I think Farraguts will be great ... long lasting smoke, long range guns and a lot of dakka ... and the torps are not bad as well even tho they are short ranged ... -
In typical WG fashion, they cannot be transparent. Active means as in NOT TURNED OFF or ACTUALLY FIRING ?

Dream on. This issue was pointed out to WG during testing of the original captain rework that we need indicators for conditional skills. A few months down the line and nothing happened ...

So you managed to kill 2 modes in one update with CVs and subs combined ? Why play Ranked when they are on tiers that contain CVs only ? And subs in the mix ? I will sit that one out. And I think CBs with 2 CVs per side will be thrilling for the participants .... -

Fem is making a typical western citizen mistake that expects democracy and discussion/exchange of ideas to work here. WG is a dictatorship. The mindset is completely alien to the western audience that never experienced it. However the WG US people should have known and acted accordingly. Seems they have a lot of the guilt in this case ...

Judging by the winrates, your and the enemy team DDs were not different. You actually had a slight advantage ? So what are you complaining about ?

I think this is a result of some backend load balancing implementation. Basically there are backend servers where we are connected to and if they get loaded, a player migration happens. Unfortunately the accumulated session data is NOT migrated with the player it seems. You can see mentions of these in some restart notes that state something to the effect "connected players will be migrated to another server". -
for 20 seconds ? my view range was literally at the map edge and I am playing DDs, so at most 17km. shots went at targets 5-6km behind me ...

tbh I had situation where shells appeared from a map corner where there was no cover (islands) I had enough view range to cover the whole map corner and no ship rendered ... basically shells out of the clouds ..

If it were not so random it would be fine. Take citadels f.e. ... they are a similar catastrophic situation but if you know your ship and what the enemy has available, you can mitigate them. Unfortunately the magazines are nowhere to be seen in the client or otherwise, so you have no clue what and how to hide ... -

I can agree to this ... but the DDs are sometimes to blame as well as they don't check their support and push forward regardless ... These days if that happens to me I simply turn away from both sides and if RPF is not involved I shadow the enemy and look for torpedo opportunities while I leave my BBs to handle their own torpedo beats ..

Actually no. On the Hood it was a totally lucky shot and a few mitigation measures malfunctioned to make it happen. Also if you look into ANY promotional videos where WG display detonations, they get it completely wrong and a flooded SHELL MAGAZINE explodes the ship while the actual danger is in the powder magazines ...
