You will get as many as nine destroyers split between three factions: Octopus, Moray Eel, and Barracuda. To commemorate the launch of the event, we're also bringing back the special Port. Everything you need to know Starts: Thu. 17 Mar. 06:00 CET (UTC+1) / your local time: Thu. 17 Mar. 06:00 Ends: Thu. 14 Apr. 06:00 CET (UTC+1) / your local time: Thu. 14 Apr. 07:00 The event will unfold on the Flooded City map. Battles will be fought between four teams, each with three ships. You can fight either in a Division or solo. At the beginning of the battle, all ships have no consumable charges. Collect consumable charges from special zones and remember that each time you destroy an enemy ship, you will also obtain a charge for a random consumable. The map is plagued by Wild Fire which encompasses the battle area. The safe zone begins to shrink from the start of the battle. By the end of the match, only a small portion of the map will remain safe. Watch out! Ships gradually lose HP while they remain engulfed in Wild Fire. In the Savage Battle, all ships have reinforced bows. When ramming enemy ships, you will take less damage while causing more. The event is open to all players who have reached Access Level 12. Once the event is over and all ships have been removed from your accounts, all XP you earned will be transferred to I Orlan. Battle results. The amount of XP and Credits that you obtain at the end of each battle now depends on the place your team takes—the higher the place, the more resources you'll obtain! When a team has lost all of their ships, it is out of the battle. The team with the last surviving ship (or ships) on the battlefield is the winner. Special Destroyers Each faction consists of three destroyers modified specifically for the Savage Battle. The characteristics of each subsequent ship in a faction will outmatch those of the preceding ship. However, the better the ship, the more resources it will take to service her. To access the second ship in a faction, you will need to earn 10,000 Base XP on the first one, and another 10,000 Base XP on the second ship to get to the third one. Each ship is helmed by a unique Commander. All XP they earn will be transferred to Elite Commander XP. You can use it for re-training and re-specializing any of your other Commanders or resetting their skills. Octopus VIII Messer, IX Sea Devil, and X Stealthedo all boast good concealment and powerful torpedoes. They are also equipped with a secondary battery. Prototypes: X Z-52, X Shimakaze, and X Daring. Moray Eel VIII Carnal, IX Lancet, and X Rumble are agile, maneuverable ships with powerful propulsion. The main guns, which are operated by artificial intelligence, are devastating. However, their torpedoes are rather weak and slow. Prototypes: X Yueyang, X Gearing, and X Kléber. Barracuda VIII Atomic Rage, IX Mizu-Jet, and X Seascythe. Expect high speeds, direct operation of their strong main battery guns, and torpedoes with moderate characteristics. Prototypes: X Harugumo, X Grozovoi, and X Khabarovsk.

Heads Up - the upcoming WoWs v0.11.4 will bring back the "Premium Ship Containers" in the Armory for the "Community Tokens" !
Seraphice replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
You can always still use it to get new ships once they are added to the container content, so you won't have to purchase them. It is simply the intention to be able to obtain those premium ships, not doubloons. Fair seas captain! ~Sera- 23 replies

Seraphice replied to Swiss__Admiral's topic in General Discussion
Correct. There is no "unique ships only" limitation and that goes for superships as well. Fair seas captain! ~Sera -
I believe the same applies to Daring's AP shells, as they are also theoretically SAP, though are AP in the game. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Hello! It should certainly be possible when you have the TX researched. As for how this works with resetting and purchasing, I actually do not know. Will try to clarify. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Seraphice replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
Hello! My excuses, I was out sick yesterday and unable to respond. As for the premium ship containers, their compensation was changed to credits. The reason they were taken out was because we did not want people to "farm" doubloons for community tokens. With this changed, they were reintroduced Fair seas captain! ~Sera- 23 replies

