Yeah, totes dumbo. But seriously, if they manage to make the USN CVs the hard striking option compared to the flexibility of the IJN CVs, then we might have more balance in the game. Because right now when I see a USN CV I cringe inwardly, as they stand so little chance against IJN ones (save Saipan). I hope this change will give them the edge they need.

94.000 damage done by torps alone. 14x the amount of own HP done to the enemy team. Still no win.
-
Especially since the 24/28 capacity is historical.
-
Most likely, if the max capacity isn't increased, the carrier will have 18 planes on deck and 10 in reserve. That's 3.3 replacement plane per squadron or 4/3/3. Zuiho has 2 planes more.
-
I'm more happy about the removal of Strike loadouts. There was nothing more irritating then a CV on my team getting eaten alive by the enemy because he had no fighters.
-
There's also Chateau Frontenac on Warrior's Path on the southernmost of the islands at middle left. I noticed it today while playing my Shchors. There are probably a dozen building easter eggs hidden on the maps.
-
Calistron posted a much larger collection of pics, all USN CVs save Langley get new loadouts. Ranger at T7 - 1F 1TB 2DB Independence at T6 - 1F 1TB 1DB Bogue at T5 - 1F 1TB 1DB I'm skeptical of the change. Bogue will stop being a cancer, but whether it will measure up to the larger squadron amount of the Zuiho will have to be seen.

I'm considering my options. I know that my current secondary build on the Cleveland won't work as well at T8 as it does onT6. Helena however has too few secondaries. I might just put all of my extra captains onto the CLs and use the old Cleveland cap on the Pepsi. But yes, 15 guns + IFHE sounds scary on T7.
-
AFT gives you the best benefit together with the secondary module. It raises the range of your secondaries to 7.6km without the flag, with the flag it's 8km. Combined with Hull B* on Gneisenau you'll get a great tool to support you when going for torp strikes or during DD ambushes. Hull B - 11x2 128mm secondaries, compared to a mixed bag on hull A.
-
Right, but the treaty created the distinction between light and heavy cruisers. So we can safely say that if the tX designs were ever made they would be heavy cruisers.
-
Indeed, every other tier X cruiser has a main battery caliber exceeding 203mm, making them all heavy cruisers as per the London naval treaty.
-
To make it simple, if the same rules will apply to US cruisers as to the Rus DDs: Tier 6 ships will get a 6p captain. Tier 7 ships will get a 7p captain. Tier 8 ships will get a 8p captain. Tier 9 ships will get a 9p captain. This will also mean that you should consider whether it would be worthwhile to shuffle the captains around after the split. Because if you have several of those cruisers with permanent captains chances are they have more than 10p.
-
While I bought the Nelson with fXP, the Missouri is worth getting just for the Steven Seagal easter egg.
-
If so, then you may be right. But then let's not forget that the french BBs have been teased for some time and we only now get some hard data on the US split.
-
Since what we have is only a few pics and a proposed line split chart, without anything more, it could be anything from early next year to mid next year. The Asians will be next. Then we will probably see french BBs in the supertest, if we're lucky with a release for Christmas. I doubt they will hurry with it.

What you got in your pumppimpkins? Pumpkins and new Halloween event available now

To my great shame I broke down and bought 5 more pumpkins, to my great surprise RNGesus loved me and game both the Varg and Scarab camos. -
Doubtful it will happen. The FR BBs will come after the PA DDs. Then we will get the cruiser split. Afterwards they should really go for either RN or FR DDs, and ITA cruisers.

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"

Well I hope so, especially since I love my Cleveland and have a secondary specced captain on her. -

I'm worried about this split, especially since I have paid real money to get permanent camos for the Cleveland and Pensacola. I also have the "Congratulatory" camo fro the NO. I hope I won't be cheated out of my camo by WG when the line is reshuffled. -
We met very serious Racial Discrimination, will you punish them?
Aragathor replied to Der_Himmel's topic in General Discussion
First, there are rules against naming and shaming. Second, WG will do nothing besides reminding you of the report function, which does (also) nothing. -
Most likely because they never had enough money for a permanent fix. And you can forget the government putting up large amounts of cash.

This, I never knew about WoWs until I saw an ad for it and went to youtube and found Jingles. Exposure is great.

It's a good question, I can bet a lot of people here wouldn't mind supporting the ship through a premium purchase.
