Karma suggestion:
I really like to play this game, but one thing has been bothering me for a while - the Karma system. I'm not a super unicum player by any means, but i'm decent and i do pride in doing a good job in all event. Being it randoms, brawls, ranked or whatsoever. Therefore, karma means a lot to me.
But ranked and brawls are just so toxic, even more toxic than randoms, and every time a new season starts my karma starts to go down again.
I just had my first game in ranked this season and lost one karma.
Recap of the game:
The game was without dd's, i'm in my Schlieffen.
My team is Conq, Shiki, Marseille, Des Moines and Zao.
Map: Trap.
Marseille steams ahead for mid cap, engine boosts and gets sniped by Ohio, Yama and Zao.
I'm shortly behind, two first salvos are both cits on Zao, secondary cross map on a Salem.
I go behind the island and cap, but before i send out torps for the Ohio, two hits.
Shiki sits broadside behind me and gets slapped by the Ohio. Shiki dies.
I reverse, sets secondaries on Ohio and guns him down.
I go forward, slaps the Colombo who goes behind an island.
Des Moines, Conq and Zao go for the other cap. Conq is ofc backline sniping, Des Moines and Zao dies quickly.
I get focused by Yama, Salem, Colombo and Zao i die as the second to last.
Conq still circkling ]around on the backline and dies as the last one.
Game is over. I have the only kill, the only cap, 169k dmg, 300 secondary hits, two torp hits and two defended.
Ranked first in the team.
Got reported.
Recap: Could i have done anything different in this game? Ofc, i could always have done something different, but could i have changed the outcome? I dont think so. Did i play the ship as intended - yes i do think so.
So my suggestion:
No player with below X amount of karma (something obtainable - maybe 10?) should be allowed to deduct karma from anyone else. That way, I think the system will be fairer.
