So many mistakes in two sentences. The mind boggles. Has no one at WGHQ realized yet that difference in customer treatment results in resentment, when players from different regions compare what they are getting? We are living in the 21st century, asking someone who lives on the other side of the world about offers and promotions, takes a minute and is free. Having different regions handle a premium ship differently creates bad blood between the community and the company, having the ship for free on one server and on sale for cash on the other is effectively discrimination. This goes beyond bad PR and hurts the game community. Also the argument of cultural "relevance" has been used to deny EU players events and promotions several times now, and it feels like WG is prejudiced against Europeans in general.

That's WGEU just, be grateful that they even acknowledge our existence. /s

Tier 7 is where many lines move from light to heavy cruisers and the caliber moves from under 200mm to over 200mm. Only the IJN cruisers get 203mm earlier with the Furutaka and Aoba at tiers 5 and 6 respectively. Emerald has the problem of being a t5 ship which sees a lot t7 matches, it's ok at t5 but uptiered it's a failure compared to the Leander.

Shooting 203mm rounds against ships made out of tissue paper will get you the described results. French AP is ok, follows the standard rules. You just played well.

I play at tier 6 quite often, so often in fact that I bought 4 permanent camos for t6 cruisers. And I let me tell you those cruisers are all AA optimized because I constantly land in matches with a CV. You're just unlucky with the MM.

A simple way to entice people to play a tutorial would be to have a special tutorial campaign in which you go through all classes in PvE style missions. Grade them using the ops star system. Those that get 5 stars in every scenario get the Katori for free, good performance elsewhere would net the players rewards fitting low tier gameplay.

The requirement to hit Uk ships was dumb enough, making it limited to German BBs is even dumber. Had a player in a KM BB complain about no UK ships ingame this week. Me? I'm playing my UK ships in PvE.

Indeed.There's a caveat here that the niche player willingly spends money, the arcade gamer not necessarily. Someone he wants to play a simple arcade game isn't going to drop a 50€ for a digital ship, he'll maybe go for some small micro-transactions. The only way to attract the arcade gamer is P2W which would be the death of the game.

One could claim that the battle for Chosin Reservoir was such a battle. But I'm not sure, the US didn't really win that one.

I could imagine a PvE operation with bot subs making an appearance. Hell a PQ 17 scenario would be great, with waves of airplanes, wolfpack attacks etc. But that would require depth charges for destroyers... PvP subs? Nah, won't work.

Yeah, the only way to make them listen is to organize a boycott. That's sad but WG has shown that it doesn't really care about its customers if they aren't lighting up torches and grabbing pitchforks. An event in which a large portion of the playerbase doesn't play might scare them into listening, but I doubt it. A competing game would have an easy job in gatting people to switch the way things are going. Oh and BTW, someone needs to fire Markus Schill and whoever is responsible for shop offers on the EU server. Those people really don't want WG to make money or keep players playing.

I've unlocked the Edinburgh recently and decided to keep the Fiji. So he'll go there. Although I almost want to put him in the Belfast, so that he can be really evil.

I'm playing it like the Fiji for now, seems to work okayish for a stock ship with only the range upgrade. Not feeling it right now, but I struggled a bit in the Fiji.

Yeah, if they don't change course after say 10s then they should start taking damage. This would eliminate border hugging.
