They also did this to the 127mm American guns. According to reddit users no changes in pen will be applied to them. So Atlanta and US secondaries will still pen 26mm with IFHE and Russians will pen 26mm with it. Edited the values to the new 25% pen value of IFHE.

Yup, pretty stoked for their work. At least contrary to WG they listen to their customers. CA does that too with Total War. I have just reset every IFHE captain I have. looks like I might completely move my secondary BB captains, as both the French and American ones had IFHE.

It doesn't for me. I already see them as scummy penny pinchers who would rather nickel and dime their customers instead of making the game a fun experience. they deserve no pity nor respect. And least of all money. That's a sad truth.

Hey @MrConway what about the penetration of the 127mm guns on Atlanta/Flint and American BBs secondaries? How is their penetration going to change? Or are they exempted? Spee is already a bit soft, even with the heal. Oh well, it's a German premium so what did I expect?

After observing the internal clan discussion and looking here and on reddit, I think this change will not impact Hurricane and Typhoon clans, but will kill off CBs for many Storm and below clans.

So instead of creating new ships you went for a lazy reskin with gimmicks? Slow clap.

I'll bite. What advantage? I have only known Khaba post nerfs. Post-CV rework the ship has become a chore to play. She should be played like other main line VMF DDs. That's a given. So what's your point? Sorry but with the massive AP weakness and CVs just ignoring your speed and armor plate, the first things that goes out the window are tactics. You can't play on top of your game if a BB just shaves off half your health because you were spotted by a plane. In other words you want the ship to be kept power creeped by Kleber, Mogador, Tashkent, and even Grozovoi? Please do not equate under powered with unique. PS: Checking the forum for Khabarovsk posts I wonder why so many people are of the opinion that the ship needs a buff? They must not know how to have fun. /s

Congratulations. Good for you that Khaba works well when you play it. Have you thought, that because you are a unicum player, your experience in the ship might differ from what others get? Just because it's fun for you doesn't mean it is fun for everyone else. In my opinion the current state of the Khaba is a mistake, wrapped in error, surrounded by design flaws.

The hull of the Albemarle/Cheshire is the hull of the Neptune without smoke. And Neptune is not known for being armored.

As @Panoceksaid the French are a delight. Shame about HIV, but until T9 they are all great and fun to play, even solo. If you can stomach the thin armor at T5-6 then the Germans are very solid. Not OP awesome but good in whatever they do. Also fun, but not for everyone, USN heavies. If you can learn to aim with the slow shells, you will enjoy putting the P in pain for others.

But where does she shine? It's not like T8 premium cruisers are rare. Cheshire needs to compete with both Atago, Wichita, and Prinz Eugen in the heavy cruiser category, and those are very solid premiums. The problem is the combination of all those characteristics. As shown in my previous post Cheshire doesn't really have anything where she is good, she's not nimble, she doesn't have range, she's not really fast. As someone who has Albemarle, the heal matters little when the ship eats citadels from all sides. The guns do look good, but Cheshire has the least amount of them at tier. Until you you fire your guns and realize that you can't dodge the return fire and get deleted. From my point of view the Cheshire is an interesting idea, served up in a way that is not appealing at all with too many drawbacks.

The armor profile combined with a very clumsy handling make her inferior to other heavy cruisers, which have either a better turning circle, rudder shift, speed, or compensate with range. Cheshire shines in none of these categories: A simple comparison shows that ships with a similar combination of below average turning circle and rudder shift have all better range (Hipper, Martell, Eugen). Others have better rudder shift, to juke enemy shells (Mogami, Atago, Baltimore), Amalfi has speed and a tight turn. Wichita just zips around everyone. What do Albemarle and Cheshire have? A massive weak point in the form of a citadel step above the water that makes deleting them easy as they trundle into the slaughter. Even the super heal does not compensate for being blapped by a BB into the citadel, as this ship can't tank anything with such a weak spot. So, asking 37€ for a ship like that? Good luck.
