You know I never knew they were 20km... that would explain something from Last night.... I had chased two BB's from a cap in my Yugumo (TRB Equipped) and a salvo of torpedoes appeared from nowhere ... I avoided them but at that point could not identify the source.

Everything @250swb says is accurate... Windowed full screen = No Freeze. (Just tried it myself)

Nice to know.. It was a big update, a glitch may well be anticipated, so a fix should not be too long coming.

Disconnect from the server and use Task Manager to close the game...

Stick to Randoms I suppose... Hope you get chance to have a few games before it ends... have you recovered?

Everything seems poor... even if you get over 1.4 million damage there is no reward... and couldn't we have upgrades last year too?

@NothingButTheRain Over a million damage I would have expected better rewards for the performance.... 51k for all that... garbage... @Butterdoll have you checked your port setting because I cannot see why you miss the Tier 8 ships... or perhaps you need to be in division for them to light up..

Just had an amazing Cossack game.. and a real carry hard too.. By 9 minutes there are exactly 5 of us left to 1 enemy down.... So at the very start I head for A to cap, I cap, and then I am driven off by the enemy De Grasse, Roma and Cossack... I then go around the island and attack from the South hitting Roma for 60k, sinking the De Grasse and an enemy Cossack who shows me enough broadside just north of the A cap for a salvo and a quick death.. Our 3 cruisers must have had better things to do somewhere else, all dead in 6 minutes, and my allied Cossack was pinned by Benson and Dallas so did not survive long trying to cap B.. An allied Vlad and NC follow me around to A, forcing the enemy Spee to run, and after I have hit Roma with some torpedoes Bismarck (No1) nails Roma and Benson. Allied Bismarck (No1) is unfortunately sunk by torpedoes from Benson and so B cap remains in the enemy hands.. Vlad re takes the A cap, whilst I sprint to cap B and our NC takes out the Spee who attempts to force a recap of A.... I then go to cap B with Vlads after he caps A.. I give Myoko a tickle in C before Bismarck (No 2) kills him... we've turned the numbers from 11 to 5 to 4 to 1 in less than 6 minutes and after Bismarck (No2) takes C we hold all the caps... Just time left for me to take away the last HP from the enemy Vlad... with the compliments of the remaining players they gave me the Vlad. In Port the messages are all positive... I just wish I had had my Bandicam on this one.. it was to the wire...

Has the EU server gone down? Loading a Shimakaze game and booted... cannot get back in...

I had to run the integrity check function to get back in... good luck.

After 10 useless games of only 1 victory 1 x 3 stars I came out with my BB and Hotel Yankee... Took charge of the team, stay in the green circle, block every ship attempting to enter, don't chase the ships behind us.. then I take the lead and stay ahead of Transylvania.. I am the meat wall and I stay within the circle.. Out pops Rasputin at the end.. I have already told the team I will ram him... a full health ram later with the Hotel Yankee flag I am dead but Rasputin sits on 1800hp... easy meat for even the newest player...

Yes, I have the exact same problem. I have to disconnect from the server and then close the game via task manager... Did a game integrity check and it still happens.

@MadBadDave I am afraid that I have to agree with you... I have not seen this amount of absolute garbage for a long time.. For example: I was in a game last night, in my Shimakaze, with 3 DD's in my team.. by the 9th minute I am the only DD left and I mean both sides.. it like a room full of excited school children all rushing around. To @Lord0 and to @Egoleter no fighting guys it was I who missed the patch notes.... Save it for the water....

I am a DD main so will have the choice of German, Japanese x 2, or American Tier X DD's... If CV's are a problem I've got my GK or Yamato for BB's Smolensk, Minatour, Hindenburg or Worcester for Cruisers...

I hope that this is a joke... I am a history buff and can find no reference to the use of smoke by aircraft whilst on Bombing Missions, Torpedo Runs or Rocket Attacks... The only time you saw an aircraft smoking was when it was on fire or had been hit...

@NothingButTheRain I got tired of trying to get a single star... 12 games yesterday and nobody understands how to play the game... even in easy mode... the kids just fly off in all directions and before you know it the game is over... @DFens_666 I am pretty sure that I remember being able to mount upgrades to the ships... if I am wrong I can blame my age
