I'm sitting at 4/7 since yesterday. Had a 83% WR yesterday, 71%WR today. I keep winning games but not getting achievements. And it's not like I'm bottom of the list in the team. Extremely frustrated by this stage.

Interesting enough, a lot of Disney animations in the films have been reused over and over again to save costs.

This has already been asked before, here - WG has no interest in selling those flags, there are no plans of adding flags for free XP ships even though WG created them, and we can also forget about getting flags they forgot to hand out like the Year of the Pig flag.

The ship's value is somewhere around 12€. I was willing to pay for it, instead of going for the missions, but WG told me that they will only sell the ship in a bloated bundle which is overpriced for the meager content. Their reasoning for not offering the ship in a simple slot + ship package, was that I could earn the ship for free. But time isn't free and the jacked up requirements of the last stage vastly overwhelm the real value of the ship, which is a T5 cruiser. You can of course accept predatory sales practices all you want, I don't need to. This mission marathon is bad, it excludes people from finishing it, be it because they only play coop or lack the required ships. It is designed to prevent people from obtaining the ship, and those that will, will have to invest a lot of time and energy in it, excessively so compared to the true value of the ship. So tell me, why should we be happy as WG moves the goalposts and removes options that were present in previous events of similar nature?

The Exeter missions are limited to T6-T8 British ships.

I understand that perception bias colors how people see ships, but cold hard numbers say that GK is the worst T10 BB. Massachusetts is too strong, it made all other T8 secondary premiums obsolete.

Yes, I think they are. WG is playing stupid games, so people go for stupid prizes. There are several more stages after the 7 achievements, so people need to get them reliably fast to have enough time to finish the mission. Especially since it's only a week until the grind ends and some can only play on a weekend. PS: I had 5 games today, where I played for the win and tried to contribute instead of hunting achievements. Wasn't worth it, others played mongo and earned theirs.

Yeah, go for the worst T10 battleship, the one that has the lowest winrate, lowest damage, lowest K/D ratio. The one that doesn't get citadeled, but instead constantly eats HE and full pens.

First, WG does not sell the Exeter as a ship + slot offer, claiming you "can earn the ship for free". Then they make the missions impossible to finish for coop players. And for a finisher, they create a 7 achievement stage, so that people need to rely on being lucky to finish it. I love it, I've been spending my gaming money elsewhere, bought new floor mats for my car, stocked up on good loose leaf tea, even started looking for new books. I really hope WG continues this anti-customer approach.

Last year there was some info posted about the T2 Borodino, with some pictures and soft stats. Can't remember if the ship was shelved or dropped. The image looked as if the ship model was done.

By making such events, where missions are planned to exclude certain parts of the player base, WG is biting the hand that feeds them. Why support a developer that makes sure that you remember that you are inferior, because you don't play the mode they want you to play? Besides, isn't the coop population larger than 20% of the EU server?

IFHE ist bei deutschen Kreuzern sinnlos, es sei denn wir reden über den T2/3. Ab T4 hat die Linie einen Durchschlagwert von 1/4 des Kalibers, alle anderen Kreuzer haben nur 1/6. Dies bedeutet dass die Yorck ohne IFHE durch 52mm von Panzer mit HE Granaten geht. 50mm ist der höchste Grenzwert der mit IFHE auf Kreuzern erreicht werden kann (Bug von Moskva/Stalingrad, Bug und Heck von T10 Schlachtschiffen). Dagegen ist Sprengmeister ein muss, die 12% Brandwahrscheinlichkeit ist ein Witz auf T7, und sollte mit allen Mitteln wie Fahnen und Fähigkeiten erhöht werden. Die AP der Yorck ist besser als die von Hindenburg, da die Yorck gegen leichter gepanzerte Schiffe kämpft. Zusätzlich hat die Yorck auf Entfernungen ab 10km einen ca. 10mm großen Penetrationsvorteil. Die AP auf der Hindenburg lässt zu wünschen übrig, speziell auf größeren Distanzen.

I wholeheartedly agree with all your points. However i believe that WG will continue on this road and make the free to play users feel unwelcome, or at least a second class of player. WG "forgot" to tell us that only 3 weeks of containers were planned. You can attribute it either to malice or incompetence, both are at the end a measure of their profesionalism.

Since the event is over, no I have not received anything. I earned all the directive containers, the naval battle container, the compensation container etc. In short every free container available. I have not bought the Exeter so I did not get any of the Knight of Devon mission containers. I did not expect to receive a single mission, as I knew beforehand that the drop rate would be abysmally low. Since there was no doubloon compensation for doubles, and since I already own 3 out of the 4 possible ships, there was no reason to buy premium containers.

I can't say it does for me, but yesterday Flamu had this problem on stream.

The more I look at the recent events the more I have the feeling that WG will go down the line of manipulative events, where facts are hidden in some corner, and people will be taken advantage of. The drop in quality is clearly visible. Looking at them not highlighting the 3 week time period or the fact that you couldn't get the t8 for free, adding to it the fact that Exeter is not available in the shop as ship + slot, it all makes me wary of spending anything.

Only on ships with a tank build, where I can reduce the flooding duration by stacking bonuses.

If there was another week of directives with free boxes I might have spent some dubs to get the t8. But since there isn't I'll pass, because spending approx. 27€ to get a silver t8 is ridiculous.

Neither if you bother with coop. If you have a good British premium like Cossack, Nelson, or Belfast you should be able to get the 3-in-1 in a few short games. Then you just switch to Fiji and get the citadels. It's the 7 achievements that will be tricky.

I always thought the Khaba was a boring ship, I was wrong. A nice English roast. The French ship burns, but does not sink.

It will be in "one battle sink 3 ships". No way WG will make that part as easy as 3 kills over any amount of battles.

They didn't give us the Lunar New Year - year of the Pig flag, even though they made one and added it to the client. So why would they add an existing port modification for St. Paddys? It's too much work, can't you see? This year WG is devoted to dropping the ball on WoWS, the events are bottom of the barrel bad. Lunar New Year, valentine's , St. Paddys, no matter where you look there's the lowest possible effort made but a lot of shop offers.

Take a look at all German lines and you will notice that all the things that before made them good, have either been removed balanced or everyone else got buffed but them. The hydro on DDs? With CVs and radar it lost a lot of its value. The BBs just eat damage like there's no tomorrow and their secondaries are a joke. High tier cruisers? Bottom of the stat list after nerfs. Everyone does the German line's thing better than them, so there is very little reason to use them.
