As far as I am concerned, as a DD main, in the games I have played the larger consorts seem to forget that by leaving the radar equipped Cruisers and BB's unmolested and intact the allied DD's die... For the whole of my last game the enemy Alaska was hardly touched until I got a torpedo into it late on in the game.. one by one the allied DD's were killed solely because of its radar... I made it to the end with 3 hp... I got to rank 10 now I am stuck back at 12... frustrating isn't the word right now...

Just had a game with @Saltface sporting his Kitakaze and taking apart some of the more inexperienced players of my team... Didn't go well for me in Fletcher as my support melted away and I ended up pinned by MO's radar and blasted apart by the MO whilst trying to escape the IZUMO Some good banter to start and nice conversation when over... Until next time...

Having all German BB's I love the secondary builds from Tier 7 onward. Every German Battleship of Tier 7 or higher has a level 19 Commander with manual secondary fire control... Makes all the difference when dealing with enemy ships that forget you have secondary ranges from 7km to 11.6km... add to that you get -60 to dispersion from T8 onward... gives quite a reception to the unwary... Tried IFHE on my highest tier but preferred to fight without... After that I like my Richelieu and Jean Bart @ 10.1km........ they seem to have an excellent fire chance seemingly better than the German line anyway... just 14k from my Alsace...

First and foremost check all your drivers are up to date and that your system spec meets minimum game requirement... If they are below minimum you will need better hardware. Check your game integrity via WG, scan and fix any problems if you can. If that is okay check any programs running in the background that may interrupt your game If that is okay check your connection to the internet, if you're using wifi do you have anything affecting your connection like portable house phone or even your own mobile phone if it competes for the wifi. If you are Cat5 (cable) connection check that the cable is securely inserted into your modem or computer.. a change from Cat5 to wifi because of a loose connection will always cause disconnection.. If all are okay then as I did last year delete and do a complete fresh reinstall from scratch..

I have every German BB from T4 to T10.. and to this day I still have great fun with them but as @ColonelPetehas said the IJN will teach you how to play a BB... However, I suggest for now you just have fun, learn your BB gameplay and then when you have a few more battles under your belt choose your line... I started with the German but find IJN just as much fun... Gawd, never thought I'd ever agree to anything @ColonelPete posted....

Bismarck is unpredictable, her accuracy is never consistent.. I should know she's in my fleet. In my experience 12km-15km is the best range for accuracy and even then RNG plays a hand every now and then... As the OP has only a few thousand games under their belt my first advice is to experiment with the crosshairs, then check to see if the upgrades include the -7% to dispersion..

I have Bismarck.. have you got her set up right? -7% dispersion helps... Are your crosshairs right for you? You can change them you know... I used to have the most detailed crosshairs at the start then as i became more experienced didn't need them so use a more simplified set... Are you aiming correctly? Are you at the right range? Close in Bismarck does little damage with her mains but at around 12km to 15km aim right citadel city... Anyway Kron at the right angle can be a bloody hard nut to crack...

Had the same issue with Sinop with my Scharnhorst. There was a trick to killing her and it was that you have to be close in and use torpedoes with secondaries . You could only attack bow on until the last minute as her damage was negated... Sinop is also susceptible to secondary fire so I boosted my Scharnhorst to 8km secondaries with flags & Upgrade. To increase chance of fire damage from them...I equipped Victa Lima, India X Ray and then added India Delta for the extra 20% heal. That 20% meant the difference between winning or losing the fight.. For some weird reason though Gneisenhau always came off second best so I gave up playing her.. DD for me was always Shiratsuyu with TRB and no smoke... lost count of the amount of ships I surprised with a second torpedo volley... usually killing them... Belfast was fun but you needed a competent DD to spot... Came through the sprint @ 54% because between 3 & 1 some of the games were a nightmare...

Oh yeah V-25... got a level 19 captain y'know...lolz

I have no complaints about the sprint; in fact it's the most enjoyable ranked event I have participated in lately.. especially after the Tier X garbage event.. Just made it to the end this morning with a flourish and Tier 7 seems a good tier for ranked (No rentals). Did have a sticky spell last night between 3 to 1 where some crazy team members did some crazy stuff...

If you are uptiered in Bismarck then simply ally yourself to the nearest Tier X BB and work with that player. Bismarck has excellent secondary capabilities and if you have manual secondaries they do even better. You'll find that the Bismarck is good enough to fight the higher tier games...

3 Games in ... Saved my star with the defeat... real Noob DD's this time... Polish DD decides to split and complains that he dies too early...

Comments like that do not deserve anything other than full exposure in my book.. the other player should be shamed.

Just had my first game in the sprint... Had an issue with the Belfast.. whoever had him played him really well and he burned me for almost 40% of my health... gave him a +1 for worthy adversary... Thankfully a lucky blind shot into smoke settled his hash for him..

Not really just wondering about the reference to points... Yeah, I did for a moment. but you guys sure brought me down with a bang.. No canines either...
