Italian cruisers are intentionally that bad?

No, the best solution was presented by @ColonelPete: Drop SAP damage, improve Reload.

Italian cruisers are intentionally that bad?

They will not do much for them, because that would be admitting they screwed up. And their egos wouldn't survive that. What feedback? They got no feedback, just whiners and moaners who don't appreciate the superb work put into making the Italian cruisers floating turds.
  3. A lot of people in my clan, including me, got kicked out either mid-game or encountered endless loading bugs. My whole internet connection is working, save WoWS.

    Is there XVM for WoWS?

Says who? Some random dude on a forum? So you will never be focused by it, as people who hide their stats are mostly potatoes who die early and then write in chat "no support, noob team". And everything that gives you an advantage, can be really anything, so you'd have to punish people for having good reflexes and a better attention span too. Harrison Bergeron style.

    Is there XVM for WoWS?

It allows to adapt the play style to the situation. Seeing a purple cv means no solo yolo plays. It allows to identify strong players that have to be ganked first. I've had games where the knowledge that my team is bad helped me give 120%.
  6. No, the PR is hidden behind a ret@rded grind and if you read the comments from WG in that reddit thread, you'll notice that if you don't finish the grind in time there will be no PR for you. So nah, that's much less for a huge time investment.

ST - new German commander and test ships.

Only if you have the GrafZep. He's subpar for other lines.
  8. A quick back of the envelope calculation. 2018 - 8650 Steel and 58700 Coal. 2019 - 3085 Steel and 50950 Coal. Only a slight drop in coal, but a big loss on steel. Whales like me will only get bad drops out of the T10 boxes, as the only ships we don't have are those we don't want.
  9. Same, but seeing that I'm 100% on the "don't give anything to this guy" list it doesn't surprise me.

Speed issues aside. The torps are also t3 when it comes to damage and speed. And you don't get 16 of them every 35-40 seconds, you get a maximum of 8 every 47 seconds. I don't know where these confabulations come from.

I'd buy that Hiei in an instant.

    USS Enterprise

This is what happens when in order to make a quick buck for the quarterly report, a company releases an untested product and then screws up by the numbers. In their greed WG released premium carriers before the rework was properly done and ruined their chances for long term profit on the Enterprise. The most distinguished ship of the WW2 is gone from sale. WG will not profit from people wanting the ship, unless they buy Christmas boxes. There will be nothing extra in a future Azur Lane collab, even though Enterprise is the chief character of the Anime. WG played a stupid game and won a very stupid prize. I expect a lot of topics popping up with the same question, "where is Enterprise?". Because people want the ship, but WG could not think more than three months ahead.

High School Fleet back in the Shop

I missed the Musashi skin and told myself that if I get the chance I will get it. So I bought it. As someone who already has the HSF ships it was the last thing I could buy too, save for the captains. But I also got Moeka with the skin, so i also have all of the real commanders (and not engineering or gunnery crew).
  14. No, you don't ignore feedback, it only takes a massive amount of whining and pestering to get things done when you refuse to budge, like with the Blyskawica. We kept hearing the same old reply "stats are fine" when people kept telling WG that the ship isn't fun to play. And PR and Mainz where collectively panned by testers, if you didn't react to it the bias calls would reach heavens. Weird, I remember both Yahagi and VU suddenly appearing in the shop without any reviews, save for what was said during testing. A lot of people noticed too. So someone is not being truthful here. WGs actions speak louder than empty words. Dedicated people are telling you what's wrong and you ignore that, or keep repeating the same old excuses. You keep piling grinds, CBs, and ranked atop each other, and when people tell you it's too much, you say this. But as long as your numbers are alright, you can ignore warnings, until it's too late. People tell you what they want, and you respond saying that it's low priority, like operations. The 53 masochists that are still playing it agree. A pity that other T5 BBs are more popular. You, as a company, forced a 1911 design into a tier where it fights WW2 ships. A ship that has to face T6 carriers with no real AA, where it has to deal with massive BB broadsides while having by far the worst HP pool. After burning myself with the Yahagi I luckily opted not to give any money for this ship. Sure, if you consider 19 people playing it as a hallmark of a popular ship. But as the Yubari is more popular or even Huang He, we all know how it looks like. And we all know that the CCs only posted glowing reviews of that ship. Buried under all the spreadsheets with stats WG would not recognize FUN if it came through the door and started roundhouse kicking people in the face. We don't want OP ships, we want ships that are fun to play, but you keep ignoring that. That's why we get boring and bad ships no one is playing, because you don't understand the player base and don't want to. WG could have released VU at T4 with some decent nerfs. Instead it got shoe horned into a tier no wanted it on. Same will happen to Leone, at T6.
  15. We will, most likely WG will do the same thing with them as with the previous premiums recently released. Ignore feedback, release them in the last shown iteration, profit form the fact that the players forgot about the bad sides of the ships. Worked so well with Yahagi and Viribus Unitis, they don't need to put in any man hours and before the last round of testing they already have a finished product.

They did announce a slight buff to the pen angels, but not a complete reversal of the previous nerf. I see the Italian cruiser in a mostly negative light. They don't bring enough to the table to be worthwhile.
  17. This sums up the mode. Great for divs, bad for solos.
  18. That's true. Even veterans like me have their fun when in a triple division. I must say that the portal camping hyenas are ruining the fun for others. A triple division of good players just eats them like a snack. Had a case of this yesterday, two teams camping the portal like it was the summer vacation spot, waiting for my team to bring in the Rasputin loot. End result, two teams dead due to a combination of suicide bot DDs and my team being smarter than the average bear. We left the battle in style with 2,7k filth in the hold. Both enemy teams got around 40.

Italian cruisers are intentionally that bad?

And spreadsheet says it has potential. But both spreadsheet calculations and design plans don't survive the clash with reality. Because this is an entertainment product people will choose ships that are fun to play and don't require them to work to perform. Even very good players will think twice before playing a ship that only has "potential" to perform well compared to ships that "will" perform. Why would anyone take the Zara out if they have Yorck and Algerie in their port? Both latter ships offer versatility and solid performance, with Algerie having great burst DPM with MBRB and Yorck a powerful AP. Zara has a smoke gimmick that is extremely situational and only useful for running out, and a special ammo type that can be nullified by angling against it. I don't see the appeal. As to the role of a DD bully, we have enough of those in other national trees already. Zara alone competes with many ships much better suited to the task, with higher RoF and better consumables, so why should anyone pick her if ships like the Helena or Fiji exist? Hell, even Abruzzi is a better DD hunter as it has a 7,5s reload and a hydro. And don't get me started on the Indianapolis. To sum it up, I don't see what the Italian cruisers bring to the table to make them attractive to anyone.
  20. Then we are still looking for the 45% WR potato with 40 Fat Albert battles then. http://maplesyrup.sweet.coocan.jp/wows/ranking/20191102/eu_2month/average_ship.html
  21. If it was 40 battles then yeah, it was you.
  22. I'd say that at the moment of their release almost every silver German line was strong. König was op before it was nerfed back in the day. And Z-52 was great when the only radar at T10 was Des Moines and Moskva. But those times are gone. The meta and the available ship lines made the German ships look underwhelming at best. As to premiums, I think Z-39 is a high skill ceiling ship, good in experienced hands but weak in the hands of a potato. König Albert? No one plays this ship anymore on EU. Last 2 months only one person bothered to play it in randoms. I agree the T-61 is too good, but not in the same league as ships like Belfast or Giulio Cesare. The remaining German premiums are average, nothing to swoon about compared to premiums of other nations like Massachoochoo.
