While I will never subscribe to your tin foil hat theory, the "premium" containers have not been worth it for a long time. Luckily for me I finished the collection already.

"Old" DDs have the problem of being power creeped. Look at the detection ranges of ships like Sims or Blyskawica. T7 and T6 have the problem of facing T8 DDs from time to time, making them XP pinatas due to the concealment module. But even without the module T7 DDs have a horrible concealment compared to T8s, even if the T8s in question were larger in real life. For example, Akatsuki has 470m worse concealment than Kagero, both with CE. Mahan is 230m worse than Benson and Jervis 160m worse than Lightning. German and Pan-Asian DDs are exceptions, T7s have better concealment than T8s. And Russian DDs don't rely on concealment until the T8 alternate line start. Now add the 10% from the Concealment Module into it and you will see how bad T7 DDs have it.

NA events like this one, or the Corgi Fleet, prove that the "equality" of servers is a joke and that people responsible for EU events are too lazy and comfortable to care for WoWS players.

The "Tropical" Duke of York permanent camo doesn't have an alternate version. The Atago version of the camo does have an alternate version however. Can someone at WG please check which permanent RN camos don't have an alternate colour scheme?

Are you surprised? WG has cultivated an image of being untrustworthy and double dealing. First they say no subs, then they announce subs. First they say "no nerfs to premiums", then they say "GC will be changed because it's too good". Their words have no value.

I'd say that Kutuzov has been relegated to the "good" category by all the global changes. The smoke spotting change hit it a bit, as it has a 7km detection when firing from smoke. The CV rework nerfed the AA, as now you can't just pick AFT and AA gun mod 1 to create a no fly zone with the push of a button. And with how people have become skilled in shooting into smoke the ship lost a lot of it's power, so right now it's not even close to being OP.

To push the price up. They will never sell only the camos, that would be too customer firendly.

The Roma is my favorite premium ship, whenever I want a nice game I pick her and let fly. The handling, the armor, the looks, they all compensate for the meme worthy guns. And speaking about them, when they they hit hard.

Maybe for T6s & 7s, but if it was only the MM then Baltimore would be at the bottom, but it isn't. The guns on NO, Pensa, and Indianapolis all shoot the same shell. That might be the problem, as all 3 ships have bad stats.

When Cleveland was still T6 I ran a secondary build on her. It was a riot in ops with 7,2km secondaries constantly firing away. I miss a cruiser line able to do that.

So you have no idea how they play now and how they have been nerfed to fit the tier they are now. Let me point out the Pensacola, at t7 after all the buffs it was a glass cannon, you had the guns and the agility but not the armor. High risk, high reward. At t6 it has become a nightmare of a ship, with guns too slow to turn and a horrible concealment. I sold it. The reworked ships are quite different, more than you assume.

A quick look at the weekly stats published here told me the following: -Pensacola is at the bottom together with Nürnberg. -New Orleans and Indianapolis are also in a bad spot. -Baltimore is ok, either average or above. -Buffalo sucks in WR but not in damage. -Des Moines is in a great place. Salem however is not. Wichita is too new. In effect the ships need to be looked at individually, as their performance at their respective tiers differs.

I had hoped for a well thought out argument, but as usual got a strawman instead. Let me deconstruct it first, we are not talking about Exeter's performance here and whether the shop price reflects its real value, we are talking about the fact that the ship is sold only in the most expensive bundle form. And to further my argument, let's look at the bundle and the shop: The 3 premium cruisers at T5 in the shop currently have an average sale price of 12,91€ for the ship and a port slot. The Exeter bundle contains the ship, port slot, a 10p captain, 25x 3x XP mission, 12 combat signals packs with 25 flags each, limited ship flag, all for 29,49€. That's more expensive than the Indianapolis, a T7 cruiser sold for 28,45€. Removing the average T5 premium cruiser value from the bundle leaves 16,58€ in price left, and the remaining contents of the bundle don't really match it. And let me point out, the 25x 3x XP missions has been recently added to ship + slot offers of new ships.

What does the Gascogne have to do with selling the Exeter only in the most expensive bundle? Or is it straw that you are gathering? Then explain to me how a coop main can get those 30 planes or an average player those 7 achievements in time to get the ship? The missions should not be designed around unicums with 100 ships in port, but the average working Joe.

WG please check the application of permanent camos on the ships, after Benson Ghoul camo we have this: Helena's Remembrance Night and standard Type 17 camos have no camo secondary turrets. The alternate Type 17 scheme has camo on secondaries.

When you have to carry the team...

I think it is the first step towards anti-customer changes by WG, leading them towards offering only overpriced bloated bundles in the shop and having "free" ship missions doable only by no-lifer unicums. So that they can claim that you can "earn the ship for free" if you don't want to buy the bundle. This is the proof of concept. In effect they are the worst sales practice made flesh.

Since the ship only shop article isn't available, I decided it wasn't necessary to support WG with my money. Keep it up, I'm saving cash to spend on other companies.

I work but I'm not stupid enough to overpay for a bundle.
