Have you ever thought that these Bot accounts belong to WG? Thinking of the numbers of players, wouldn't it be logical, if you wanted a game to look more popular than it actually is you create fake accounts. Kind of like advertisements for products you want to sell where you pay people to say how good your product is... I've always been a cynic....

What about the LIQUIDATOR? I am a DD main and I haven't had a Liquidator in over 14 months... and it's almost impossible to get a flood either even with Juliet Whiskey and Victor Lima flags flying... Yesterday in my Gearing I had 14 torpedo hits and one flood.... one single damned flood. A torpedo blows a hole in the side of a ship when it explodes.... not according to the way WG works lately. 7th of January 2019 was my last Liquidator... @MrConway @Sub_Octavian @Crysantos What do torpedoes do when they hit a ship?

I never had a single spike, delayed load in, disconnection whatsoever yesterday... May sound crazy but have you rebooted your Modum, your Wifi, your computer?

So what was the overrun about; Are we ever likely to find out?

I am also in but the load in took way longer then normal... Got 24 hours premium to say sorry... Does anyone know what they were fixing? Maybe they have added mines that are attracted to the campers or sanitizers for the group huggers.....

You are our one light in the darkness our source of information... But, seriously some people, how difficult is it to go to the website and find this out for yourselves.... If you're this lazy now one wonders what you're like in game.

I've have had two Ocean map games since 8.0... To be honest I miss it. It's not everyone's cup of tea I will admit but as a DD main... it's my kind of map. For me twice in over a year though is hardly what you would call excessive and I don't know how many times the OP has had the Ocean map but I doubt it is a frequent occurrence... No Islands, no campers and to win you have no choice but to play as a team... A great map in my view.

Had a great Shimakaze game... not a lot of damage but plenty of spotting, plenty of dodging, my one sole kill was the enemy CV. From the outset the enemy CV kept doing his level best to keep me spotted and attack me... which for the rest of the team was a good thing but for me not so much... throughout our dual he got only one hit on me with his rockets taking 5255 hp off me after hitting me with 3... So heading south between 1-3 with two allies, Hipper and North Carolina I am able to keep the Neptune spotted for deletion... Chapyev goes next with a detonation from the NC.. The enemy CV is still searching for me in the cap zone but I am not there... So I am behind the whole enemy team and spot the enemy CV.. Immediately he begins to hunt me with rocket planes and I get to 7km before I am found. AA on I immediately smoke up and move forwards gradually at 1/4 speed. After 15 seconds I go full speed, CV is still trying to fire into the smoke with rockets in an attempt to hit me but fails, as I burst through the smoke the CV is 8km away from me so I then hit my boost, I close to 6.5km (CV Now has Torpedo Bombers airborne) and fire all 15 torpedoes... 8km torpedoes @ 80 knots don't mess around. 2 torpedo hits are enough and the CV is gone and all I have to do now is avoid his torpedo attacks after he has sunk.. He fails to hit me once; I then move back to spotting and our team crush the enemy. My team lost one ship throughout the whole game. CV's are not invulnerable...

I know your pain... In my recent experience it's usually a premium ship captain who is absolutely useless... (Not resource premiums but the ones you buy for cash)

In an absolute moron team.... I go down the 1-3 lines with: BAYERN AMALFI IZMAIL GUEPARD... They are all dead in 11 minutes without a single kill... I am alone against 5 ships ... I take out VASTERAS with Guns and HUANGHE with a torpedo then head to the enemies base. The enemy FUSO tries to ambush me behind an island but I have watched his progress on the mini map so I boost in to him and launch torpedoes from 4km before smoking and running.... Obviously, he dies. Our team on the other side 7-10 works better and I am finally in the cap zone facing down a BUDYONNY and HIPPER... I manage to nail BUDYONNY using aft guns only and come through that encounter with just under 1500hp... I have HIPPER in sights for a torpedo shot but my Kraken doesn't come as an allied Gniesenau takes his remaining 8k hp with a salvo.... Given that I totally carried the flank on my own you'd expect a well done or a +1... not on your life the miserable sods.

Had a game with @CauldronBornthis evening. He played his S Dragon and I my Hatsuharu... Almost right off the bat we were abandoned by our two BB's (Full health by the way) and we did our best to counter the enemy push at both A and B cap zones... Due to the fleeing BB's S Dragon was heavily damaged and escaped by the skin of his teeth, I didn't see him go down but he stayed with me all the way. I took out the enemy Shiratsuyu and took a chunk of the Hindenburg before being nailed by the Duke of York... Our holding action meant that the Lemming train in C rolled over all opposition... Quite frankly the team were lucky that we stayed in position as we did damage and spotted until we went down ourselves... The cowardly BB's finished low on the lists.... Sinop and New Mexico....

I've often wondered why only one set of secondaries are firing. Let's say your chosen target is to starboard, the guns on the starboard side fire on your chosen target but on the Port side, with another target within their range, the guns are idle... If the programming allows for automatic firing (For those without manual fire control) then surely the guns not actively firing on your chosen target can choose their own? @MrConway Would it really be so difficult to resolve this?

I got my Visby through the tokens.... It's a fast DD..... and that's where it ends. 2 Torpedo hits scored 2,400 damage.... Guns fire all over the place like RNG on Weed.... As a DD main I will stick with Minekaze....

I hit a ship with two torpedoes and I impacted with 2,400 damage against my opponent. Visby is fast, yes.... Personally as a DD main that's about it in my opinion.

Wait until you've played a 'Visby'.... makes the ones you mention look amazing....

I think that there is something wrong with the 'Navy Rum'. I fear that it's 70% proof or higher and the AA gunners are slightly drunk... I haven't seen this ever in four years of game play....

In the years I have played this game I have never before seen a penalty for shooting down friendly aircraft... I suggest you check the alcohol content of the RUM your AA gunners get

Had an outing in my Shimakaze. Managed to get behind the whole enemy team... 1st Target Thunderer 3 torps and he's running... 2nd Target Yamato, 10 torps + and well he's just gone.... 3rd Target Hindenburg 3 Torps and well let's just say it's game over for him too.... Got nailed by a Daring in the dying minutes but I certainly gave good account for myself.... Nice to get a decent damage tally for a change.. If you're wondering about my torps well:

As a DD main, in a game, I would fear the Alaska over the Georgia.. However, one important question, are you capable of playing either ship? No disrespect intended but I have witnessed some really piss poor premium ship players of late. You don't have many battles under your belt.

In my opinion, It's the same all over now. Money in over quality given ( After all 8.0 must have cost WG a fortune).... that's why WG made the game so easy now. It's why the Ships that need skill to play, like DD's, have been hammered hard. It's why ships like Smolensk were introduced.... You can buy your way to Tier X now even though you are incapable of handling the level.

A Kraken is a Kraken.... takes a lot nowadays to get 5 kills....

I had a game today where we had a Thunderer and a Jean Bart who continued to fire HE after HE whilst sailing broadside to 5 enemy ships.... I was not alone in asking them why they were playing like this, they never replied and just continued broadside until they were sunk... Our attentions then turned to an allied Tirpitz, who knowing an enemy Yugumo was near because I had spotted him, sailed broadside long enough to give the DD an easy kill... Thankfully my allied Baltimore and I were able to sink the last 4 enemy ships between us for a victory but it should have never been this difficult. I am seeing many premium ships in the hands of Captains not capable of playing above T4...
