No U-Boats, Submarines etc etc took part in surface naval engagements. These acoustic torpedoes mean you don't even have to aim at the ship you wish to attack. Submarines attacked convoy routes, specific capital ships, ports and coastal installations or were used as Milch Cows..... Underwater the fastest Submarine did less than 10 knots... I don't think this will be popular with anyone who wants a competitive game... But, that's just my opinion.

Just had a game with 4 Smolensk on my team... to say that we stomped the enemy team, who had none, would be an understatement... It was almost as if they had one second reload the fire rate was so fast. Two Smolensk took down an enemy Stalingrad and Grosser Kurfurst in 6 minutes and they both survived the encounter... I wouldn't like to face one never mind two...

Okay, could well have easily misread the notes yesterday, or I could be too tired to have digested the information properly.. But, I was rather under the impression that we had a week of free captain skill respec after the update.....

So if you reset the line and every ship is sold, all modules go to inventory... What about the people who paid for the elite Camo do they get their Doubloons back and what about all the xp used to research the line? Think I am happy to stick with what I have got, what I have paid real coin for in the past... Notice too that Poland is now gone... it is replaced with Europe? If this is the case why are France, Germany, Italy still named independently...?

I watched last night... I saw last night... I thought last night "This is bonkers." So, I get my sub, I fire torpedoes in the general direction of a target; don't even need to be accurate as the acoustic torpedoes will bend to the target.. then they will hit the target.. what's the point of playing surface ships then? In the second world war no Submarines were involved in surface fleet actions. Not in the Atlantic and not in the Pacific... The role of the submarine was to intercept convoys, sink freighters, sink Oil tankers, be a Milch Cow, drop off or retrieve personnel, strike at singular capital ships, strike at ports or naval bases... Then you had the Midget submarines.. From what I have seen last night you put subs in the game you turn it on its head.

I find that with my Musashi if I fire straight ahead my dispersion is less than firing from the side.. You lose the ability to shoot with your rearmost turret but the dispersion is definitely better... @Dolgorukov Yamato isn't a bad ship by any stretch of the imagination, I have her and Musashi... go for the grind.

Mashum to the rescue... Two cap game.. unfortunately forgot to turn my Bandicam... Came down the 7-8 line heading towards enemy base. On the way I met up with 2 enemy Battleships... but they couldn't see me... as I wanted to give them my warmest greetings pressed number 3.... With a full salvo of torps and then a quick reload salvo, from my torpedo reload booster, I quickly sank the New Mexico and took a chunk of HP from the King George V who then sank to the guns of my Amagi bodyguard... Good old Amagi you'll see more of his exploits later in the story. Did some spotting and our Bismarck and Amagi covered me from the 2 Cruisers to my front driving them away from the enemy base... Got inside the enemy base and started capping but had to leave when one of the Cruisers decided to come find me... a silly move but he had to try Enemy CV is broadside to me at 11km, also beached, at the time of my leaving so I gave it a full salvo of torps + a second salvo from my TRB as I left the enemy base... only 2 torpedoes hit but I did take it down to 600hp and was able finish it off with guns. My last kill was Alabama as I re-entered the enemy base. Strangely, as I entered the enemy base, the Alabama just happened to turn 180 degrees and proceed to sail straight to me firing blind.... Another salvo of torpedoes + a second salvo from my TRB soon settled his hash for him.. Now, for the strange part, because my bandicam was not running I cannot accuse anyone but it seemed mighty strange that the A division on our team and the A division on the enemy team were of the same clan and it seemed uncanny that the enemy knew where our base defenders were located and Alabama had an idea of where to shoot at me in the enemy base.... Thankfully though the enemy A Division was the CV and Alabama, in my team it was the CV and Asashio who did very little other than die fast, so in sinking these ships quickly any possibility of irregular play was avoided and believe me it did seem irregular... After I had killed the Alabama, the allied Amagi ripped apart the T61 who made a valiant but futile attempt to dislodge me and I quietly watched the clock tick down... So Amagi was my new hero... at least for 2 minutes anyway.

Wargaming code activated...but it isn't premium time.. so no idea. Not a mission, not a crate....

You can still play the game and the only difference is that you are relegated to the F key format. If its a game with Clan members or division then use programs like "Teamspeak". (if Teamspeak still exists) Every person I know has had a chat ban at some point over the time I have played this game, I have had four (Never for 7 days though). I am still here and the world hasn't ended....

Many people from the old times know that I sucked hard as a DD... Now, my stats are beginning to show... I got it.... at least for my DD gameplay...

Oh yes...

Every build is a potential winner but don't set yourself in stone because each higher tier DD has its own merits and weaknesses.. As you see I don't use Superintendent but that works for me.. The priority is to ensure that your DD captain is at least level 10 so you can enable concealment expert... that extra 10% does make all the difference...

Second DD random game today, this time Asashio B ( & Mashum ) of course. These are the games I love, when the team plays as a team and Mashum well he does what he does best... Did say "Thanks for playing" to the Scharnhorst who just so happened to eat my torpedoes..

I only post because this was an unreal game.. Started the game and it is 2 base cap game.. I am able to sail from home base to the enemy base down the 7 line unchallenged all the way and end up taking the base without a shot being fired with a Leander and Charles Martel for company. Not once were we attacked... in fact we ended the game unmolested and our guns unused... And I finished second...which is even more bizarre...

I have had that happen to me in a ranked event and so I reported it to WG , as I always use Bandicam for my ranked games the Clan members did not have a leg to stand on. I did not see either of them online for a considerable amount of time after.....

Friendly fire penalties are there for a very important reason. Instead of the 5 year old Kiddies blapping their guns all over the place or launching their torpedoes without a care in the world people have to take their time in game. People really want WG to bring this game down to infant level? No penalty for playing like a numb brain? That would kill this game for me...

And still the team doesn't get it... sink the MOSKVA...and then when I corner it for my KRAKEN out come the kill stealers.... Still a great game... the poor ZAO and Jutland never saw it coming ------------------------------------------ Forgot about a decent Minotaur game...
