    canarias , extremely useless

Hm. That is interesting. As far as I know, the issue you point out with shell trajectory could be amended to some degree with a drag coefficient, but I will forward this, and try to get an answer for as to why we are using incorrect shell weight for the calculation. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Public Test 0.11.3 - General feedback

Hey! Thanks for this I actually really like the suggestion for such a coupon for community tokens, I'll pitch the idea As for the reasons why, indeed balance changes might still be applied. In general we are trying to at least let you see the ship in port, so you can view and study it. Previously you would not receive the ship at all. Unfortunately for now there are no plans to make it available to play dockyard ships in PTS. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

    canarias , extremely useless

There should be no shell weight listed in port. The shell weight used is 85kg, would that be incorrect? It is true though that canarias has an absurdly high Krupp value. Could you clarify further what the shell weight should be, in that case? Fair seas captain! ~Sera
  4. My point was about the way they play. As for the rest of it, I even stated, that this is also the case for PTS and other temporary battle modes. please do not misconstrue my argument or twist what I say. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Public Test 0.11.3 - General feedback

Again, we are simply providing players with additional ways to view and study the ship, which was previously (before repulse) not possible. The reason it is not available to play is because she is still a test ship for now. Also please stop using caps and please also try to be more cautious with your language Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Public Test 0.11.3 - General feedback

Rather than telling us that we should remove them, if you could tell us what you think is wrong with them in your eyes, we could maybe make steps to improve it. This way, it gives us nothing actionable. It is clearly mentioned in the article, just like last time that the ship will not be available to play. And just like last time the response will be the same. We wanted to give players the opportunity to also view the beautiful dockyard ships in port, and examine them carefully before it finally goes live on the main server. It also allows players to study it's armor model and most up to date stats, as well as of course admire the ship itself, rather than not giving the players something at all. Fair seas captain! ~Sera
  7. :D The best way for us to get reliable data, that will resemble a real environment is to test it in the actual environment. Unfortunately things like separate servers and separate modes, which we have done prior to this point, do not give the most accurate results. People do not play nearly the same way they do on test servers or temporary battle modes as they do in random battles. Not to mention that the amount of participants will never be as high as for randoms, considering the fact that not many people will go out of their way to play something other than randoms, let alone install an entirely different client to test it. This is true for PTS, this is true for most temporary battle modes. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

    Public Test 0.11.3 - Dockyard

Dockyard The building of Pan-American battleship VIII Atlântico commences in Update 0.11.3. She will leave the famous British Clydebank Dockyard that saw IX Marlborough sail out in the past. Atlântico carries ten 381 mm guns in 5 twin turrets with only one shell type—AP shells. Event Rules The construction process at the Dockyard comprises 22 phases. These shipbuilding phases can be progressed through by completing Dockyard combat mission groups or by spending 1,750 Doubloons to pass through each phase. The combat mission groups span two updates—0.11.3 and 0.11.4—and the Dockyard itself will remain in your Ports until the start of Update 0.11.5. In total, you can progress through 19 out of 22 shipbuilding phases by completing Dockyard combat missions. Please note: New battleship VIII Atlântico will not be available on the Public Test server. Check it out here: https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/general-news/bulletin-0113/

    Public Test 0.11.3 - Dockyard

It is indeed intended that you cannot play the ship. It is for port only, as it is still a test ship currently. regarding the reset and no refund of doubloons, this is the PTS server, which means you are given a large number of doubloons that wont reflect on your main account anyway. It should not have any kind of negative impact. This also allows all players to certainly complete the task for 1000 CT. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

If there was a mode without CVs....

