As a DD main it infuriates me when I have been tracking a target and launch my torpedoes only to then find the CV also attacks the same ship as my torpedoes are running... Obviously, my torpedoes miss or I don't get the number of hits I should of had and I have an age before I can attack again but by that time the BB knows that I am hunting him... I can deal with a good CV opponent but a bad CV ally... well to vent I would get a chat ban for a year..

I am fortunate that I have plenty of Captains spare... as it is a premium ship the captain can also be used on another ship.

Played exactly the same.. concentrated only on using aft or forward guns ...the second an enemy Tirpitz did not fire, because I timed his guns with my own, I changed course and slowed down and almost always avoided his torpedoes... Also, as the enemy ship fired his main guns I slowed down the minute the shells left the enemy ship thus reducing damage considerably. Using the fighter plane allowed me to lock my secondaries even if the enemy was hiding... One guy went for the ram expecting the draw.. obviously he did not have his ram flag...lolz...

Encountered only 1 CV and slaughtered him. Won every engagement against a DD and only lost once to a CA as he detonated me with a torpedo. My losses were down to Tirpitz v Tirpitz engagements... and my first game of the sprint in my Kagero because I missed the point it was a 1v1 ranked event... I would like to see this event return too.

I would have thought 8.0 was the prime example of what happens when you alienate your player base... I know 13 people, all contributors of coin, who stopped spending.. How many clans were wiped out or decimated because of WG despite the evidence that their rework would be a disaster... All those players who decided the game was no longer fit for purpose.. @MrConway @Crysantos this game will become a ghost, maybe that's the plan ... how long after 8.0 did it take you at WG to realise that 8.0 was a bad move.. I'd love to see how your coffers fared; I bet it was a disaster for you... People like me who paid for premium time, ships, crates, gifts, Doubloons all closing their purse to WG... my yearly average spend from November 2016 was £438 and some of my friends that left spent sometimes over three times that amount... Since 8.0 not a penny have I spent...

I said this earlier this year to WG about the 8.0 debacle.. I proved to them via direct economics how they were going to lose a lot of money; which they did. They never even deigned to reply. I used only my clan as a reference point because 8.0 wiped out my clan. As you say happy players spend money; I haven't spent a penny on this game since 8.0 and before that I purchased premium time, ships, containers, gave gifts, purchased doubloons.. There is no point in a gaming business only employing gamers, children as far as I am concerned, for you have to have people who understand economics and people at the same time. Keep sucking the sponge,without replenishing it, it will eventually go dry.. I wonder if WG want to see this game die? @NothingButTheRain I too am not finding this game as enjoyable now and if these damnable Submarines appear it may drive me away for good... It is sad because this could be an absolutely great game..

WG will do what they did before... mess it all up and spend all of next year trying to fix it... they must have the memory retention of Goldfish...

Shimakaze LM is garbage but Gearings LM is useful because it drops your concealment to 5.6km... Is anyone surprised by the move really? I mean 8.0 cost WG an absolute fortune in lost revenue...Personally, I have not purchased anything from WG since February 2019 and I did spend a lot of money with WG before.. I am not the only one for it destroyed my Clan and we have but four active players left of which only two buy premium time (And nothing else)... So they've got to try and recoup their losses somehow. I have also got Smolensk through resources and agree that it is disappointing to find no LM on it ... When they finally ruin the game with Submarines I think that's the point where the game will stay off for me... If I wanted Subs I would play 'Silent Hunter'. WG seems to have lost touch with the gaming community... perhaps they actually want the game to die?

What about the PINK PENALTIES, Is WG going to remove them?

Get the penalties removed whilst you're about it... I don't think it fair to nail people for WG errors do you?

After 2 days of crappy games this was a perfect game.. and I never sank a ship..lolz.. Got to 16 minutes then splat... But, so much damage for not a single scalp... I must be slipping... But, I feel the love as my Karma jumps 7...

Learn the ships that carry radar, learn their range and play accordingly... If you're in a position to be hit behind an island, if an enemy fires up radar, then you have placed yourself at a disadvantage and cannot blame anyone else.

Potentially, there could be....

Sometimes playing the GK you have to forget she has four turrets and focus on the forward two... So, you don't get off all your shells, you can still be very accurate with the front turrets and your acute angles mean shells that come from the enemy will not do as much damage. I have the Alsace and the Jean Bart and decided one day to play GK the same way with a secondary build... I got some nice juicy citadels from my opponents and received hardly any damage. If I lost a turret, very rare but can happen, I turned the ship and attacked in reverse...
