Sure, people complain about it but it has nothing to do with the fact the ship has useless AP. This is a paper design purposefully made bad by WG. Hipper - I love how everyone sets up T8 as the crap tier and complains. Compared to the Yorck I'm really looking forward to a ship that can shoot AP beyond suicide range.

I didn't like the Königsberg, always felt the Nürnberg was a real improvement over it. I'm playing the Nürn as a long range fire spitter with the AA hull. Yorck is a really bad ship. With AP shells that barely work under 10km the boat has little going for it, as at tier every other boat outclasses it (with the introduction of the Algerie it even lost 1st place in the range category). Haven't reached Hipper yet, but I'm looking forward to it.

Can someone tell me what's so great about the Perth? Besides the HE?

I had 4 of them in the game above. It was fun seeing them get sunk. But yeah, people shouldn't use them for ops other than Dynamo.

Operation Dynamo is packed with a lot of unique content (map, ships, mines etc.). It would be a shame if they removed it permanently. A reworked version might do good.

Yes, but last weekend we didn't know the Nelson would be a Free XP ship, now did we? And converting dubloons to credits is uneconomical. Especially since the big bonus is an extra 150 silver per dubloon converted. 15% on a T8 ship is around 1.35 million in silver. Starting from T7 buying new ships gets really expensive in terms of silver, and even a 15% discount nets you good results. Or in other words, you can almost buy a T5 ship with those 15% saved on a T8 (just need to add 400k to it). So? I bought several ports slots back then. But that was the past weekend, what is WG offering me today that I want to spend money on? If you can't make the customer spend money on your product... Indeed, but to me EU is again getting the shorter end of the stick. And I will maintain this opinion until something changes.

AFAIK the upgrades will be demounted when the ships are removed from the account.

Sure, NA gets some deals that would have opened my purse strings: -10 port slots - I'm still getting my ship collection together, and I'm right now at a point where i would like to keep some T7 ships even though I move up to T8 in the lines. Having inexpensive port slots would let me keep the T7 ships. -Free XP conversion bonus/buying dubloons - with the coming of Nelson as T7 free XP RN BB I would have been willing to pony up the cash for the conversion. Also I would spend the free XP on T8 ships to shorten the grind. -T8-T10 silver discount - I would buy several T8 ships. - 30% discount on Russian premiums - I'm finishing grinding the Minsk and decided that I would buy the Leningrad, to have a similar ship for T7. There is not a single offer on EU that interests me, I even decided that I wouldn't buy the Perth as my Leander is fun enough and I already have a perma camo on it.

The sarcasm flew right over you, did it? Here's a random thought, the difference between Rodney and Nelson is effectively the difference between hull A and B. Nelson received refits and upgrades which kept the ship in the navy after the war, Rodney didn't and was scrapped after it. Nelson would have 24 knots compared to Rodney's 22, 18km range compared with 16km, 15s rudder shift compared with 20s, and so on. All stats courtesy of the extended tech tree mod.

Well Nelson isn't insignificant, the ship got torpedoed during a Malta convoy. That's important. And then she got hit by two mines during the Normandy landings. Rodney only took part in a gunnery duel with the Bismarck, mauling the ship in the process. Completely insignificant if you ask me.

Corporate greed has never benefited games. In the process of squeezing money out of players they alienated some of them. Seeing how jumpy WG is when it comes to RN battleships it almost looks like they have no idea what they are doing. Unless you pay for XP conversion Nelson isn't going to be a P2W ship. Using Papa Papa flags and some good premium ships you can earn enough Free XP to buy it. Someone wrote on reddit that Nelson will most likely cost 250K based on some XP calculations, and that's not much.

And this weekend we will get the extra weekend mission for Dunkirk crates again. So if you haven't completed the collection yet, you'll have a chance of getting 6 crates in the next 3 days (9 if you have the Gallant).

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was the WoWS trailer before it, not really moving. Other than that it was a great movie and one of the best war movies around.

Either I'm a bad player or the ranks after 10 are not suited for aggressive gameplay. Every game is the same, a camping snoozefest of clevelands and fusos. Oh well, rank 10 is still good enough for my first ranked. The black flag would've been nice but I'm not going to stress myself.

Here we go again. Nothing is really free. The mission rewards aren't "free" because to get them you have to play, sacrifice your time and energy that you could be spending elsewhere. And since time is worth more than money we are actively "paying" for those rewards. WG needs to entice people to play their game, since we can all do something else instead. They "try" by offering us mission rewards.

And here I was, praising WG, silly me. No week without a screw up or a lie miscommunication. To finish the mission you'd need a lucky Akizuki game or a good BB game with many secondary hits. And for what? A measly upgrade worth 1mio. silver and 10 camos... Hey WGEU do you really hate the people that pay your wages so much that you can't stop pissing on them?

He's talking about the Bismarck campaign. My knee jerk reaction to this would be to say nope, you had your chance just like everyone else playing the game. You set your priorities the way you did, so cowboy up and accept the fact that you didn't make it. But my salesman senses are telling me that it would be chance for WG to make some cash, since they could sell the big containers for x2 the price to people like DKDlite (1x event container for 6€). But certainly without the chance to exchange containers between events.

Does the flag look like this: If so then it's an old flag which according to the wiki entry on flags was given out in November 2016 during an event. It has no ingame bonus.

I gave up on the mission at stage 4 and instead of playing the game spent time with my friends. Good job WG!
