I bought the Belfast, mostly because of the price tag. Rebought the Blys for dubloons and bought the Aurora with it (I would never have bought it full price). Skipped rebuying the Dunkek, hoped for a better deal. The ending of this sale is really disappointing, as I was ready to pay a bundle for something interesting like the Okhotnik or a solid ship like the Arizona.

It seems to me that WG is working hard to sink the whole game.

I think there are a lot of people like you, who have waited for something special and now won't be spending money on WG. This is a massive marketing/business failure and there is no excuse for that. WG is, for reasons unknown, ruining their own game in the EU.

Yeah, god forbid we buy ships that we missed before. WG doesn't need our money.

WG is really trying hard to win the "worst business practice of the year" award. The Derpitz as the "grand finale", what a hoot.

Why would WG feel the need to uphold their word? WG is like a politician, likes to talk big, but when it's time to follow up on their word you can suddenly hear crickets chirping.

Yeah, but in return they had the Graf Spee, the Okhotnik, and the Perth on offer. And their sale is only half way through. I would have preferred to get a chance to buy some interesting ships. Truth to be told I did buy the Belfast, but WG could have gotten more cash from me if they extended the sale.

Yeah, the Euro-peasants have a short sale with nothing spectacular. Russian nobility gets a month long sale, with 28 single ships and special offers for signals, dubloons, and premium time during the last 3 days of the sale. I feel appreciated by WG.

Yeah, a bundle that costs 100 or more is uninteresting to me. WG just doesn't want to sell more ships it seems.

In this case I'm going with Hanlon's Razor - "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity". Companies, especially decentralized companies, are prone towards making really dumb mistakes. While not huge, WG is large enough that a certain level of dumbo is to be expected. Because no company will willingly keep pissing on their customers, unless there's a reason for it that has little to do with the company.

Good luck with the attempt to get WG to say anything. As stated before they will probably say "we are sorry about that, we will try to do better next time, action stations" .

Might as well be, the Russians get 28 single offer ships in the sale, we will most likely get an overpriced bundle. Which most people won't be able to afford. If it'll be so tomorrow, then WG will have proven that they desperately need someone with a background in sales for their team.

You don't need to excuse yourself for educating people. People need to see how WGEU screws us over.

I thought to myself, hey I got a Smith for free and the summer sale has some nice offers. But then I saw that the Russian server gets 28 ships during the sale, while we get 8. We get a stupidly hard mission for a cosmetic flag, while NA gets a bag full of missions for real rewards. While WG has already pocketed my money, I'm considering telling people not to play the game. Because WG doesn't deserve any loyalty from the players.

First bug: 1. Description Belfast cruiser gets stuck on island can't move away. Map: Two Brothers, E5. See screenshot below. 2. Reproduction steps Move Belfast cruiser into the location. 3. Result Ship cannot move away, the only movement options are forward and backward without the ability to leave the location. 4. Expected result Ship should be able to move away from the location. Second bug: 1. Description The Guardian achievement isn't being rewarded. 2. Reproduction steps Unknown. The achievement isn't rewarded after reaching the necessary amount of allied ships saved. 3. Result The counter continues to count the ships for the achievement above the required 60. 4. Expected result Achievement is rewarded for 60 saved ships,

What will happen is that after the event we will get a message to the tune of "we are sorry about that, we will try to do better next time, action stations" and next time the requirements will also be ridiculous. If we get a response from WG to this joke of a mission. And yeah, that flag has a real historic meaning behind it, unlike most other event flags.

That's called gatekeeping. The idea WG has is that about 3% of all players can finish the mission in time. The missions aren't there to reward average or new players, they are there to get the unicums and T10 guys to play. The problem with this thinking is that unicums and T10 players DGAF about the weekly mission.

Ridiculous I know. But that's WG, a flag requires more work than a premium ship. This event requires 35k base XP , 11666 bXP a day in French ships only. For comparison the Smith Shenanigans required 40k base XP stretched over 10 days, with the requirement of T4+ ships. In return for the 35k you receive a cosmetic flag and 5 camos. Smith Shenanigans gives out 1x premium ship, 1x port slot, 1x day premium, 20x blue lagoon camo, 10x3 signals, 15x2 consumables. Does WG have a vendetta against France?
