So those people who purchased premium DD's can expect a full refund then eh after these changes come in? People purchased premium because they were just that and now they are going to be no better than the Silver lines... How do you justify that? Your people actually don't give a toss for your player base... or perhaps you favour minorities over majorities.... seem to remember you did this last year too...

I think I may just end up looking for a new game if this happens.... And WG I want my money back for every premium DD I purchased including the Asashio twins... that's real money.. I didn't buy premium ships for you to Nerf down the line because some suck tard cannot play a competitive game.. I am at the point where I have sufficient resources to buy any of the top 4 Coal ships so I am wondering what your opinion of her is? Is she worth the coal? (My other choices are Yoshino, Salem or Georgia).. TIA.

I took out a full HP Montana once with a single torpedo in my Shimakaze.. so maximum damage potential does not include the possibility of a Detonation. Not so funny if you're on the receiving end... Oh and by the way welcome to the game, please do not be afraid to come here for help or advice; there are plenty of people here with lots of knowledge.

As a DD main I must agree with the OP... the quality of DD's players seems to have dropped these last 5 days... I've had games where where high tier players just smoke and sit to die (Torpedo).. Or go head on against ships like DM, Moskva, Missouri and obviously get slaughtered when the radar fires... I suspect that players have fxp to the higher tiers without learning about either their ship or the capabilities of their opponents... Tonight though has been okay... So far. 2 Games so far (Kagero & Shimakaze) both victorious... No ScreenShot for Kagero as no results loaded. @Dutchy_2019Plenty of DD tips on Youtube... Maximize your concealment with CE, have a level 10 captain at the least... To avoid CV turn off AA and sail away from aircraft.

I found reversing gives you 8 shells as opposed to 4 but I only quote the way I play here... I also watch the ships coming and try to keep bow on to the most dangerous so the shells have more chance of bouncing than penetrating.. Each to their own...

Play it Bow on, forget it has rear turrets... aim right and you can do really well. Alsace is in my opinion NOT a long distance sniper.. You can get citadels for fun, even from Tier X BB's, I have had 6 citadel hits from a single salvo before at ranges of up to 15km.. If you are extended just go into reverse firing those 8 guns whilst keeping yourself bow on to your attackers. Even Tier X BB's struggle to damage you and Gun incapacitations are infrequent. Her secondary armament is good also if you have manual fire control (-60% to dispersion).. Her AA chews planes too... Ensure you have the right flags.. extend your secondary range, increase your chance of causing fire and 20% to repair party....

5 games today and the stupidity of the teams astounds me... BB's back to long range sniping, an IOWA running from a MOSKVA who lit up my DD allies one after the other, charging CA's who do not wait for DD's to spot CV's who load torpedoes to attack DD's, DD's (We are talking high tier ) sitting in smoke only to be torpedoed.. and games that were won lost... 5 straight losses ... you could argue many things but WOW a total The last game I played I capped 2 of 3 cap zones and everyone retreated leaving 1 enemy DD to retake them all.. we were at that point 535 to the enemies 300... we lost on points because nobody would take the caps... And we're not even in the weekend yet...

I got her I think Saturday when i finished directive 3 and as I am not a CA player I have taken her into COOP only to get the feel of her... Her armament is powerful but she is susceptible to being hurt from BB's if you're not aware of your bow angles... I would say that she is okay but not spectacular. My experience is limited to COOP though so I am sure others will have a more detailed opinion..

You have to log in to collect which is why you have surplus days beyond the length of the event chain to cover any day you cannot access the game. @Nick_Borse You haven't been cheated and as you play the game for longer you will understand how the patterns work with the game. Have fun.

We can all choose specific groups of ships in port (Single Tiers or Single Classes) would it be crazy to ask for the same to be applied to ship Captains? If you have Captains, for example, at Rank/Level 19 and only wish to play them why can you not make that choice via port settings? Would it be too much to ask for? Interested in the opinions of my fellows...

Agreed, which I do, but if I want to focus on Captains 17-18 there is currently no way to have them highlighted.. I am asking for a system that allows you to focus on specific levels... as you can with ships...

Morning to all my forum companions. Having just unlocked the Gorizia I am just wondering, as I am not a specific CA captain, if anyone has any advice for mastered skills? I have a 10 point captain and no idea what to use the points for. Thanking you in advance. Mashum.

Keep your eyes on the aircraft at all times (Turn on your AA) and the minute the number reduces that means they are attacking slow down immediately to 1/4 and turn either port or starboard.. You should then either avoid the attack or suffer minimal damage. With torpedoes watch the aircraft again, try to keep them directly in front or behind you, then watch the splash and that will tell you the direction of the torpedoes.. once you avoid the track slow down let them pass and speed up turning away from the track 90 degrees.. this will put off the next attack.. rinse and repeat. Just had a game where the enemy CV tried to torpedo me 3 times and missed with each attack, bombed me twice missing each time and only scored 5 rocket hits in 3 separate full squadron attacks... The CV is NOT the all in any game...

First game of the day... Who's afraid of the CV? Not Mashum that's for sure... in the C zone I kept at bay 3 BB's and oh yeah the enemy Kagero... I also kept spotted Wichita and Saint Louis so they could be smashed... Imagine me killing the CV with guns, in Kagero of all ships.

(1) A good CV captain will know a DD can cause fatal damage to a target. If the CV knows I have launched torpedoes then it is just pure bloody mindedness to attack the ship I have targeted. (2) Launch and then notice... I cannot call back the torpedoes once launched can I so it should be the CV who pays attention to me should it not? (3) By complaining it may get through the hard skulls of some of the useless CV captains we have in game... where better to vent than here? **(3a) I am quite sure an Admin would give me a nudge should they feel my comments unwarranted...**

No, I never worry about kill stealing because it is an enemy down .. Imagine I am stalking a Yamato with my Shimakaze.. (15 Torpedoes) I have 5.6km concealment and I have 12km torpedoes at 67 knots... I fire from 8km and then see the CV also coming in to attack with torpedoes thus causing Yamato to change course and instead of eating 10 or more torpedoes he eats 6 and survives... As to the CV not knowing I am there surely the mini map is a good giveaway and a brain cell might say let the DD have a crack first... Yamato knows I am there and let's say he proceeds to take out 2 capital ships when he should have been sunk by me..

And you ask a CV NOT to attack the ship you are stalking and they just completely ignore you... Sometimes, I tell you, if it wasn't for the penalties of TK I would sink a bad CV ally myself.. (Not all CV Captains are inadequate as I have had some games with excellent players)
