It just appears counter-intuitive commercially to leave it so long for a hard reboot when peak time for the EU server is kinda now. The only thing that would make sense is if they need to see the load on the server reduced to a minimum before a reboot, but surely a hard reboot is a hard reboot no? -

I played my one and only battle in the Tirpitz for the gold run (250 dbloons), no idea if I got this as the game froze in the post battles screen before the end game data is usually shown. I cannot remember how many dbloons I have, so no way of knowing if they have been credited. The only thing I can check is the x/10 info when I can eventually log in again - somewhat frustrating.... -

Is this affecting the EU server only? -
I have an issue with MM in clan battles as it's evident that clans get pitched against teams from both higher and lower leagues. This doesn't happen in any other sporting / gaming arena, so why here? As a clan, we get no satisfaction from being blown out the water by a team two leagues above us, nor do we get any pleasure from destroying a team from two leagues below us! According to WG, the search engine is timed, so it will initially look for the closest match up and then move away from this if a 'like for like' MM cannot be found, but this can and does create MM with teams of lower or much higher ability so an unfair contest ensues. I get that they don't want players to wait too long for a battle, but I'd rather sit there another 60 seconds than be forced to play a team with far more skillful players. To offset this, it looks like points losses or gains are mitigated dependent on the team being played, but come on WG! Clan members would surely prefer to play against others of similar ability!
