The shima can push the smoke button after you fire, after that you will get deleted. Kleber does not have the same practical concealment, because on it you don't need to compensate for a horrible rudder shift worse than some of the cruisers or pitiful range. So you can grab concealment module for slot 5. Then you can spend your skill points on CE, as you don't need to compensate for a gun range that is literally worse than that of some torpedoboats. So you don't lose anything bringing the Kleber's concealment to 7,7km. Try that in Khaba and you will be hobbling yourself. And speaking of ignorance. You do not own a Khaba on the live server, you only played it on PTS. I have 73 battles in it, it is my most played T10 DD and it has good stats. Contrary to you, I speak from experience.

You can take a donkey to Ascot, but don't expect any prizes. The Khaba with its bad concealment will not surprise any Shimas in a cap, unless you come around a corner. At best they have a 2,5 km buffer where they outspot you. At worst it's over 4 km. And even with a stealth build you have to close to at least 6 km to fire the torps. A bad option to focus on compared to your guns. What I believe in is playing to the strengths of the ship.

I'm looking for help with a small problem. I'm trying to identify the medals the captains of the ships wear ingame. Has anyone done it before? Does anyone have access to the captain images at every rank and how the decorations change based on their rank? (Found the unpacker and extracted the images) Right now I have the following decorations identified: IJN: 10p Captain-?-Order of the Golden Kite (2 different classes worn?) USN: 10p Captain-Silver Star-Navy and Marine Corps Medal (Medal for lifesaving outside of combat) 19p Captain-Navy Cross-Distinguished Service Medal-Silver Star-Defense Superior Service Medal (Established 1976)-Navy and Marine Corps Medal RN10p Captain-Military Cross-British Empire Medal 19p Captain-Order of the Bath-Victoria Cross-Distinguished Service Order-Military Cross-British Empire Medal KM 10p Captain-Knight's Cross of the iron Cross French 10p Captain-Legion of Honour, Knight-Combatants Cross 19p Captain-Legion of Honour, Commander-Military Medal-Combatants Cross Polish 10p Captain-?-? 19p captain-Virtuti Militari-Cross of Valour-Polonia Restitutia, Fifth class-Cross of Merit for Bravery-? I disagree, here's why. Khabarovsk has good survivability thanks to the heal, but this is nullified by the fact that shells 280mm and up still do full damage. This means that one BB salvo hitting you will remove all of the benefits of the heal in a second. With the pitifully short range you are very likely to get hit like that. And you can't really juke shots with a slow cruiser rudder shift. Compare this to Kleber. Kleber has superior speed and maneuverability. It has the special section damage characteristic, where a section of the ship can be reduced to 0 HP without destroying the ship. It has better range out of the box than Khaba with AFT. It can mount the range module keeping it far away from enemy ships. And you don't need to spend skill points on it to counteract its weaknesses, you can go stealth and torp with much better torpedoes without paying anything for it elsewhere. There is no point in playing Khabarovsk as long as Tashkent, Mogador, and Kleber exist. Yeas, because building a ship around torpedoes on a gunboat makes sense.

Discussion thread for "some interesting info around the world"

Colorado reloads in 30s. So it has worse reload on worse guns. -
The game is not being killed off. If WG wanted to do it they could just set a cut off point, make an announcement to the tune of "we have decided to end the support for the game and will close the servers on day x" and be done with it with little drama. Instead, what I believe, is that with the majority of resources focused on the "next big thing" the remaining parts of the game are being neglected. That's why we had so many cut and paste directive based events that just swapped optics and ships. That's why the ships in testing are not being properly balanced. I even believe that the new campaign was planned as a set of directives but negative feedback made them change it. 2019 was all about the mostly failed CV rework, 2020 will be all about the Sub introduction, which will in my opinion also fail as WG will bend over backwards to make them attractive and powerful balance be damned. 2021 might be the year of dropping player numbers and even dumber decisions, as WG/Lesta will scramble to find the next big thing ignoring the fact that they should have invested into what they already have and are good at. They aren't killing the game, they just look so incompetent it appears like it.

