    Remove Missouri radar

Pretty much spot on. I own her and I wouldn't mind losing the radar. If it was stupid putting it there in the first place surely removing it is a step in the right direction. It still has the captain retraining and more importantly the unmatched credit printing ability going for her when compared to Iowa anyway. I don't quite get all these comments: Radar on a BB is a big no-no. But now that it has it, let her keep it. That seems quite inconsistent with the numerous calls for tweaking certain ships and even whole lines/classes and with this approach we will never see WG address imbalances and OPness. So yes, Conqueror's (replace it with your pet hate ship) concealment, heal and stupid HE combined was a huge mistake, but lets keep her that way because reasons.

    Mal emparejamiento.

  8. x <- Your point reality ->. Inferior guns to what? As I said, not many old BBs are distinctively more accurate than the ships WG is releasing lately. Some are, most aren't. KGV will also be a good competitive pick come tier VII ranked. Where Colorado isn't that much. Give new ships 2.0 sigma (because WG keeps releasing 1.8 and 1.9 sigma BBs) and you will not only make many existing ships outdated and powercreeped but you will also cater to people who only want to snipe from 20km out and still hit something. Other than armor, concealment and to a lesser extent AA, there is nothing like guns' perfomance to balance a ship. But give them superb guns but poor armor or Kurfurst like concealment and people will still complain. Some people will always complain unless it is downright OP. And then other people will complain because it is OP. And when WG releases a ship that is balanced, then people complain because it's boring/undistinctive/has nothing to go for her compared to whatever... Start to pick a trend here?
  9. How many of the old (BB) ships are accurate though? Not that many. If they were churning out 2.0 sigma 100m dispersion BBs the forum would be (rightly) up in flames because that would be the mother of all powercreeps. So I'm fine with new ships having some weaknesses or not being a better version of existing ships in all departments.

    MM go home, you're drunk!

Just for fun I've looked into the stats of all DDs in that game. It's fair to say a division with 3 identical ships (be it 3 Minsks, 3 Scharnhorsts or 3 Shimakazes) doesn't bode well because no good player in his right mind (let alone 3) would do that and well, lets just say the MM did a very good job in actually giving the enemy team like for like in terms of player ability (or lack thereof)

    MM go home, you're drunk!

To be fair, a division of 3 Minks will make it hard for MM to adjust to. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with that MM.

    About to win a game

With cruisers is usually more a rabbit caught in the headlights thing, sailing full speed ahead into a cap and suddenly finding yourself the sole target of 6 enemy ships and knowing instantly you've gone way too far to survive. Or being the one and only cruiser (tier VIII obviously) in a tier IX-X match full of BBs.
  14. Some people will, some people will not. And you can still pay yourself into tier VIII battles with 35 odd euros. I'm incensed by stupid play/afks as much as the next man (that is inevitable) but the reality is this game needs all kinds of players to survive, let alone thrive, and by pandering to the elite it would only secure its demise in the non too distant future. We don't have 240,000,000 players waiting in the queue. At the best of times it's 25k of us. Outside busy hours, we end up meeting many forumites because we are only a couple thousand players online.

    About to win a game

Ok, I'll own up. my team once lost a battle because I left the enemy cap in my Aoba. A couple of seconds left to complete.
  16. You are a good player (good WR with mostly average PR) but you are not THAT good a player. Has it crossed your mind that that easy win you were predicting was in a good part because the other team also had a number of poor players and potatoes for you to rekt? No, I suppose not.
  17. Make it tier VII BBs and it would be a fair enough compromise. Tier V is just taking the pi$$.
  18. Also, WG will NEVER cap the premiums you can buy depending on skill/account/ships owned. It's not as if the game has 240,000,000 players waiting in the queue at all times.
  19. Are we not having our knickers in a twist by something we don't know yet all the details about? For all we know (correct me if I'm wrong and the details are already out) the unlocked mission to get the tier VIII french BB could be for example to be top 3 in XP with another tier VIII BB already owned. 5 times, only Randoms. Sorted.

    Best IJN premium commander trainer?

And the other posted argued (and I agreed) that there are better ways to retrain a captain and that you don't need a premium for that anymore, so you might as well keep the silver ships you enjoy, say the Amagi and, if you want to, put a premium camo on her which is cheaper anyway than buying an A hull Amagi. "Fun ship to play" is quite a subjective thing, so I find it quite ironic that you ask others which ships are fun to play yet you seem to have already decided Musashi is not fun to play because camper. I enjoy Musashi as much as I enjoy Hindenburg or Shima and I don't necessarily want all my ships to play exactly the same way. Anyway, buy them all for all I care.

    Best IJN premium commander trainer?

Actually his was one of the most helpful posts in this topic and certainly the cheapeast option. The thing about 19 point captains is that you use that Elite XP to get another 19 point captain, and then another, and soon you find yourself with a handful of them, which means you can retrain captains for other ships quite easily with that Elite XP, therefore there is absolutely no need to buy a premium ship. Stack a few flags and some camos that give you extra Elite XP on a tier X ship and you'll be swimming in Elite XP soon. I had my first 19 point captain a few months ago (Seagal) and now I have one in Missouri/Montana, indianapolis/Des Moines, Anshan/Hsienyang, Kutuzov/Chapayev, Kamikaze/Shimakaze, Musashi/Yamato, Atago/Zao, Prinz Eugen/Hindenburg, Scharnhorst/Kurfurst and Z-52. Playing them regularly will net you 300-500k (depending on flags/camos) a WEEK. More than enough to retrain any captains. And keep beefing up other captains. And of course, 19 point captains give you a huge edge on any ship. But if you are hellbent on getting a premium ship and you have the FreeXP you can buy Musashi for 1 credit, and it's a better retrainer and credit earner than any tier VIII IJN ship because tier IX.

    Missouri
