Please read the patch notes. They are quite spicy. I have seen a Tirpitz complain about being top tier all the time today. I haven't yet played a T8 ship to test it, but I'm looking forward to it.

What did you expect? Everything working as promised?

I have seen a Tirpitz player complain that he's constantly top tier. This is a good thing. I wonder how this will influence T7 MM and the fact that ships at t8 receive access to the Concealment System Mod 1, making them stealthier than lower tier ships. This may lead to a sharp drop in T7 performance in the future, but that remains to be seen. I have tested the IJN gun changes on the Akatsuki. They give the IJN DDs a certain kick, to the point that now I would be wary of hunting them down in a DD not clearly designed to hunt other DDs. I have yet to test other changes to the ships, like the IJN cruisers and secondaries, but after experiencing the changes already there I look forward to them.

I would hate it if that's true. WG moving the goal posts as it suits them, always to the detriment of the players. Excuse me? I know that the "C" in Wargaming stands for competence, but announcing the release of new content and having people wait for it for over a month is questionable. If this is true then it would have made more sense to do this whole charade in January. That's par for the course. WG is horrible at communicating and I don't believe a word they say because they are as likely to change it later on. I thought so too, but the collectors emblems are announced farther down in the patch notes:

Sorry but ranked hasn't been about skill for a long time. There are people with horrible winrates in ranked who just got carried up the ranks by clicking the "battle" button often enough.

We had a discussion in our alpha team about Harugumo. The BB AP changes don't touch her, so she will be vulnerable to getting blasted by Montanas and Stalingrads.

So almost identical, if not identical, to Arizona. Nice, expected it to cost a bit extra.

Pick Grozovoi. Lots of utility and the heal let's you get back after a mistake.

It would be surprising if they didn't. Azuma should be dropped a tier and then measured against Kronshtadt and Alaska. Viribus Unitis should get more HP, right now it looks iffy. Yahagi? Yeah, that one is a tough nut to crack. I'd say better torp angles.

No they can't. That would screw over everyone not using permanent camos. Imagine playing the game for free and making a massive silver loss every time you play T10. That would be dumber than the current situation.

You spelled c0ckbote wrong. Worcester is a better tool against DDs imho.

Not really. Their hands are tied as the economy is bound to the permanent camos. You get a +20% silver bonus and a -50% service cost reduction, putting you at the level of a T8 premium. But they can't change that, not because they don't want to, but because then all of the permanent camos would be subject to reimbursement. Just imagine people asking for the doubloons back. That's up to 110.000 doubloons for people owning all T10s with perma camos. That would wreck the doubloon economy and most likely also the fXP economy, as much as there is one. Some people could make a claim before a court that they don't want credit but money back, and before a European court that would maybe lead to an unfavorable judgment. Imagine WG having to pay back, in cash, the value of all of those camos. Using the all camo example that's around 390€.

He meant special signals in general, like Red Dragon, Wyvern, Leviathan etc.

Helping the T5s will go a long way in making the game more new player friendly. People hit the T5 and get smacked by T7s just wrecking face. I really hope this works out. The game needs a boost.

I am much less optimistic than you are, but I really hope Wg will change the tier of this ship. And maybe of some others that have been announced.

WG loves it, it drives people away from the game while making it hard even for dedicated users to get anything out of it.

Seeing how WG devs bungled improving Hindenburg after it was nerfed parallel to the buff to other free roaming cruisers, I have zero confidence that Yueyang will ever be worthwhile again. Since the Chung Mu has been shown by other posters here to be better than Yueyang, will she also be nerfed to the ground? You forgot to add "that can hit destroyers" at the end of your post.

Is this a new way for WG to balance ships? Make them suck in the first iteration and look for gimmicks to buff them into being acceptable?

Tsushima avenged? Truth to be told, I was interested when they announced it, skeptic when I saw it was a T10, and now I lost my interest. While I do believe that these stats will be changed, after testing shows they are bad, it doesn't bode well that the ship is like this already in the first preview. The armor model alone makes me wonder what the designers were thinking... And I'm not comparing this ship to Stalingrad, as Stalingrad is broken and should be nerfed.

Have you tried removing all of the mods, revalidating your install, and then trying aslain again? Also, do you have replays enabled? My install worked only after I manually enabled them in the config file.

Yeah, he also doesn't pull any punches in voicing his opinion about issues: Indeed. I remember her exchanging banter with Lert, about him spending the morning chasing her butt ingame, to get the real turning circle numbers for a ship. What she does takes a lot of time, patience, and precision to do. I don't agree with all of her opinions but I can make my own mind up by just looking at the data she collected.
