I am disheartened. So much legacy will be lost. I am not convied about discord forum feature. Not everyone who can type good english can actually pronounce it and it will be harder to communicate for non native speakers. But this is pretty much much WG damage control: Throw people over board and call it free swimming lesson.

Clearing mine fields in depth charges? That certainly puts ships Like Hipper, big, not maneuverable heavy cruiser with depth charge rack disadvantage. It's hard enough with nimble destroyer. It would have made far more sense to allow secondaries also target mines. Most mines were cleared by shooting.

That would be nice though. Somme still is just a Jutland with premium bonuses. Makes little sense pay premium when you can get same experience for free. But we will see. That's good call. Thank you.

Al Prinz Heinrich... Ok... I am tad interested. Depending how you can obtain a ship. Probably bloat bundle abd with new premium AL gambling box mentioned in article sadly Somme collection. So it's 60 piece with 2:1 duplicate ratio. Doubloons / cash only container. You get tier 9 Somme with camo and 10p captain... Which means... It's going to cost more than actual tier 9 ship. We don't know yet the price but... projecting bade cost is around 63€ for a ship and 1500 dubs for captain... You will spend at least like 90ish Euro if you are lucky. If you're unlucky it prolly be close to 140€? Depending on price per box I wish good old way just buy a ship and slot without Gambling or bloat.

I do like chance to buy Perma camo's for silver. At this point I don't have much else use for silver atm when my current goals are met. I just don't like gambling method to obtain camo's. I dream of day when there's WoWs event without Gambling aspect... But it's there with Honest politician and Easter Bunny... I am affraid

1) I think ship is ugly but Perma camo makes it look actually pretty good. 2) mission grind is not too bad. I was able to grind missions while working full days and get enough tokens with resources and missions, in time to spend the coupon. 3) permacamo is also available in credits. This is huge bonus. All in all. I am surprised the quality of this event. It's bit grindy but not impossible. Missions are doable. Ship actually can be obtained for free without sacrificing your entire life just grinding. I honestly think this good mission. More like these are welcome. Maybe slightly "easier" mode for Tier 8 and 7 ships in future.

Whatever you can say about WG, Naval Legends and WoT's inside video's are really top notch though... I wish same care would input in game though.

What I was affraid of... That's like 49€'s worth of dubloons if you want to buy directly WW'44. No option to buy her without bloat.... but atleast there's grinding marathon to get her price down. Like we wouldn't have better things to do in summer / Indepedence Day. I mean: If you just would have sold WW'44 just the ship and slot with standard T7 price, I would have bought it. No way I am going 15€ extra for her. Thanks but a hard pass this event.

Oh, wow, without any sarcasm, I can say this is really nice. Even its "just" Marblehead, its suitable for missions grinding as its Tier 5. I can't really remember last time Prime members got premium ship. Thank you. Its been while since I have thanked WG sincerely.

Event and battle pass I can ignore peacefully. Just a note, if I would ever be so rich that i could spend 400€'s on a game for just some pixels, I would do that on Christmas, not in summer. Now I am waiting how West Virginia '44 is made to get... with extreme monetization I am afraid.

So mainly: New Premium ships available for tokens... Austro-Hungarian Tokens, Idependence Tokens? And Summer Tokens? Three different tokens? You guys must be joking? AI, Matchmaking improvements are welcome (MM is just ranks I-V) I won't comment about West Virgnia '44 yet as I don't know mission chain and if you need to gamble (which I am affraid) in order to get her...

I do remember mine fields from Operation Dunkirk ... So yeah, mechanics have been in place, but what's the counter play them? Since there must be some way to clear these mines? All the changes seem to encourage camping. What's next? Mine laying submarines? Do we get new mine layers as well? Maybe new mine clearing lines? To me, it looks higher ups don't have vision what this game wants to be. We are getting oversaturated by gimmicks and new mechanics, that I am afraid the actual game starts to suffer even more. It's already bad enough trying to do ASW middle of combat (unless you are CV). The whole ping removing by using repairs... We got whole bunch of submarine related balancing issues and we are getting minefields? Sucks to be ship without 20 km + fire ranges in this autumn.

When looking missions... 22mil potential damage, 40k base exp.... For 10 tokens each. 1000 dubs for 10 tokens, some signals and random goodies? Getting worth for 1000 dubs has negligible chances. ... And there's still no confirmed price how much ship will cost but I estimate it to be hundreds of tokens, forcing you to buy at least 10,000 dubs worth containers to have remote chance. More likely close 20,000 for cheapest option closer 40k for more expensive, as WG's containers for tier X price had generally been 37-38k dubs to get the vessels in this year's gamble events.

