Hello, all! :) First of all I want to apologize my rather bad English. I hope it's understandable and will not cause even more questions than answers. :) Ok, here we go: I hope some one has time to answer a question regarding Wows crashes on a relatively brand new computer. I'll appreciate any (good) ideas and shared knowledge, because I'm not an advanced computer technician. :) The computer has been returned to the supplier on warranty. They totally reinstalled Win10, updated bios and bench tested the computer. Nothing more. It's so annoying to experience this, because I usually receive penalties for unsporting behavior "leaving" the game, and because I have an older MSI Apache laptop, that runs Wows without any problems. I can describe the problem like this: After the game starts, it can take 10 seconds or 3 minutes into the game, then the computer goes almost totally down: The screen goes black, and the cooling fan goes to full speed. This happens without any kind of warning at all. The only thing I can do to get out of the "mess", is to switch off the computer by using the main power switch on the rear side. Earlier I generated a report and sent it to Wows. They concluded that there where some "kernel" and "temperature" issues, and they recommended me to let at skilled computer technician deal with this. The provider said "*It's nothing wrong with the computer." Today I also googled the problem again, found a link to a temporay fix, but the page could not be found. This is the link to the actual web page: https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/topic/112865-amd-cpu-crash-fix/ Some facts about the computer (desktop) which I hope could be useful: Fractal Design Define C Black fans: 1x 120mm front, 1x 120mm rear. mITX, mATX, ATX, FD-CA-DEF-C-BK ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 DUAL EVO Graphic card, PCI-Express 3.0, 6GB, GDDR6, 1365/1680MHz, Turing, DUAL-RTX2060-6G-EVO AMD Ryzen 9 3900X Prosessor Socket-AM4, 12-Core, 24-Thread, 3.8/4.60GHz, 105W, 7nm, incl. cooler, 00-100000023BOX Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 115x/2011/2011-3/2066, AM2/AM3, 800~2000 RPM,65 CFM, 6,5-26 dBA, Prodnr: RR-212S-20PK-R1 Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 2933MHz 32GB 2x16GB DDR4 2933MHz (PC4-23400) CL19 XMP 2.0, sort, CM4X16GE2933Z19W8-KPL Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 2933MHz 32GB 2x16GB DDR4 2933MHz (PC4-23400) CL19 XMP 2.0, sort, CM4X16GE2933Z19W8-KPL Kingston A2000 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD M.2 2280, PCIe 3.0 x4, NVMe, 3D NAND, up to 2200/2000MB/s, 600TBW, SA2000M8/1000G ASUS PRIME B450-PLUS, Socket-AM4 Mainboard, ATX, B450, DDR4,2x PCIe-x16, 1x M.2, USB 3.1, PRIME B450-PLUS Corsair TX550M, 550W PSU ATX 12V v2-4, 80 PLUS Gold, Semi Modular, 6+2-pin PCIe, CP-9020133-EU Windows 10 Pro OA. Any one with some ideas how to solve this? ... I will appreciate any ideas how to fix this, because the computer is useless today. Have a nice day/evening/night! :) Kindly regards :)

Hi all. (Or only those who will read this...). First of all: The game is very scenic. The detailed landscaping and the ships makes it (sometimes) fun to play. But, I have a few thoughts I want to share. 1. Invisibility. Some ships, cruisers and destroyers, are equipped with the funny thing called "smoke". And their captains tactics is something like this: A) Find an island. B) Hide most of the ship behind that island. C) Start the smoke generator. D) FIre upon enemies that can't see you or spot you. By doing things this way, the relatively small ship can make disproportionately damage to (very) large ships. I suggest to change the smoke module, so it works for a shorter time. The reason is that a "small" cruiser or destroyer shouldn't be able to cause so much damage to a much bigger ship. 2. Torpedoes. In some battles I count 40-50 torpedoes in the water. At the same time! In one battle, I was almost killed by 6 of 20 (!!!!) torpedoes, fired at me (Gr. Kurfürst) from an INVISIBLE ship - far, far away. 20 torps launched withing 5 seconds has, in my opinion, nothing to do in a battle, even if it's a game battle. 3. Firing capabilities of some cruisers. Some cruisers have an immense fire capability. They vommit 8-12 shells every 5 seconds (or so).The "poor" battleship has nothing to answer with, if the range is around 20 kms. At this range, the only thing the cruisers captain has to do, is to turn slighly and hit the "brake pedal" and avoid the saloves from the battleship. And then he can continue to fire at the battleship. In real, neither the destroyer nor the cruiser would have any chance against a well armoured battleship. The battle ship would be superior in almost any aspect, except from the torps and (in some cases) the speed. The solution could be to decrease the distance to the enemy warship, but then you probably will have 15 torpedoes in your face within 27 seconds... I suggest to even out these differences. For example by lowering the firing rate of the cruisers and make them a little less maneuverable, compared to the battleships. In my opinion, it's sometimes useless for the battleship to try to pick up the glove against a cruiser - or in some cases the destroyer as well. So, based on this, I'm asking the developers to change a few things, so that the combat value between the big and the smaller ships, can be more realistic - and in accordance to the detailed scenery. Thanks for (maybe) reading.

A couple of thoughts regarding World of Warships.

Hi, folks. First of all, I will apolgize for my "not-so-perfect-English". Anyway, I hope that my English is understandable, and that I'm able to make my point. As a rather adult game member, I love the scenery in the game. Sometimes it very realistic. My interest for this game occured by coincidence. My old man was fighting in WWII at sea, parts of my old family saw both Tirpitz and Scharnhorst while they were on their way to the North-Atlantic and Kåfjord by Alta (Tirpitz). So I have a genuine interest for the history of WWII, especially the war at sea. To make a long story short: My experiences in the game, have made me ask these questions: Shall a cruiser be able to hide behind an island, and/or cover itself with smoke, and fire and fire and fire 12 shells every 5-6 seconds? (5-6 seconds on the cruiser, and 25 seconds on a battleship?) My answer would be "No". Because it's far from being realistic, even in a game. And since everything in this game is so realistic, why exaggerate the firing capacity like this? (Only some cruisers.) It makes NO sense at all. It wouldn't happen in a real battle. Every ship, at that time, would appear on an enemy radar, or would be discovered visually by the lookouts. ...sometimes I have the feeling that there are submarines involved in the game... :-D Shall a destroyer/cruiser be able to be totally invisible at the sea, just lay there as an invisible "snake", and then fire 8 torpedoes from nowhere? My answer would be "No". Because it has nothing to do with reality. And it's too easy, and doesn't improve the overall and total game experience. I understand it's a game, of course. And in a game, the owner makes the rules. Fine. Got it. But I still think there should be made some changes, according to my questions above. Any comments? I've been trying to express my thoughts to the support. They are not willing to "listen". Instead, they guided me to the World of Tanks-forum, asking me to post my comments here. Regards, Viking Armchair Admiral. )))
