanika nie wystarcza. Każdy gracz inwestuje czas w grę i oczekuje że przynajmniej będzie się dobrze bawił. Jak widać powyżej Brutalna Walka nie oferuje wystarczającej rozrywki żeby być warta świeczki. Żeby zachęcić graczy do grania w taki tryb należałoby albo: -Zmienić tryb tak żeby był bardziej rozrywkowy lub -Zaoferować graczom coś w zamian. Wargaming wybiera opcję trzecią, usuwa zachętę do grania obniżając nagrody w porównaniu do poprzednich edycji (vide Hill/Benham). Nic dziwnego że ludzie narzekają. A można też lepiej. Przykładowo tryb rankingów, w którym dobrzy gracze muszą "wytrzymać" drużyny złożone z kompletnych kartoflarzy. W zamian za to dostają stal, dublony, dobre kamuflaże. Ja sam poprzednią wersję rankingów miałem w poszanowaniu, i to głębokim. Raz na dwa miesiące do rangi 10 po flagę i koniec. Teraz próbuje co dwa tygodnie regularnie przynajmniej wszystkie nagrody za zwycięstwa zdobyć. Wargaming pokazał że może, tylko teraz tylko widzimy że idziemy w odwrotnym kierunku. PS: Tak na boku, Wargaming to przykład homo sovieticus w formie zakładowej.

What will happen is that they will swear up and down that nothing will change, this year. When they have T11 ships for most lines then they will move the goalposts, reducing the T8 rewards to what we now have on T7, giving T10 ships the T9 rewards, and moving the T10 rewards to T11. People who will call them out will be warned or banned. And the posts where they promised it, will disappear. You must be new here. WG will never miss a chance to short change their player base. Sadly.

Let me paraphrase: "We have heard your concerns about excessive CV spotting and decided to nerf ship concealment against airplanes even more. This way CVs can spot surface ships even easier. Don't worry about his being balanced, we made sure to give CV players tools to counteract any issue that might pop up." WG just proves they hate the player base.

I'd love to have the Dido as a Minitaur. Or at least made more similar to other RN CLs. It's clear that Dido is just a copy & paste job with small changes, so it's not identical to Rahmat.

Looking at the ships announced and their initial stats? I would have preferred the napkin designs.

We will see some very real paper napkin Soviet designs, that outclass any ship built in real world. Mark my words.

Nope, the values for accuracy are identical.

But I can, as my favorite class are cruisers. With Canarias you get a ship that works out of the box. It's not inherently weak. It has decent concealment even without CE. The range is good and you can perform in it even with a basic 3p captain. You are forced to stay at range, but you can utilize your speed to do that. You keep kiting. With Dido the opposite is true. You are effectively trying to fight your boat first and then the enemy. The short smoke sucks, because combined with the second worst light cruiser reload at tier you barely can shoot anyone. You have no HE pen thanks to low caliber guns. And your shells are floaty as hell. Your AA is garbage while being an AA specialized ship. Canarias is an average and uninspiring premium, but Dido is firmly in the box stuffing garbage category.

I've spent some ranked dubs to get both ships. The Canary isn't great but it's not bad, and it offers a decent experience at T6. Pretty unique too. Dido is an overnerfed piece of $hit that I obtained only to prevent it from dropping on Christmas.

That's more than underwhelming, especially for such an expensive container. I'm happy I didn't go for them.
