I had no idea Mods were available for this, but airing on the side of caution, due to what @Hanse77SWE said I think I will wait until WG brings out a specific control function for it. No disrespect intended to any Mod advocate.

Maybe they are sad, maybe they are insignificant individuals in the real world and only here in this way, the way they mess it up for a team, even in a COOP game, do they feel empowered. I think they need to find some stimulus...

I had one yesterday whilst finishing the Anniversary event.. In fact I have seen this player before do they very same thing... some German name... from the get go he sailed and sat behind an island for the whole game... maybe his mum had called him for his supper

Finished the anniversary event and opening the last container I get the Monaghan with a 10 point Captain... As a DD main I am happy.... So did anyone else get anything good?

I have never used a single Mod in 3 years of playing.... feel like a Newbie asking... but how and where from?

I do seem to get more from my Cossack than my Lightning. But, Lightning does have two Salvoes of torpedoes to use to the Cossack one..or eight to four singles..same concealment. She is, with her 5.5k concealment, vicious against most other Tier 8 DD's and can even give a Khaba a run for her money because she turns so easily and can dodge what other DD's cannot... When I see a Cossack lined up against me, especially if I am in another DD of a different line, I am always careful. @tinvek the damage potential from the Torpedoes can reach 64,000 hp maximum.. and very occasionally a devastating strike. She readily burns her opponents too. @Cambera_1 I have not got the Haida... being I am a DD main I am going to look up her qualities or deficiencies. ------------------ Edited. There is a challenge in playing her....you can still die quickly if you play poorly.... but if your team is switched on and say a DD gives you smoke whilst he continues to spot... it's..it's.. okay it's a bit like Seal Clubbing but on a Tier X level... once the DD smoke ends if the position you're in is still favourable go 1/4 speed hit your own smoke and stop. You can then enjoy continuing the reign of fire ... then 20 seconds before your smoke ends leave the smoke resume your journey using your concealment until you can be smoked or smoke again... or an opportunity arrives again for the next fire storm... Not had many games in mine as I prefer DD but watching how others play her... you can do real harm if switched on..

I used to suffer crashes, lag, freeze ups... so I built my own computer... I think I have DC'd three times in almost 18 months.. Your CPU must run faster than 2.6 Ghz (mine is 3.9 Ghz).. Ram must be modern I have 16GB DDR4, Graphics card must be gaming spec... and your tower must have plenty of space within for airflow.. However, if you cannot do that strip your system and check for dust build up. Dust can block fans and cause systems to overheat and the system will shut down as protection... Clean your system carefully.

Language is a barrier. As I cannot speak German, polish, French, Dutch, Russian, Spanish, Greek etc etc....... how do I communicate in any meaningful way?

You do everything you can, like hold an entire quarter of a map with a Moskva and the allied Smolensk says Mashum go play Minecraft... just because I could not get to B in 5 seconds to F7 for him.. The DD's aren't the problem... I kill an enemy Smolensk, neutralize a Shimakaze, kill the Yoshino and molest the Montana... To top it all I keep Moskva alive for the whole game... and cap and recap A....

I have Manual Secondary control on my Tier 7 to Tier 9 French BB's and do just as well as my German BB's... Scharnhorst, Bismarck, Tirpitz, FDG...

They're more a Cruiser killer in my opinion... of all the BB's I have the Alsace and Jean Bart give me the most citadels.

As I did last night on a Vlad in my Cossack.... he hit me but died as the direct result of my torpedoes whilst I smoked and escaped... Free to spot and kill whilst he languished under the waves...

I know it's only COOP but I was last man standing at 13 minutes against 4 opponents... Beginning to get the hang of it now... I think...

Oh you're not kidding.. I have had a Yamato each 11 torpedoes from my Shimakaze and come out going "Yeah, and?" Kremlin is another super, eat a million torpedoes and keep smiling, beast... (Slight use of poetic licence but you get my meaning.)

Cossack torpedoes though, if you can get all four to hit, do some remarkable damage... in one of my ranked sprint games last night I took a Vladivostok down to 4k hp from full with 4 torpedoes.. she quietly flooded to death..especially with me taking Victor Lima and Juliet Whiskey together... 20% extra to flooding chance makes up for the torpedo number shortfall. Her guns are also pretty decent if you're accurate and I was able to set many fires... Her smoke though is short compared to other DD's so you cannot sit and spam fire for long.. She was my DD of choice throughout my run to rank 1. But, as I said somewhere else, if you're inexperienced she is NOT the DD you should choose.. In my opinion a good BB for Tier 7 would be Scharnhorst. For the Cruiser why not try the Abruzzi.. my clan mate swears by her.

@NothingButTheRain some very tidy numbers there sir. The one thing, the only ship I was ever really afraid of in this latest ranked sprint was the Martel.. you get clobbered by a salvo from her and it hurt...alot.

I was in no way insulting your suggestion... apologies. I agree that for coin the IJN line does come up rather short...

As @Panocek suggests go for the Cossack... she is fast, turns in 3 seconds, has powerful torpedoes (4 torpedoess only) and strong guns that with HE cause fires pretty easily.... concealment can go down to 5.5km with concealment expert. I would be very surprised if your friend did not enjoy the Cossack but it is no good if your friend is not used to playing DD's. Beware, the Cossack is a fast agile ship and if you're inexperienced you can easily get into trouble quickly with fatal consequences... Asashio, as @lafeel suggested her, is NOT for the new player...her torpedoes although fast and long range only sink Battleships and Carriers.. You have TRB (Torpedo Reload Booster) but if you have no opponents they are useless. Asashio AA is pitiful, she can also be caught in a chase if you have no boost in play and her guns lack umph.

Today everything just worked brilliantly.. and in the few defeats i came top to retain my star... Karma up 15 points... DD from start to finish.