Most certainly that would be a possibility, and if absolutely necessary we will look to limit such ships as well, as with TX ships. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Clan Battles 17 - ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Seraphice replied to Swiss__Admiral's topic in General Discussion
1. The unique ships only rule does not apply this season 2. We will have to see and monitor how large of an issue this will be. In general when we keep in mind which kind of people and clans play Clan Battles, this would be less of an issue than something like brawls. This in the end had little to no impact on Superships in clan battles. This was simply me explaining why Beat the Pro worked this way, and explaining the reasoning behind superships in the tournament. Tournament play and Clan battles is also not always the same. In this case as I mentioned the settings of the season were adjusted based on what can be considered the "loud minority" if we're going with that. I already addressed that the comment was not specifically geared towards superships, but the general rules of the season, such as amount of Battleships and the Unique Ships only limit. In most of the leagues, up until you Typhoon, it is possible to climb and have fun with pretty much every lineup. There is no hard defined meta, and people play more things that suit their own. I actually experienced this last season, when we started playing from squall up to high storm with a lot of people who had absolutely no Clan Battle experience. Now while we were following something more similar to what could be called the meta at the time, it would have still been possible playing things people are comfortable with. In the end the actions and strategies of the players are the most important at these levels. When talking about Superships in CBs, I kind of want to refer to something that MalteseKnight said yesterday on stream. In the end they are still like any other existing ship. They have ways to be dealt with and counterplayed like all other surface ships. They are still vulnerable, and while they have strong offensive options with something such as burst fire, these also have significant drawbacks, especially for a setting such as clan battles, where not finishing off a target with it, and then having to reload for 30s is going to cost you. -
Clan Battles 17 - ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Seraphice replied to Swiss__Admiral's topic in General Discussion
I did not mention this. I mentioned that it is not black and white, as well as the fact there are more discords than just the ones I linked, some private, some semi-public. In the end all of that feedback matters too. I did not say anything regarding a silent majority, I simply pointed out that the perspective is not the same for all types of players. Clan Battles 17 - ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Seraphice replied to Swiss__Admiral's topic in General Discussion
We always collect feedback from all kinds of different sources. Twitch, Discord, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, various other social medias that are not used in the west, and of course the forum. Just because a player shares their opinion on discord, does not mean their opinion is less valid than when it is shared on the forum. I used this as an example, to put into perspective the scope of the change. It is not the same for everyone. This doesn't mean that just because there are other people who say its ok, that we will ignore those who say it's not. That is most certainly not the case, but it is important to realise that for everything, there are differing opinions, and it is about finding a balance. In this case as I pointed out previously, as Clan Battles is the main competitive mode, it is important to especially keep in mind the opinions of the competitive players, as we also mentioned recently in a devblog. That alongside the discussions happening in other community and clan discords can give a good picture. Of course there are also negative comments, and I will not deny this, but to say that simply everyone says that it is bad, and nobody wants this, is not correct. As you brought up the T6 season, while we did try it a couple times, to try and accomodate for those as well, who liked playing lower tiers instead, we saw that there were quite a lot of people who still disliked it, and hence, since our retrospective post about that season, we decided to abandon that idea for now. The same can be said with CVs. We did include CVs for a couple seasons, however now we see a 3rd season again without any CVs. There is nothing to say that superships will stay in CBs either, it will all depend on the results and feedback. Fair seas captain! ~Sera -

This is not being honest to me or yourself. Please read again over the actual comments, in this case this is simply cherry picking. The survey indeed is for King of the Sea specifically. It was also done at a time when superships were in very early stages of development, namely 6 months ago. It is important to not omit the details here. When we take a look at the survey for King of the Sea, it is very different from Clan Battles. King of the Sea is an international tournament catered towards the highest end of competitive, designed to be a consistent and determining factor for who really is the best. This also plays part in the changes we make, or rather not make to King of the Sea, as opposed to Clan Battles, where a larger majority of players interact and participate. For King of the Sea we actively work with the top teams and seriously take into considerations all the feedback they and the coordinators give. Any of them will be able to confirm this statement, out of those who are part of the focus group or KotS Coordinator group. The reason why we work so closely and implement little changes to King of the Sea is because of the aforementioned, that we want to keep things mostly consistent to have a consistent determining factor and metric to determine who is the best team of them all. Of course sometimes changes will happen as the game always involves, but it is not as radical of a change as with Clan Battles or smaller tournaments Fair seas captain! ~Sera -
Hey guys @ColonelPete @Yedwy@Panocek After checking it seems that it is indeed correct, and it is indeed for balance reasons. A lighter shell was chosen for getting the gameplay values of penetration just right for where we wanted it to be. as for krupp/drag, the shell mass affects the penetration of the shell over distance and at the moment of firing. For a heavier shell it would retain a lot more penetration at range, which isn't the intended design, hence why we used increased Krupp and lighter shell. We will update the description of the ship in port to reflect the correct shell weight Fair seas captain! ~Sera