As you can see in this devblog https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/309 we already changed the course of for example stun bombs based on feedback, and for this, we will also keep relying on feedback to improve the situation for them. Support CVs are actually something that players have been asking for since the CV rework happened. Actually, this part is not very intensive on our 3D team. As you know we are also trying to address the issue that is the excessive spotting capabilities of CVs. We are still testing different concepts that would feel good, and be intuitive to both parties. There will be additional concept tests for CV spotting changes and we will hopefully have something that we and everyone else is happy with. As for support CVs, I can't really say what their future will look like, as so much can change in the meantime. We will keep you updated on them though. Fair seas captain! ~Sera
  11. Superships in the Tech Tree In Update 0.11.3, superships will be added to the Tech Tree. After several months of testing in various game modes, they are going to become a logical continuation of their branches and will be available to the following players: Those who have researched or purchased at least three Tier X ships. Those who have researched a Tier X ship of the corresponding branch. In Update 0.11.3, the ships you're already familiar with— Satsuma, Hannover, Condé, Annapolis, Yamagiri, Zorkiy, United States, and Eagle—will be added to the Tech Tree. If the Research Bureau is available to you and you purchased a supership, she will not be reset and will remain in your Port after you reset a branch of researchable ships, Adding superships to the Tech Tree is an important step for our game. We'll keep a close eye on how they perform, as well as your feedback, and make changes if necessary. We want these ships to be an exciting new set of playstyles and gameplay experiences.
  12. I don't think I understand what you are saying, can you clarify? These are 2 different statements One is about the base idea of something that allows you to enable your allies, and the damage will count for you. That was liked. However the actual mechanic in which it was implemented was both negatively received by the community as well as testers, and clearly did not fit the base idea that we were going for. You can contact a Community Manager if you feel like you had a bad interaction with our customer support and we will do our best to try and help the situation. You can contact us through forum or discord, mostly. It is also possible to contact us elsewhere, or leave it in the dedicated customer support feedback channel here on the forums, but contacting us directly is usually easier. Personally, I prefer the use of discord for such things, but feel free to reach out to me on the forum as well for such things. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

    General Submarines related discussions

I understand. Thank you for your post. Fair seas captain! ~Sera
  19. Thanks for your comments. I appreciate this post. I also want to draw your attention to this devblog: https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/309 Please read through it. We definitely heard your feedback on this. This was not my intention with my post. I meant that there is definitely things that we can still work on, and we are aware of it. We are aware that there are things that may still need changing. Submarines are certainly one of those things, and we will take it step by step, iteration by iteration until the result is in a place where we like it to be. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

If there was a mode without CVs....

Regarding your first comments, different teams work on different teams. Ship modellers do that, terra does maps and gamemodes, and 2D does 2D art. We can't suddenly turn these people into game designers, developers or make them part of the balance team. We can't suddenly make our 2D team design and model ships. It is unfortunately not that simple, and different teams work on different aspects. As for support CVs, as I mentioned already a couple of times, it is something that is very far in the future for now, and just a very early concept. We also released additional info about it just 5 minutes ago: https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/309 A lot of this also based on your (community) feedback. There are already plans being made to test additional things for CV spotting, which we will share with you, when they are ready. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

    F.Sherman Depth Charges

Public Test 0.11.3 - General feedback

We can't really do much with this. Can you be a bit more specific? Same as above, can you be a bit more specific. What exactly makes it difficult? looking at your initial message, and the messages that followed, including this one, I would not call that respectful. As I mentioned in my message, please head over to the bug report post and add screenshots so that we can investigate the issue Fair seas captain! ~Sera

    Developer Bulletin for Update 0.11.3

It should be the same as it is to purchase - 5.000 doubloons. + port slot CVs have received a lot of nerfs to a lot of their mechanics since the introduction of rework CVs, and we are still working on a solution for CV spotting. It may not be perfect, but we are working on it, and as you can see in the way submarines are being tested, it is a clear difference compared to CVs. Fair seas captain! ~Sera
  25. This is not achievable for a very large majority of the playerbase. This is possible for maybe the top 1%. I have done the same myself, but you will still run into some economic issues here or there from time to time. And of course to stay at TX at that point you still need to be performing at a way above average level. I don't think you're stupid, and neither does WG as a whole. Quite the opposite. We know all of you are very passionate and invested in the game. It is certainly an idea, but either way it boils down to the fundamental idea of having to pay credits to play them, instead of earning them. This should have people play other tiers to get the credits they need to play these ships, and make it a decision whether they want to grind credits to unlock other content, or play superships. In the end that should limit their popularity. Please keep in mind that commander XP and free XP are both calculated off of regular XP, so it also increases the amount of free and commander XP you receive. if you manage to perform very well against higher tier ships, yes, it would be. I don't know what will happen in 3 years. It is quite far away. For now what I know is that there are more superships to come, and that they will end up as tech tree ships. Fair seas captain! ~Sera
