That's not it and you know it. The armor scheme of the Vanguard made it eat citadels from all directions. Any hit through the 32mm upper belt resulted in a citadel. It made the ship unplayable. The version posted on the DevBlog has a water line citadel and a weaker citadel roof. You can still punish it when it shows broadside. But it's easier to just whine, isn't it? There isn't anymore. The nerfs went too far, resulting in a ship clearly inferior in almost every category. I expect WG to change the ship again before release.

My whole team decided to potato, with an Emerald showing broadside to BBs, Acasta sitting in smoke while fighting a Kamikaze, my BBs hiding behind an island in spawn. The usual. Ended up 1 vs. 3. Torped a Hiei to death, gunned down a Königsberg, and reminded the enemy Kami that IJN guns are there to be used. Also, 4 solo caps.

Since we will be getting only one item per pumpkin I'm very interested how much will they cost. Because the contents aren't worth a lot due to RNG (most people will get the consumable Halloween camo).

That would be a good compromise between the old and current ranges. With the legendary mod it would still leave a 1km gap between spotting range and max torp range, and without it would just barely be below a full stealth build's spotting.

I like it too. I've put my AA captain from the Lyon on it and it's fun to just cruiser around with the secondaries. The wacky heal helps too. Picking it you just have to realize that this isn't a hard carry ship like the Alabama.

Bayern has an average 40mm penetration advantage over PEF at every range. König has better penetration over 10km. WG overnerfed it with those changes.

Bayern has a concealment of 14.9km out of the box. And a traverse of 3.5 deg/s. So the ships are almost the same now. Which begs the question, what's the point of PEF? Because the 3 kn extra speed do not make me open my wallet. WG is balancing things with a sledgehammer again.

You do realize that the collectors club is active on RU? They got the collector's club flag in July. The patches are most likely meant for them.

If you don't need the doubloons then why are you complaining? No one forces you to buy. This felt weird, normally I'm the one criticizing WG. Indeed, you get the extra 450 when you claim the first daily.

It's an interesting concept, combining a deal with a prerequisite. Getting 14x450 + 450 doubloons for 15.99€? A good deal if you need dubs. 15.99€ will net you 4180 doubloons if you buy it normally. So that's a 2570 dub difference, or 10.21€ saved. Looking at it from the perspective of someone interested in buying doubloons, I can say it's a deal I might take. Especially since we never get straightforward doubloon discounts. PS: I have no problem with WG trying to improve retention/participation rates. A game few people are playing is a boring game.

That would be scummy as hell. Releasing a ship before the NDA expires so that the players can't make an informed decision. That's a good question...

I think Notser said in his last review, the one with the finalized ships, that Terrible has no tool to really drop off. It has no ability to either preserve its strength (smoke) or restore it (heal). Kidd costs 33.80 and has both smoke and heal. Also it outspots Terrible and can negate the MBRB by sitting in smoke.

The compact carousel mod doesn't display the first win XP bonus for me. Also all of the chat mods stop working after i restart the client, which is weird. Any ideas?
