Please nerf/remove the T7 Lyon. It really is a ship that makes me want to quit spending money on WoWS and play something else. It's a 0 skill ship against which cruisers have no defense.

That one is taking an extended holiday, the current balancing is done by monkeys flinging excrement against a wall.

Different departments. Game balance and technical solutions have nothing to do with graphics and sound design. Keeping the creative departments occupied is important, as lack of tasks can quickly lead to problems.

After the newest change their turtle back armor doesn't work anymore. I just had several cases of German BBs getting cited under 10km.

One of the reasons I don't bother with honors on the campaign. When task requirements are not reasonable I spend my time with other things. Helps keeping me sane.

I'm thinking about doing this campaign with honors just for kicks. Normally I don't bother, but I will be able to get all the missions done in the background before the campaign ends. Don't bother, he's here to complain about WG no matter what.

I'm earning the Aigle by playing the Aigle and doing Aigle missions. Aigle-ception. But I'm still 5 missions away from getting Aigle².* *-This WE missions not included, been too busy laying floors.

I'm only missing a few ribbons to end the 2nd stage. The campaign is less of a chore than I thought, but that's because i bought the Aigle and have several French ships (no T8 BB though).

Good to know. I have a dedicated Gneis captain, so I may try to go full ham with him, as I already have to get close to use his 6 main guns.

It seems that the Conqueror has a slight armor problem now.

Just had an SC, a module. Sadly a spotter plane when I could have used others. Edit: Next container was also an SC. This time a Damage Control module. Why not Smoke WG?

I'm using Radeon drivers (Adrenalin 18.2.1) on my R7. So WG should really check themselves.

Oh you know, to support the company? I bought the Aigle, saved myself the hassle of grinding the marathon, received several bonus missions that allowed me to get a 10p captain to 15p. It's great WG has made the ship free for those willing to invest time and effort to grind the missions. But there's nothing wrong with buying the ship, especially since it's a decent bote.

Not quite right. The Aigle marathon missions go on for two days. So yesterday's mission is still active for those who haven't finished it.

1. This is a contre-torpilleur, a French large destroyer. That thing is larger and heavier than a typical T8 destroyer. It also has 2000 more HP than a T8 DD (exception Akizuki and Z-23 B hulls). It's high detection rating represents that. 2+3. That's a question of perception, I'd say from experience that having LS is a good thing which makes disabled a engine/rudder less of a hassle. Besides if you are under prolonged fire you have made a mistake and should smoke up. 4. The Aigle was never conceived as a torpedo boat. Even so it fires powerful torpedoes that can take out anyone daring to get close. Besides they have enough range for island ambushes. 5. The guns on the Aigle are the heaviest DD guns still covered by BFT/AFT. They are best when used at close range where they literally dump on DDs, citadel Cruisers, and burn BBs. If you have problems doing damage with the guns on the Aigle, then the problem lies with you. The Aigle requires that the player plays it in a more restrained, cautious, manner. Being the second DD entering a cap it can turn the tables of any engagement and in the later part of a battle, it can easily hunt down and destroy much more powerful enemies.

Thought so too, but nope, no amount of driver magic solved the issues for me. Let's face it both Nvidia and AMD users have the same problems, so the fault should be sought in the game code.

According to @LittleWhiteMouseon Reddit the CCs are also struggling with these problems.

1.- The Speed Boost consumable does not generate thick smoke when activated, instead no smoke is being displayed coming out of the funnel. 2.- Select a Ship with Speed boost available and equipped. When in battle activate Speed Boost. 3.- The exhaust smoke generated normally by the funnel disappears. 4.- The normal exhaust smoke should be replaced by a thicker and darker smoke. Well the class also had a Monarch and a Conqueror. But the last ship of the class was named Thunderer, so it could work.

No it isn't, WG said the ship is balanced and they know it because of the statistics they gather. /s

Just a comment about the Lyon. It is a cruiser killer. 16 guns require 0 skill to kill cruisers. You just point them at the enemy and double click. With such an amount of guns you will hit at least once, maybe even a citadel. But I agree with you, having the Strasbourg instead of the Lyon would have been better.

I have updated my drivers (Radeon) and the game has stabilized, somewhat, as my ping goes up and down like an elevator. Before it was almost constant. The game is still jerky AF.

This thread is a perfect illustration of how much WG/Lesta cares about the EU customers. WG is doing everything from pulling premiums from sale and not selling signals so that they won't earn money.
