    Missouri

Interesting. The player in question is no longer a member of the clan he was in yesterday. Banned perhaps?

Food. One of those straight sailing players you (and me and just about everyone) like to rekt when sailing for the enemy team with a nice 4 citadel volley or a torp spread. They are an irreplaceable part of this game, the lowest level in the food chain if you will.

    Misiones francesas

I just argued (with no real stats to back up my point as I'll happily admit) that given a substancial number of battles even the worst players will end up around the 40% WR because a number of reasons, mainly that a very bad player in a team of 12 has a relatively low impact and the huge probability of the enemy team enjoying a like-for-like speshul snowflake in their ranks.

5.5 average tier, you'll probably meet him at tier VII-VIII, if not more. But that's no surprise.

    Players Killing themselves

Which I think if anything it kinda proves my point. That's a player with nearly 9k battles who is killed in 93 out of EVERY 100 battles after making an average damage of 11k and killing one ship every 5 bl00dy games. Yet he stands on a 42% WR.

    Players Killing themselves

Taking all batles and WR per ship stats from that screenshot I get an overall 37,96% WR. I think it's fair to assume he has a similar WR so in this example I'm not too far off the mark (the 40% WR bit) Edit: Just seen the actual overall WR in that screenshot: 38.56% Also, there are only two CVs in that screenshot and in Hakuryu he has the worst WR by some distance (followed, unsurprisingly, by the other CV), so the original screenshot wasn't particularly representative of his overall stats. He is a bad BB/DD player but an actual hindrance when playing CVs. Interesting also the damage on the Conqueror compared to, say, the Missouri.

No probs. My guess is his general WR is not that bad. It won't be a lot over 40% probably, and sure he won't be a unicum player on any mid to high tier ships, but I don't think his general WR will be THAT bad. Glad to be proved wrong though.

Ah, ok, I'm running on a guesstimate myself really. A DD or CV afk is definately a good indicator that you will be facing an uphill battle, but this can be tempered by the enemy team having his own afk, a number of potatos that do not influence the game or the battle itself has a high number of DDs (quite usual in high tiers) making that afk less relevant.

    Players Killing themselves

Can you post his global WR?
  15. Taliesn

    Players Killing themselves

Yeah, sure, but as I said, given enough battles even a very bad player will slowly move towards the 40% mark because he will not always play the lone DD/CV, because there are other 11 players on his team and even more importantly, there is a faily good chance there is a potato of the same calibre in the enemy team. If not more.

    Players Killing themselves

Hmmm, I thought I had made myself clear there, but just in case, what I meant to say is that he is a bad player but not an horribly bad player, and as an example of this particular player not being beyond salvation I mentioned his hit rate, which at 32% (across 4300 battles - 40% destroyers, 40% BBs and 20% cruisers played) I think is not too bad. And yes, it's quite similar to my hit rate but I'm happy to say the similarities end there.

    Players Killing themselves

Most bad players out there are (I'm guessing) somewhere around 40%. Even a player who is constantly afk would probably be around that 40% given a big enough sample because the impact of a single, very bad player is relatively small. The guy in that Tirpitz for example has a 45% wr. He's on 33% in Tirpitz, 60% or so in a couple of tier VI cruisers. But you may be right and I'm being way too optimistic about some players out there.

    Players Killing themselves

I think it took me 3000 battles to find out that if I double clicked I would fire all guns at the same time. There, I've said it.

    Players Killing themselves

That's not Potato Days, that's a bad streak that accidentally happened when you started Happened to me as well.
  21. Taliesn

    Players Killing themselves

Hmmm, I would hope the 32% hit rate would mostly be made up of shots fired at the enemy.
  22. Taliesn

    Players Killing themselves

32% GUN hit rate, not 32% win rate, which is utterly bad as in I've yet to come across someone THAT bad.
  23. I probably didn't express myself correctly. Pan Asian DDs can cap indeed and only a particular type of player would not try to in them. Exactly the same type of player who will like the Asashio, a ship that has absolutely no reason to go nowhere near a cap because her torps cannot even hit cruisers, let alone DDs. The cruiser thing is stupid beyond. And I love playing cruisers. She is a DD designed to promote and cater for the most absurd, illogical and egotistical gameplay you could ever imagine.
  24. Yes. Flamu claims it will be a fun ship for the player driving her but in the Assashio WG has created (note: so far WiP) the most shelfish DD you could ever imagine, so ill-suited to capping that it will only attract a very specific type of player. It is in essence a Pan-Asian DD taken a further step up the stupidity ladder. Cruisers not affected by her torps with stupidly long range.
