I'm seriously considering going range mod now that Hindy will get a 9.8 base reload. 8.6 sec with reload module looks great but it's a whooping 3km extra with range mod, which is always nice and it will also allows you to go Fighter and to keep hydro.

So advantage Siegfried. In general terms, give me number of guns and/or better sigma over gun size.

It is a nerf for ALL DDs, even though some will be more affected than others, no matter how you put it. As it is now, it is a braindead idea and absolutely unnecessary. Funnily enough, the module will eventually become next to useless when you have managed to remove DDs from the game...

Yup, the "weak armour" of light cruisers is annoying a.f. (if you're saling a BB) but not exclusive of Smolensk. And I wouldn't mind if it was tweaked to make heavy cruisers live up to their name. Russian BBs armour is a tad too much, no question about it.

Hmmm, don't know. Tier for tier, give me Kutuzov over Smolensk any day of the week and twice on Sundays. I'm not a bad cruiser player and I find Smolensk pretty meh, as in, third in damage but crucially worst WR of all my tier X cruisers. Funnily enough, my Worcester is the worst in damage but first in WR (admittedly with just a few battles) Therefore I think there is something about what @Excavatus and @ColonelPete are saying. High Damage in tier X doesn't equate to broken, when it doesn't impact matches the same way a Kutuzov in tier VIII (where heals are less common) would. And I can see the correlation between damage and WR with Kutuzov (+10k damage over my second cruiser, second in WR)

She's absolutely fine and my prime candidate for a permacamo if I ever decide to spend doubloons on another one. Don't go range. Reload all the way. Go rudder, you can kite fairly well. SAP 9 out of 10 times, just shoot at the superestructure if BBs. And don' forget to launch your torps, they will land every now and then. Follow a DD close into a cap, help him sink the enemy DD and kite away, using the smoke. Sansonetti would help, sadly I have him on the Venezia.

WG is making it sooooo easy to just play a handful of games a day at most these holidays! I can now play other games and binge watch some tv series I had on the back burner! Thank you WG!!!!

Just won a battle in coop with Zao, no afteraction report, no santa gift, server hamster probably not used to so many people going to CoOp and wondering wtf is going on. And this, boys and girls, is what happens when you make the snowflake event conditional to a victory and not many people can or indeed want to play their 60+ tier VIII-X ships in search of a win in random/ranked. What a car crash.

Yup, just made my decision to not bother with Gorizia or Puerto Rico a lot easier. I'll play a few games here and there and I'm not buying Santa Containers this year either because that is beyond ridiculous.

Yeah it's almost as if the MM was randomized huh? Who would have thunk it aye? My point was that if every week is speshiul according to this or that poster, then by pure logic no week is speshiul as it becomes the norm. To be honest I never paid much attention to ONIX's comings and goings (hardly played CWs for example) when I was there so take this with a grain of salt but I was told the guy that created the Clan went to another, more competitive Clan to play CWs shortly thereafter. Apparently there was some bad blood there and came back hurting maybe a year or so later asking everyone who had joined to leave the Clan, as he wanted to use ONIX for CWs with some friends. Pretty disgraceful behaviour if you ask me specially coming from someone who had done nothing to build the Clan other than creating it. I was expelled (along with everyone else AFAIK) and here I am, enjoying my solo career, as it should be.

Yeah, the drop in my Hindy's perfomance was considerable and unmistakable, went back to normal as soon as I removed the LM. Fires are not what's going to kill your Hindy, or any other tier X cruiser for that matter. Probably I've written this bit half a dozen times: Yamato Moskva Zao Grozovoi GK (if secondaries specc'ed) The rest are meh or worse.

Right, you haven't played a single battle in randoms with Trento. Good for you. Can't be arsed to look at your survivability rate with every tier VI cruiser but in any case there is absolutely nothing that would make any of them more resilient than Trento. Nothing. 10.8 or 10km is irrelevant also. Just as it is irrelevant that you were not giving him broadside. In fact there is probably not a single citadel in that salvo and just a few normal pens. Again, not sure what were you expecting. And no, coop bots eat torps, and contrary to what some would make you believe, they are waaaaay worse than 99% of the playerbase. Which incidentally would explain perfectly why you have 98% winrate with Aoba in Coop and less than half that winrate in randoms. Ditto for any other ship. Which leads me to believe my explanation of your appreciations is ideed correct.

Do you think they are in any way better protected against a tier VIII BB shooting at their broadside? They dissapear as fast if not faster than Trento. On an admittedly small sample but I've got Trento on 60k average damage and 3000 PR. It might not be for anyone but a bad ship she ain't. And that's a Nagato with 410mm guns shooting at you from 10km. Not sure what did you expect to happen. Finally, do you have proof for this bit?: their 'help' from developers (to make them suck less) like permanent hydro, visibility through rocks etc. Because I can think of an easier explanation.

Might be I'm looking at an outdated page. Trento goes down to 12km or so concealment with both camo and captain skill so not sure what are you sailing out there. Also, it doesn't matter if you were undetected by the time the shells arrived. A tier VIII ship deleting a tier VI broadsiding cruiser is to be excepted. ANY tier VI cruiser, not only Trento. And nope, wows bots are pond life level of bad.

If a bot in Co-op managed to sink you we can safely assume there is either something you missed (like being detected inside the smoke because of another enemy ship near by) or he was extremely lucky (read RNG), because unicums... these bots they are not. Either way it doesn't say anything about Trento. Edit: Also, according to wows-numbers, you do not own a single italian ship???

Then the order of the day is to abandon C, simply trying not to get sunk, and kite away towards B and ask for support there, not at C. Some of the reds are even worse positioned than your teammates.

Day of the Bismark or something? It's not actually that bad, except maybe the Chapayev.
