Asashio in a division = way to go. Take a good gunboat DD, say Cossack or Kidd, and one cruiser and it is an OP division - without a doubt. You can aggressively cap with this setup - you have a counter to any other class. I had only a few games in it, with this setup - but results are excellent (feel free to check). Also, I managed to get compliments for a teamplay and my number of kills using guns is probably the same as the number of torp kills. That being said, an average solo torp spamming WG wallet warrior in random game gives it a bad name. You know, the ones that don't even recognize that Asashio comes with guns So, when I see a solo Asashio, I already count on having one DD less in the game. I guess that you can say that it is a very weird proposition - the ship which at first is seen as an ultimate anti-teamplay ship can really shine in a coordinated teamplay.

Whoa!!! I bought 5 x Big Santa Box and I got: 10 Streamers Camo Nueve de Julio Ashitaka Mutsu (This one was in SC - how does that work?) 7500 Coal I feel lucky!! You must understand, the only ship i EVER got from a SC was Krasny Krim......

I have to say - I think I have found a sequence that is specific to CV game (don't ask me why - but it is ONLY in CV game). If you change a focus from loading screen (or your PC flashes something like a "windows Update is ready" or any other high priority notification that can change focus from WG client) then it is almost guaranteed that you will not be able to join the battle, not even after complete cold reboot! That in my mind is an indication that instead of hardware or drivers related, is rather some stronk programming in the client while it tries to re-estabilish connection and initalise display. And yeah, @Commander_Cornflakes you are damn lucky. It is most frustrating when you look at your team moving at loading screen and there is nothing you can do..... And your karma,.... well you can imagine what happens to it as you in a CV are seen as AFK....

While you MAY be right, it is not as simple. It is a well known bug - specially when playing CVs, if you don't believe me - check the bug reports section. If you get stuck in the loading screen - there is nothing you can do. And don't tell me it is my PC, as the game works perfectly fine with an occasional DC or a crash with any other class of the ship - I have rejoined on number of times with no consequence to the team. You can try to end the game process, even reboot the PC - nothing helps. Tinfoil hat moment - is WG trying to further reduce CV player population before a big switch-over to the new CV game play

Late loading is back. Also, sometimes it happens that you are stuck on loading screen and on minimap you can see all ship icons moving. This bug is in the client forever - how about doing something about it?

Game was trolling me so badly last two weeks(the horrors, the horrors!!!), so I was close to making a long (or even forever) break and thought of all doubloons. So.... I have a confession to make, I went to dark side and I got it. 5 games, 100% WR , 95K damage. Early days, I know.... However, the best part is that I have the same number of kills using guns and torps. Also, some very lol moments - like one shoting a CV from 18K, he though he was safe humping the map border. I think it can be played as a part of a team. I spot, engage low HP targets and cap. If you play it in a div, it can be very very useful.

Grozovoi definitively worth it. Gearing - still not sure. For clan wars or ranked, I think it will be much more valuable than for randoms.

And sadly, it didn't stop at the end of the weekend. I had a lots of time today - roflstomps whole day. I kept track - something like 12 roflstomps (depends on definition), 5 normal games and 3 throws (as in 900 points for us, 500 for enemy, 1 minute left and Yugumo decided to charge YueYang and Yamato with guns blazing).... Subjective as it may sound, IMHO, there is a trend towards one-sided games.

Hello all, After they added MBRB on Henri, I find it quite good and a joy to play. I need an advice on build, currently I have: 1. PT 2. EM + AR 3. SI + DE 4. CE And have four points left. I was thinking maybe RL to use it as a DD hunter, but Henri IV is too clumsy to do that, specially early in game. AFT is also not that attractive as there are not enough CVs to justify it. Any suggestions?

Hello all, I might have missed it, but when do we get rewards? My clanmates and me have played more that 10 games on RU schedule and according to the announcement, we are entitled to rewards. When do we get them - at the end of clan battles season (i.e. Sunday) or when? Thx in advance!

Z-39 would be my preference, but you can't get it for doubloons. I do have Harekaze, very good ship....

Thanks @_Teob_, good advice, but I already have Yo Lang I have most of the premium DDs, the missing ones are Sims, Monaghan (both of these seem a bit boring tbh), Cossack (soon, soon...), T-61, Z-39 and Asashio. And Black (hoping to have enough steel after next Ranked).

Indeed, having no smoke teaches you very quickly about map awareness and positioning. I stand by what I wrote, I think that Yugumo is more pleasurable to play than Shima. Don't sell it immediately, is my advice.... ;)
