Indeed, I used the sheet linked on the devblog to calculate my "bonuses". What came out was complete gibberish that told me one thing, I will be left with a load of useless low number bonuses. What will never change is the willingness of WG to lie and cheat the player base out of a good experience. Blasphemy, paradox games are fun.

The economic bonuses will all be taken away and converted into 4 categories of bonuses: -Credit -XP -Commander XP -Free XP You will be only able to take 1 type of bonus per category. Say goodbye to flexibility and hello to lower rewards.

No it means that you buy the economic bonuses first for 4800 dubs for a T10, and then the optics for whatever the old price was -4800 dubs. So a Type 20 will cost 4800 dubs for economy and 200 dubs for the optics. Bingo, while WG blathers on how generous they are, the economy will be hardcapped to kill off the maximum results from good games. Players will be forced to play more for less. Typical greedy behavior from people who want to remove fun from entertainment.

Seeing as all of the camos won't have any economic bonuses, I'd say the basic patterns will look really nice on many ships. Much better than some of the other camos in the game.

Why do you think they would treat such camos any different? Right now there's no difference between a bought perma camo and a reward perma camo. Looks like my Roma will enjoy a permanent +45% credit bonus and a +100% XP bonus, +100% commander XP, +100% free XP, from the Kobayashi camo. That's much better than what Missouri will have. Nice.

They are, at mid-tiers, boring by design. They could use some love T7 and lower.

Worse. The ship is bigger and easier to hit, the larger HP pool means you lose more HP to fire per tick. The concealment is also worse. So if you push you will get ganked faster.

I tested some of them that were interesting to me - Hannover, Zorkiy, Annapolis. Back when the ships were loaners. Realized they aren't really great and I'm not bothering with the farce. The economy of those ships makes them really unappealing to me.

Let me tell you a DolphinPrincess story: Back before the skill rework DolphinPrincess posted a Grozovoi guide, tailored around his skill level. The effects were tragic, people without PM and SE in their Grozos getting ganked. Why? Because the guide was tailored for super unicums. The average root vegetable did not have the skill to play it accordingly. So unless @Puffin_ is a super unicum CV player, their experience in the Shokaku will be diametrically different than yours. PS: Proships has Shokaku at second place after Enty among superunicums. That's 23 and 21 players for each ship. Compared to 1940 Chkalov players and 2516 Kaga players in total.

Depends what player is behind the wheel. On average Chkalov and Kaga dominate WR/damage comparisons according to proships.