And Nottingham is not that great. It works in PvE and Operations but: Fore and Aft is 25mm plate, Citadel is runs from rear smoke stack to C turret (over half of the ships length). Its raised heavily on those three stacks (that is 20% of ships length and not even Ray Charles would miss that from broad side) protected only 152mm armor. That means everything with 380mm guns with overmatch that thing and is able to citadel it easily. And it sees Tier X's with guns up to 460mm. Its literally floating citadel, without heal without proper AA. Only thing it has is decent camo, that doesn´t mean anything if there´s subs / CV's. It doesn´t survive against humans once BB´s spot it. Any decent BB player will target her. I don´t know what was thinking when her Heal was removed? She was built around heal and then it was removed for some weird reason without adding armour or hit points to compensate. She shouldn´t have been released in state she is. IMHO.

Looks like you made the smart choice. 79€ seems high on this ships Admiral pack, but still lower than Grau's was. I guess WG knows ship is not good

I was so sad to see it lose heal. I'd rather lose smoke than heal. With initial stats heal and original torp range, Nottingham would have British version of Atago. With Torpedo range nerf to 8 km and removal of Heal, Nottingham seems to extremely hard ship to play without being immediately deleted. Huge citadel, weak AA, weak armor, low HP. Looks like ship is released middle of testing or Wargaming has given up with this one. No way anyone could have think: this combination of trick and stats make ship enjoyable play in current state of the game. Ship was designed bit like Pan American cruisers around gimmicks, Nottingham's case it seemed to have been around heal, then it was removed....

Would it hurt you guys so much add 10x Black-white-red camoflages and maybe a Symbol? At least that would have given illusion of effort. Now its just plain lazy. Sure its a free Port slot and T5 so its usable in missions but still...

You forgot the broken players and broken dreams these things leave when they pop up 2 km off your port (with your active sonar going on), hit 4-6 tops on your side and dive back in before your secondaries have even turned to face them...

I think I will get my missing mission before Christmas, not just sure what year. Oh, well. I guess it could be worse...

So soon we get resource exchange in auction like event, where there is special tier X or IX ships available and only when bidding with resources. And if you win ship, you get fancy little indicator showing what number out of limited number ship you got? Hmmm I think I am having a déjà vu in here. Jokes a side. Idea is good though. Exchange rates are horrible though. Tashkent '39 isn't appealing personally to me as I am not into pure torpedo DDs and Hood I have had for years. If you got years of worth resources there and since free XP ships are soon no more... If you got no lines to grind, you might as well spend resources on ships... So this is definitely not new bike friendly thing.

I seriously hope they would put a submarine or carrier in dockyard event, so I could just ignore it all :D

My conclusion in evidences based on thread: either there's been involved substances which possion is questionable at least or there's dimensions getting limit in each other's which cause them to interfere reality? .... or the boring notion: Royal Navy branches are one of the more challenging branches that just needs to understand how to use their strength and cover weakness by using game mechanics...

Kamikazes / Fujin are pretty solid when you need to do torpedo hits. I mean 40 second reload time for 6 tubes is very nice. I haven't taken my duo Kamikaze / Fujin against humans in years, though the few times I have years ago, I felt dirty. Against Co-Op they are also good due fast torpedo reload. But would I sink money just to get them? Probably not... anymore.

BattlePass was to be expected. I am just waiting to see how much they want to us pay per phase. I mean if its 10,000 db's per phase likein test, buying entire phase would roughly 500,000 db's. When 30,000 is = roughly 100€'s. But its in test server that has different price. But to give test these prices does concern me a lot. In WoT its 3*50 stages per Season and skipping phase is 250 premium currency that comes roughly 37,500 (which is price for T10 ship in armoury) so to be expected that skipping a phase is roughly 750 db's then buying entire phase would cost roughly the same... Man, this is going to hurt. Sure the BP is optional but cutting out so much economics, flags and bonuses for F2P is not good. If you keep current rewards F2P and then optionally add BP's would be fair instead trying to force it on player base throat. Nobody has told Roman saying : "you catch more flies with Honey than Vinegar?" I am glad that WG "looks" into matter. but I doubt it does much. F2P will lose significantly and those who buy BP's are encourage to be milked even further. And missions should not be get X amount kills in Ranked, Brawls or Random's. That will remind too much Original Puerto Rico event that was designed milking people. Do not do the same mistake here. Missions should be varied and goals should be able to met grinding also COOP, operations and have enough selection that you can try complete BP without needing to enter Brawls, Rankings etc.

I still got of hundreds of special camo's that can't be sold... but this was fun little event. Thank you.