And most likely you will have to pay cash for this horrible experience. -

California, another entry in the dead on arrival premium category by WG. Another Poltava. A ship for the Christmas box stuffing. -
So you are of the opinion that those changes will compensate for the fact that Khaba has the third worst reload, third worst base range, worst concealment, and third worst turning circle? You also forget that the Khaba torps are the slowest at T10 by a wide margin, so upping the range won't save them from the enemy dodging. And 8km is still suicide range for Khaba since she eats all the pens.

I'd love to say what i think about the community managers now, but I'd rather not be banned. I love how WG does everything to drive people away from the game.

It's only the mission duration. The mission you get from watching the stream today.

Haven't had one since last month... They even fixed the sound and optics! Nice. -
No, the community manager's responses just show that wg has not bothered to educate them about the basics of contract law and good sales practice. They try to show themselves as generous gift givers, the Russians are having none of it. But the camo decision is firmly set as "not final".
-
We can be ignored, Russian players will be not. From the Russian forum: Posted by the Lead Community Manager Partizan_Kin. Who thinks that WG is now looking for big oars to paddle this decision back?

I still have some dubs and have been waiting to buy some permas for ships like SinOP or Halland etc. I already stopped buying anything, but now I won't even spend the dubs I have as it is just a bad investment. https://clips.twitch.tv/DepressedTrustworthySamosaYouWHY Just food for thought.
-
No I don't, but you are actively being obtuse and misinterpreting what I write because you have no argument.
-
Why are you talking about the ship and not the camo? I explicitly reference only the T10 silver Russian cruiser perma camo I bought, not the ship. The discussion is not about the ship. I do not keep the T10 silver Russian cruiser perma camo in the current situation, it is being removed by WG. I paid for that camo, with the understanding I will only be able to use it on the T10 silver Russian cruiser and not on any other ship. I never wanted to buy a T10 special Russian cruiser perma camo and I would never had bought it. Any changes to that camo to my detriment, which is in this case not being able to use it on the T10 silver Russian cruiser as was my intent when buying it, is a legal breach of contract.
-
That's not the issue. That's a strawman. The issue is the breach of contract between WG and people who spent real world cash for the T10 silver Russian cruiser perma camo and are now losing access to it.
-
I bought a perma camo for the silver T10 Russian cruiser with the understanding I will keep enjoying it on my T10 Russian silver cruiser permanently. If I knew the ship will be turned into a special/premium ship I would never have bought the perma camo in the first place.

Please show me where WG explicitly advertised the fact that the Moskva perma camo is only early access? Otherwise it's a bait & switch.
-
It's not the case reason but the resulting precedent that is important. Which is that EULA have no value in the EU if they go against consumer interests and rights. An anonymous tip in one of the ECCs is enough. That's not right. Blyskawica can still be bought for cash. Blyskawica is still marked as a premium ship in the client. Just because the way the ship is obtained was changed, doesn't change the inherent traits of the ship. Moscov is currently the T10 silver Russian cruiser. It is a silver ship for which people have obtained a paid perma camo. With the split Moskva will change into a T10 special ship. The perma camo will become unobtainable for cash as it will be provided automatically for anyone obtaining the ship. Thos who wish to continue using a perma camo on the T10 Russian silver cruiser will need to buy it again. People who have bought the perma camo bought it with the understanding they are buying it for a silver ship, not a special ship. If they would not buy the camo if they knew that the ship will become a special ship, then we have a problem.
-
Which have no value in the European Union as decided by the highest EU court. Source. Another source. EU law is not very accepting towards arbitrary terms of use.
-
I'd love to have a consumer rights lawyer take a look at this issue. People have bought the permanent camo for a tier 10 silver Russian cruiser. With the split they will lose it. Instead they will get a tier 10 coal Russian cruiser that automatically comes with a perma camo and which cannot be obtained without it (example - Thunderer). The exact name and model of the ship is irrelevant, as the inherent traits are that the ship is the tier 10 silver ship of the Russian cruiser line. This might be covered under the same laws that keep premiums from being nerfed, in Germany it's called Arglistige Täuschung or dolus malus in Latin. In the EU it's a criminal act. I'm not a lawyer, just a former salesman, but I'd love to hear a lawyer chime in on this.

A few pages back I wrote how WG doesn't respect us. Looking at their responses here I can say "and they want to show it!" I have never seen a company spit in the face of a paying customer and then double down on it trying to gaslight them. There will be no change to the perma camo decision. Do not buy anything for this game.
