Decided to go for the Ohio. Reset IJN cruisers first, a horrible experience as the ships have been power creeped hard and are really bad in the current meta. Then went for MN cruisers, played a lot of them solo, a pleasure to play with good results all around. Next up will be USN cruisers.

Well, both Black and Flint have been or will be globally nerfed with no compensation. So they won't be popular even for coal. What a great event. Finished the directives yesterday, only disappointment. At least the two first dub bundles were ships, otherwise I would have had no early access. But WG with their lies will proclaim this event a success.

I paid for it with doubloons lying around and only spent to the tune of a T8 premium as I completed quite a lot of directives. So that's that. There aren't many PRs going around, so the number of whales that paid full price might be lower than you think.

Not really. Their sales "tactics" are incredibly ham-fisted. I'm a whale, there's barely anything that tickles me anymore. WG is just lazily churning out boring premiums and gold event material not worth the price. Not really attractive material to sell.

Well the issue is, the whole event is like stew. The first time it is served it's ok, the second time it's better, as it had time to mature. But now it's just barely flavored thin soup, where you are lucky to find a piece of meat. And this is all because the Devs don't care, the whole company doesn't care. Look at the PR event.

Just completed the third directive. And there was no ship in any of the bundles I opened. I have grabbed all of the tokens available until now and i have received no ships in the free bundles. Shows that the "early access" is a joke, just like WG.

I wouldn't call it a feeling but more like a fact. But save for pushing more underwhelming premiums and screwing up balance WG seems to have abandoned the game. Oh well, when they push OP subs out, everyone will rejoice and uninstall.

I'd rather watch a competent streamer actually testing and commenting on the new ships etc. I consider my monthly sub to Flamuu well invested money, he at least can take apart a ship and create a comment highlighting strengths and weaknesses. I mean there are several streamers like him, iChase or Flambass come to mind. They are all better than the official WG stream.

You didn't miss the pig flag, it was never given out. I remember that the event was moved by a week due to CV rework and we never got any chance to get the year of the pig flag. @MrConway@Sehales is there any chance we can get the year of the pig flag? We never got a chance to earn it last year.
