    you are aware you can fly AROUND the group to reach the point that is closes to your target ship so you spend the least time in AA ? I mean this is basic stuff ...

    And the destroyer has no indication it was detected this way ...

    171+  rounds per min per broadside out to 11.3 km.Each shell with the potential to inflict 1800 dmg and pens 21mm orf armor.

    Theoretical 307800+ dmg per min without causing fires-the guns are poorly accurate at best.

    Say 5% hit rate at max dmg on a thinly armored sub gives over 15 k dmg per min.

     

    A surfaced sub would last whole long under that sustained fire ??

     

    Not supporting subs but would figure that a well played Mass would deal rapidly with a surfaced sub within secondary range.

    If the enemy submarine player is dumb enough to go for a surface attack ,or is forced to surface.

     

    Submerged is a different story...but surfaced my money is on the Mass.

    My guess why it only has a 5km asw strike -it possibly does not need it.

     

    I would say buff the ships that need it but Mass is open to debate.

    you have to detect a target to be able to shoot at it ... subs have concealment on par or better than DDs, so they can surface outside their detection range and even if you see the pings on the water, you have no way (other than blind fire of main guns) to do anything ....

    That is not a low-end PC, that's a low-end SMARTPHONe .... 4GB RAM ??? your issue is right there ... your iGPU uses main memory to hold textures and the game + OS need memory as well ... 4GB ram is barely enough for an Android TV stick these days ....

    They just seem superfluous in the mode, whilst easy to deal with they are utterly inconsequential to the whole experience. 

    I do agree that the bot subs are dented ... they are just stealthier DDs as they don't dive, don't have smokes and no guns ... no point in having them there ... also I have not seen ONE ping from any of the subs I have encountered ....

    If you queue as a T10 dd you are getting insta deleted the moment you are detected by an enemy dd, they literally hit every shot no matter what you do, really not fun and no player i ve ever met in ranked/random had such good aim. 

     

    In general I think there should also be a limit on how many BBs your team can bring, 3 maximum (5 players total). 

    Right now literally everyone is playing BB in this mode because as a cruiser or DD you get insta deleted by focus fire and aimbot like shots the very moment you are revealed. 

     

    Also in general this mode is very frustrating as a DD, everything sails away from you as a DD, but the enemy ships have no issue with constantly sailing broadside to all the BBs... while you as a DD always get focused and bombed by the enemy CV... 

    the enemy CV sails away from the DD, but has no problem by doing so sailing right into the open sea towards 4 BBs ... 

     

    Also in general simply everything is alrdy dead before your torpedoes get there :(

    hmm ... tried the Marceau for a few battles yesterday, did not have such issues .... yes the bots prefer lower HP targets but I have not found their accuracy to be a problem ....


  7. actually played some last evening, first tried GK, waited a minute in the q with 100 other BBs and gave up ... Alaska was next, this was excellent fun, next I  tried Marceau and I think I will stay with Marceau for the rest of the patch ...

     

    it would be nice to have this battle mode Standard Battle only. Domination makes no sense as this should be a kind of onslaught defensive mode ... apart from that and a few MM issues (too many BBs on bot side) I do very much like the mode ....

     

    oh allow divisions please !!! would be a a nice clan activity for small clans ...

    I guess I'll join the fun in a GK ... I only play DDs bus this looks like a mode to junk around and try stupid things ...

    The difference in events and rewards was there even prior to the split :-) So I fail to see the point in the difference argument anyway :-)

  10. Hello Wargaming, could you please STOP releasing events without proper information about them ? Summer festival is in the armory available already but NO information on the main website and the armory info has no relevant numbers anywhere (like how many tokens from what).

     

    How many skill points do the commanders from the Holdall cans have ? Nowhere to be found in the container description ...

    The illumination shell do not negate the smoke screen, the spotting is still 2km in that case, but when I shot it jumped to 17,6km (that must be the "standard" range within an illumination shell light).

    I would really like to understand this mechanic, to me seems a bit nonsensical.

    I mean, from what is calculated that abnormal range?

    This in a game where radar goes through landmass and a 16 dual purposse gun AA cruiser is only able to put up 4 flak shells at a time ? NO WAY !!!

    The same is true for surface ships.     And yes, if every sub player was el2azer we would have issues. But if every surface ship player was you and me el2a would have issues too. It balances out. The reality is that the majority of submarine players are so bad that the class being broken doesn't matter same as CVs as they are the shitfest they are for 4 years now. 

     

    So please stop attacking him as a person. He likes subs, nothing wrong with it, he plays them successfully nothing wrong with that. If a DD main focuses mostly on DDs is stats will always be much better in DDs in comparison to other ship types.

    Let's for once be fair on this forum. If you want to disagree with him just disagree with him politely. There is no reason to always start ridiculing people.

     

    He isn't coping. He isn't complaining. His only gripe is that depth charges have to much aoe range which I think is fine that are is as it is so I disagree with him but there is no need to pretend him being the most clueless player for saying that.

     

    It's not like him saying what he likes and doesn't influences WGs decision-making either. WG balances via spreadsheet. Nothing we say here matters. So why witchhunt people like him when in the end their opinion and your or mine don't matter much. It's a place to talk about it and not aim to shut other people down.

    The positioning game between a DD and a submarine is about the same given the concealment constraints and weapon range constraints. Compare his submarine torpedo hit rate to a DD torpedo hit rate ... he has 30+% on subs while best 11% or so on DDs ... f.e. Minekaze and Cachalot/U-69 in his case ... Minekaze does face radar very rarely in its MM spread while both classes deal with some pretty slow BBs. He has decent winrate in both, game sample is adequate ...

     

    There's clearly a bias there towards SUBs and he's not an experience DD player given the available stats so previous DD experience would not provide a basis to build upon ...

     

    Problem with the stats is I cannot see survivability in those ships so hard to draw the complete conclusion ...

    I don't know ... the Z-42 small caliber guns are fine and I am sure the Blyska ones could be tweaked ... problem is the main purpose of those mounts was AA and we know what WG thinks about effective AA ...