You can head over to the King of the Sea discord server and read the messages yourself there following the announcement. I have provided the links below. https://discord.gg/TV3weJ7 https://discord.com/channels/252881380885659648/252881380885659648/961679043831398541 Fair seas captain! ~Sera -
Clan Battles 17 - ARE YOU SERIOUS?
Seraphice replied to Swiss__Admiral's topic in General Discussion
I guess it is important to shed some light here in this case. Following the announcement, most of the hardcore competitive people that spend a lot of time in clan battles actually were quite positive about this season so far. There will always be a divide on the different types of players and their wants. Some people may want lower tier seasons because they prefer lower tiers, others only want high tier or TX. Some people wont mind superships, other people will certainly mind. It is then after all important to look at the wants and needs of everyone. However it should be considered that for Clan Battles specifically, as the main competitive mode in our game, along with the major tournaments we organise, it is important to take into account those in Typhoon and Hurricane as well, who spend a tremendous amount of time in clan battles season after season. Regarding Beat the Pro. This was part of an initiative of new types of tournaments that would change both gameplay for participants and the experience for viewers. To introduce a more casual tournament with a different format that may attract different types of players and viewers. Superships were added as a personal request on my end, to gauge how they would be received in tournaments and competitive play, such as King of the Sea or other highly competitive tournaments. This was a good place to do so, as this was a more casual format and allowed us to gauge how it was received by people from all kinds of different skill levels as well. While it was part of the tournament, it was not the main focal point of the tournament. Fair seas captain! ~Sera -

We are not forcing you to buy this. It is purely optional. She was removed not that long ago and was available for free xp for a very long time. When you compare her to other T7 premium Battleships, you will see that the price of 10.000 doubloons actually lines up with other battleships, such as Hood and Duke of York. Even if you use the 1:35 doubloon:freexp conversion you would still end up at 10.700 doubloons. Fair seas captain! ~Sera -
it is also important to realise the note that was attached. The actual gameplay effect of this was extremely minimal, hence why it was removed. Additionally it is important to note that the way submarine pings are now visible has been changed, to also allow ships to see it when they are past 8km, by removing the actually visible ping, but adding the location of the ship whenever it pings on the water surface. This should make it more visible and allow more counterplay in using airstrikes on submarines that are actively pinging Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Hello! The maximum allowed amount of superships is 2. A ship's popularity and efficiency should be taken into account still, even if superships are being implemented. We will also be keeping a close eye on the superships, as this is going to be the first time we have superships in clan battles to begin with. Fair seas captain! ~Sera

Stalingrad wasn't popular in the last 2 seasons and I don't expect it to change. Hello guys. I mentioned that the season was adjusted based on community feedback. I did not mention that it was specifically with regards to superships. It was related to the actual format of the season. I should have clarified in this case. With regards to superships. Superships will become part of the tech tree and fully integrated into the game in patch 0.11.3. We have already experimented with superships previously in tournaments for example, in the Beat the Pro tournament, where we allowed up to 3 superships. In this case we are also reducing the amount of superships to 2 for Clan Battles, and limiting the amount of Battleships to 1. Fair seas captain! ~Sera- 88 replies

You have to remember that the format for clan battles and the way teams play is extremely different from random battles. It is not very common to be in such scenarios. If you are in open water in annapolis in clan battles, you will die. If you are using an island, there is no good reason to use annapolis over Des Moines, since you wont be using your back turret in 95% of cases anyway, and the legmod will give you increased options. I have played at every possible level of clan battles, from squall to hurricane, and can say that this will hold true for every level.- 88 replies
